I think it's movie time. Maybe I'll watch the Exorcist,Passion of the Christ,Damien, The Omen, or my favorite Halloween.

Ya know they made a sequel (or two) of the Exorcist when Linda Blair was older. I saw one of them years ago and it sucked. Shes basically just in her 20s and is "repossessed." It was quite disappointing.

The Topic have faith in Science, sure but faith is all or nothing is it not. Put all your faith in somthing that is known "factual" that is not entirely true, but mostly theories and enducated guesses. There is truth in science yes as we uncover more, God has already laid it out. Why believe in man/science when most of here dont even have faith in our own families much less people who claim to be a credible person? Why should we have faith in man when we all here know that we as humans are capable of being deception and have our opinions turned and manipulated for monetary gains? You WANT ME? to believe that they are telling the truth, when people on a daily basis get paid off from drug companies to hide certain information? I have no Faith in Man or in evidence found by man that we call science. We are very capable of lying and do so in most instances, are we not watching the news? I agree...there are too many things in life that can't be explained away. Since God lives in the realm of impossibilities...I believe in Him.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. "He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him." Everyone will see Jesus descend from the sky. Such an event would only be possible on a flat earth. Once again, some miscalculations here being made as it relates to geophysics. If god created the planet, wouldn't he know it was round!

In the OT. It speaks of his return will be so bright that at evening it will turn to day time. Personally I believe this is every eye shall see him because everyone will be looking to the sky to see what iis going on.. Blessings...Miles

Yeah but Miles, the Earth is round so even if every eye was cast upward, they would not all have the same range of sight. Plus it will be day and night depending on where you are. A person in Australia would not have the same perspective as one in North America. Granted 15th century Christians believed the Earth to be flat until it was proven otherwise to which they fought tooth and nail.

I agree. That i believe is why the prophet says nightime will turn into daytime. that is some awesome light. The ones at Jerusalem it says that come against him will have thier flesh melt away from thier eye sockets.. This has been said over and over by many false prophets that this is a nuclear bomb. The scriptures do not say ant such thing.. but you could have the moon turn so bright the reflection would light up the other side of the world. I have played football in the winter with a full moon and snow on the ground with no lights many times... Shalom...Miles

Well I guess I am simply over thinking it then. However there is still no way that a man coming down from the sky could be seen from every vantage point of the planet at once. If you have a globe in your house, go look at it. Whether it was day or night you would not be able to see him ascend to earth, at least not the way it is described in that particular passage. I certainly hope he doesn't melt peoples' skin off because thats not what i look for in a savior.

The concept of a spherical Earth displaced earlier beliefs in a flat Earth Im not saying it was ONLY medieval Christians that held the concept of a "flat earth" but pretty much it was. It is believed that the Greeks had a concept of a rounded earth as far back as the 6th century BC.

The 2 witnesses are killed and for 3 1/2 days the world sees them and rejoices over them being killed as they are put on public dispay. How will the world see this? internet and TV. when this happens do you not think this will not be on every channel on tv and everywhere on the net? If i all off a sudden at 11pm at night had my house light up and looked outside to see what's going on. I would be turning on the TV or internet to find out. Only in this time table now is this possible for both evernts.. Blessing...Miles

How will he melt your face off exactly? I want to be prepared. So in fact you are saying that of course the entire planet will not be able to actually witness this with their own naked eyes because the earth is round but we will need to rely on radio, internet and TV for full coverage of the events? Hmm, the bible should have been a little more specific because as it stands, it just sounds wrong.
