i highly doubt that it's any of your business. does it keep you up all night?

some people are extremely nosy and i find it very strange that these people have nothing better to think about.

PS: you don't wanna watch "two fruitcakes skipping down the isle" just simply don't go to a gay wedding. i'm sure you won't be missed

Such remarks show contempt for your 'own' gender.

He acts like a woman. So? She acts like a man. So?

Both men and women have characteristics that are important and valuable, yet we make remarks like this that are insulting to our own gender. Girlie men, sissy, you name it, does nothing to help us all find common ground.

I value the male characteristics and qualities that I have within me as well as the feminine characteristics and qualities. They have served me well and made it very easy for me to get along with both men and women, and to understand them a bit better over time.

One truly wastes our valuable time as men and women, with things that have no constructive value to the debate.

Because everyone else would give a mouse butt (translation: rat az) about two consenting male adults getting married... but the Christian Church Ladies think it is the end of the World scenario and a bunch of Men will instantly turn gay because now it is now ok to get married. hehe...

Seriously, The Gay Issue is a Strong Heated Debate issue. Perfect Issue/Subject for the Manipulative TV Evangelists and Republicans to GAIN MONEY, POWER and VOTES. They easily have a willing followers of SHEEPS (not asking any questions "Why")that will accept their FEAR tactics into sending them MONEY and SUPPORT.

The issue has NOTHING to do with GOD but the WORLD using CHRISTIAN Bible and Fears to CON easy brainless mindless sheeps that accept everything on FAITH spoken by the right people.

In defense of my Christian lady friends, I have never had one think it would be the end of the world or that it would necessarily drive men gay, though some surely think it's a major part of why the world is the way it is right now. On that I would disagree of course considering I am talking about committed couples wishing to marry, not promiscuous single men having sex with anyone, thought I am not prepared to judge that personally.

I also think conservatives aren't stupid, stubborn maybe but not stupid. I agree they know the hot button issues tend to work to get out the base. They would admit that and have. I think it might also bring them money because some folks tend to get more involved if they feel threatened by an issue, and Palin proved that. But to be fair the same happens on our side.

The opposition to their base will also use the same hot button issues in the opposite way. We too feel threatened that the Right will get out it's base and overwhelm us when we are apathetic and not paying attention. My republican friends agree with me on that, the ones that are not socially conservative.

It absolutely has everything to do with God that we are in the situation we are in. If the issue had never been in the bible in the first place there would be no discussion. It's not an issue for those of us that don't believe the bible interpreted the way it is is correct or at least absolute.

But lets not forget the millions of Christian gays, they absolutely think this has everything to do with god from another perspective, one in which they want God to be inclusive of them too. That's fine with me, even if I tend to think the whole thing is questionable when it comes to anything in the bible. But I am for being free to believe what you wish as long as it doesn't harm someone else. And despite that fact that deep down I think the world would be better off with out religion. JMHO

For conservatives who believe God has the last word on this, it surely 'does' define their views. If I said that right...

Brainless mindless sheep is the equivalent to calling us immoral, disordered heathens by Christians. We can be angry enough to think it, but it serves no purpose to express it where folks are trying to debate the question.

Both makes discussion break down. Those that might be willing to take a second look at their own beliefs as it relates to us, might find that so inflammatory they won't take the time to consider anything else that is said.

All that said, frustration is on both sides, just for different reasons.

I appreciate that you have obviously come to your understanding of our issue, this is for sure, but I am hoping that we can at least find a way to discuss it with out people shutting down intellectually or emotionally ever time we let our anger show verbally.

 Where else could we feature dancing bananas?
Who gives a phuck. It should even matter. Why do we have to have Laws telling people who they can Love. At one time two people of different race couldnt marry.
People in this Country are always talking about how free they are. A bunch of Crap.
The only thing this Country is good at, is turning People against each other. After a few people die, then everyone wants to be united.
I guess someone will bring up how bad it is in other Countries. Who gives a Damn, when you are tring too get your rights in this Country.

I completely agree. Although, I dont know if I would get married even if I could. Just seems easier to pack your stuff an leave if things go bad.
