The papal administration is saying that there could be aliens, but if there are, then they are xtian aliens.

they have updated the 7 deadly sins.

So, you have to give them credit for that.

Abortion is still a sin but stoning unruly children isnt.

But that's the whole point about being lazy.
I dont have to adhere to standards. You said it yourself, the two are not mutually exclusive, but they can be used in tandem.

Its a good book for sex, drugs and murder. Although the hero gets it in the end, he, kind of, cheats by getting dad to help him back home.

what I see:

Christians are trying to give you something that they see as special

Atheists are trying to take something away from you
hmmmmmm


I see the first part almost the same. But when you decide not to accept the something, xtian philosophy is to tell you that you are not going to heaven. So unless you believe that something, you are going to hell.

Atheism isnt trying to take something away. There is nothing to try and take away in the first place.

If your faith is strong, nothing an atheist will say will change your belief system, and you will not get upset about it.

Its only when your faith is challenged, do most xtians try to defend themselves by attacking the atheist with the words "hater" and "heathen"

The Bible is so obcessed with sin and punishment that it almost never speaks about anything positive.

How anyone can believe that God is so negative is beyond me.

It's truly disturbing to me that so many humans would worship this God as being righteous. It only goes to show me that they have very low moral values of their own.

In light of the Bible it would seem that many modern day Christians actually have higher moral values than there God.

Any Christian who is against the death pentalty clearly has higher morals than the biblical God.

The biblical God is anxious to see anyone murdered who has sinned at all!

If we followed the bible we wouldn't need jails. If you are found guilty of a crime (which would almost always also be a sin) you should just automatically be put to death according the GOD!

Zero tollerance for disobedience.

This the God that the Christians claim to worship!

Jesus can't have changed all that.

The original God said, "Thou Shalt have no other God's before me!"

And God is also supposed to be non-changing. So if there was ever a time when he wanted sinners to be murder then why would he change his mind?

Jesus clearly can't be the same God as the Old Testament.

That's a given!

According to Jesus we will be judged as we judge. Therefore in a very real sense we are our own judges.

You must accept this if you trust the Bible to speak for Jesus.

Jesus also taught us not to judge.

If we don't judge, and we are judged by how we judge, then we won't be judged at all.

That's what Jesus taught.

If I'm going to take Jesus at his word I expect that come 'judgment day' I will not be questioned at all.

I have passed no moral judgments on anyone, thus according to Jesus no moral judgments will be passed on me.

Those are his words. If he can be trusted to speak the truth. Then this is the way it must be. The pearly gates will just open for me like the automatic doors at the Wal-mart. No questions asked. So says Jesus.

You will be judges as you judge others.

I judge no one. Therefore, according to Jesus, I will not be judged.

Here is my looking foward to equal Justice. If this was followed. Many crimes would never be procecuted.

A good system..

Deut 19:15-21
