One day at a time :) I get down but I push my way up. I didn't start dating until 3 years. A whole nother night mare nothing like when we were young so take your time when you meet someone. You have to guard your heart. Too much lies out there for me. I keep waiting :) I do have my daughter and my grandkids 2 of them. :) Work which isn't all that or more but it keep a roof over my head :)

Tomorrow is also my wedding anniversary. It would have been my 22nd. We only got 12.

Hi guys and gals, I'm doing better today. I just need the sun to shine for a few hours. I have a new diagnosis, pssd, post sun shine disorder. It is going on two weeks of clouds and rain, I need the sun to shine, it helps. Strange huh? My next big kicker is that my grandson who went to the dr 4 out of 6 week days, He's 1, has surgery on Tues to have tubes in his ears. Hopefully we'll all feel better after he gets over this.

Like the pic Teresa :) Awww sad your grandbaby has to go through that. I am babysitting :) she is only 5 months :) I think most people get depressed after no sun for long periods. Glad your feeling better :)

Thank you to everyone who prayed for my grandson. He made it through surgery just fine, in fact when I left ther at 1:45, he was running around and happy. Thanks again.

It has been a while, those times and memories, hard day..

Lilacs A Favorite

The lilacs bloomed
on my favorite old tree.
The bark is suffering
from its musty green crust.
I wonder how long
it will be until
the blooms no longer burst
to surprise my anticipations.
In the before years,
the meadows
were full of lush growth,
fields waiting
to be mowed and perhaps,
if they could hope,
hoping they would be
left to their own volition.
I am thankful the lilacs
have enticed
my yearnings once again,
filling my soul
with that sweet
mesmerizing hint.

May 3rd went without a hitch. It has been over 4 years since her passing. The nurse made it possible for me to take three days off in a row. I have been comfortable in my own skin. Just listening to the sounds of nature. Its a great day to be alive.

Good to see your doing much better Roy :) May 1st is my younger sister death date much easier for me now butt the first 5 years were really hard.

Thanks, Carol. I hope you having a good day. Tomorrow is payday and another state skills test for the inservice before we can our checks. I have to pay my brother $40.00 for mowing my yard. I am cleared with child support for the states records. Been paying on my $50,000 student loan since last November and have it down to under $49,000. Still got the van in the shop. Taking it one day at a time. Got the laundry done except it needs to be put away and got the dishes done. Plan on building a new shed as money permits. I have computers in pieces all over the house. Mom has decided not to sell the place from out from under me. I am managing with going to my meetings and being touch with my friends. Trying to work the program in all areas of my life. It has been an uphill climb but trying to remember to take it one step at a time. Thank God I haven't tried to make any new geographical cures this year. single life can really suck at times but it has its advantages, too. Life is a lot easier with my higher power's input.
