Well historically, Christians have basically took the position that it is their way or the highway. If you choose not to believe in this based on faith alone, you might as well paint a target on your forehead. Luckily our modern day legal system no longer allows for persecution based on religious persuasion or lack there of. However, I can not count how many instances on this forum I have been told I am "going to hell" because I refuse to accept this. Thats the next best thing for them evidently.  again lies I have always told people to believe as they wish.....And please show me once where "I" said anyone was going to hell...I am nobody's judge....never have been never will be.....That is but the Ones job... |

I absolutely love how with some Christians it's "either or" thast is such a child like mentality. If you're not my friend you are my enemy. REALLY? If you don't sit with me at lunch you're not my friend anymore. REALLY? Is your God so pias and arrogant that's how he sees it? You don't have to believe in my Goddess she believes in you. She likes me more but she believes in you, no matter how much of a stick in the mud you are.   Don't see any difference with you and yours my sweet..... Really, so if I die and have been wrong all of this time, your God will allow me into heaven? And what pretail does the above have to do with anything I said. You know the answer to your question Lily.....I am sure of it. |

Mark if the beast is a biblical term and its only understood by people who read bible with good intentions and thus inspired by the Holy Spirit as the word was written with the inspiration of Gods Holy Ghost. According to the bible recordings esp. in the book of Revelation it was recorded that there was a war in Heaven where Micheal and His royal angels forth with the Satan the old serpent or the dragon (devil) or the deciever or we could say the beast was cast down from Heaven to this earth therefore the bible continue to say woe to the earth for the Devil himself, the great deciever was cast down. How about this take on it: The "dragon" refers to the draconian race of aliens from Orion. The Dracos look very much like the classic depiction of the Devil, with horns and a tail. (The royalty have bat-like wings.)The draconians are the dominate ruling race of the galaxy. The "beasts" are humans, designed for the work of slaves. "Gods chosen people" were a slave race and the genetic offspring of the redesigned beings Adam and Eve. "Satan" is not the "beast." He is probably the male draconian who rebelled against the ruling federation of draconians, a female dominated society, ruled by a queen. Whether we like it or not, we are either on Jesus side or devils side and only our character will tell on whic side we are....if our character is anti-christian we can recieve the tag of MARK OF THE BEAST (devils side). That is not true. "Like it or not" we don't have to take sides in any battle. That is the old "you are either with me or against me" mentality that George Bush practices. It is ridiculous for Christians to believe that, but believe they do. They believe that if you are not Christian then you are anti-Christian. They refuse to see the middle path of peace. They want to drag everyone into their religious wars. Unless Christians are trying to force their doctrines down other people's throats and going around with the "convert or die" attitude, I have no problem with them or what they believe. I don't like being told that I am on the side of their devil if I don't profess to accept Jesus as the savior of mankind and all the rest of that fictional doctrine. If they want to be delusional and think things like that, they they live in a fantasy world. "Christians" told the Jews to "convert or die." Many of them converted, many fled to South America. In any case, its not right to try to force a person to accept a new faith. Its all fictional. If we are bible beleiving Christian, we have the right to be on Christ side where we enjoy peace, harmony, & eternal life when Jesus comes back. He will only recognise people who share same interest as his. Jesus is not coming back. Wicca and Christianity. The presumption that can be made is that god will reject us as "sinners" if we choose not to accept Jesus as our savior. The Goddess really has no vested interest in who or what you choose to place your faith in. She takes in all. No hard feelings or anger. I think that might be another reason why I like Wicca. No threats and coercive tactics are utilized or needed. |

In one sense your right K, he had already made up his mind to destroy Israel long before Jesus was born or saying things, he hoped they would change their mind - they had plenty of time to do so. So when he finally started saying what you state and a lot of other condemning things he did speak in parables to confuse the pharisee's and Saducee's etc., the outcome could not be changed unless they changed their minds about what they had done - but he knew they wouldn't - hence they did just as he knew they would . Thus the destruction of the harlot and the temple - AD 70 |
