This one caught my eye because I raise rabbits.

Leviticus 11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

Rabbits do not bring up anything; they let it go all the way through, then eat it again. This description given in Leviticus is inaccurate, and that's that. Rabbits do not bring anything up and chew on it.There is no "cheweth of the cud" taking place here at all.

Here's another thing that god didnt know about ...
Bats are not birds!

LEV 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
LEV 11:14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
LEV 11:15 Every raven after his kind;
LEV 11:16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
LEV 11:17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
LEV 11:18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
LEV 11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

DEU 14:11 Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
DEU 14:12 But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
DEU 14:13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
DEU 14:14 And every raven after his kind,
DEU 14:15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
DEU 14:16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
DEU 14:17 And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,
DEU 14:18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

Insects do NOT have four feet

LEV 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
LEV 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
LEV 11:23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

Snails do not melt

PSA 58:8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

Odd genetic engineering

GEN 30:39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

Is god sub-contracting this stuff out and the "subbie" is not following the plan.

Dayyyum!! Dont you hate with a plan falls apart?

Thought I would repost this by Belushi to kind of catch back up. Some of these are strange! happy

some science supports bible facts and some denounces it.

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

6:3 "The LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh."

God shortened the human lifespan to 120 years because humans are "flesh" and he was tired of fighting with them. laugh

I might be misinterpreting that one sharp but seeing as the average lifespan for humans was something like 950 years in biblical times, even though people married quite young and there is absolutely no evidence that humans ever lived that many years, then 120 would have been quite a substantial blow.

Maybe they were looking at a lunar calendar?

I ask about the lunar calendar because someone on here once posted the details of that and they actually did a calculation and it came out almost accurate to a human life being 60 years or so. People probably died much sooner back then just due to disease, famine, chronic or congenital health problems that were untreatable or warfare. This is probably why women were very often betrothed usually in their teen years and married shortly after. If 40 years old might be an anticipated lifespan, you would need to get busy having children a lot sooner.

I have a theory that time doesn't exist, that man came up with the concept for a tool to regulate trade. If it is a valid theory, it would explain a lot about early world history and the difference's in life expectency.

Except that god had some perception of time because he created everything in a week and then rested on day 7. Even god gets tired apparently. :tongue: Unless that was man's perception of time when writing this down. huh

That rest was a Hallowing for man to what was Holy. Yahweh tells us this day is Holly. Why? Because it points to the creater of all things and keeping it shows you have a desire to thank Yahweh for all the good he has done...Blessings..Miles

For Believers, EVERY DAY is HOLY Unto the Lord..not just one day....cause of the REST Found in the Lord.

Just as Christ RESTS from His COMPLETED Work on the Cross, So Also Do Believers (The Redeemed) Enter that REST.
