You see, the problem is not with being born black; it's being raised white. I actually kinda agree with this, but for a completely different reason. and this is from experience. we are raised to treat everybody equally, martin luther king said judge not by the color of the skin, but by the character. yet in their community they are taught by their parents and community, that they can never be as good. because they are not white. while their peers that escape the bonds placed on them. prove they can do just as well, and better. then anyone else, regardless. (labeled sellouts and uncle toms and worse. by those who choose to remain enslaved to their known community) that is a cycle that has to be broken with in their community. no out side influence will be able to change it. Daunte's mother is white and I'm not going to pretend that white trash can do any better of a job of raising a child then a black person, or that color played a factor in any of what happened in this case. It's the black people playing the race card on these cases trying to push a social agenda on people. As far as black people being raised white is similar to the saying it's easy to take somebody out of the ghetto, but it's hard to take the ghetto out of somebody. Look what they did to the native Americans when they tried to take the Indian out of them in boarding schools. However at one time all nationalities had to adapt to assimilate, some did better then others. Most of what drives the current issues of black people is pop culture. Movies, music, peers, BLM, propaganda, poor parenting leading to future poor parenting, poor money management, disrespect. The black community has to address these problems, giving them hand outs to do so will only lead to more hand outs and abuse. Change the "black culture" what they see in movies, listen to in music, their image that they need to be gang bangers, then maybe they can fit into the American fabric. They say they want "equal rights" but to them that means the rights of whites+ special rights to fit them= black rights. To me that does not add up to "equal". LOL.. I wonder if you take the time to understand what you write.. while I agree with a lot of what you wrote. the way you wrote can be viewed as offensive by those who actually lived it. I said I speak from experience, because I shared a similar back ground, of being called white trash, white bread, gringo (no it is not just a term meaning a white person, it is a slur)( this H word for whites was blocked so I edited to remove it), red neck, hick ECT... I could just as easily have been trapped by believing it was "THE MANS FAULT" that I had to live the way I did. because I was just like others that was raised not knowing better. it was not until I left the fields of california, and started working at a nursery, that I learned.. different. yes, it is hard letting go of what you know to be true. when you find out that it was all a lie. it takes time to come to terms with it. and some people never fully make the adjustment. I dont know his mother, she could be a verry decent person who did the best she could. I'm sure she probably did. for all I know she came from a good home in a good neighbor hood. but was taught that women were inferior, and her job in life was to be a good wife and raise kids. even people that meant well in the 60's and 70's . did not understand they were causing harm. Martin Luther King taught us to rise up and show our worth as equals regardless of skin color. while others in the movement taught that we should hate back, and blame others for holding us back and to blame what we are, not who we are for our failings. so that we could be trapped and be able to be controlled through that hatred and miss trust. people that are not taught to recognize their victory's will never achive them, and people who dont study their history. are doomed to repeat it. and if your not part of the solution, your part of the problem. |

She wasn't SOLELY responsible for the National Guard not being called in, others ALSO had SOME power to call in the National Guard. She could have told Irving, who is under her direction, to ask for the National Guard to be brought in..the same way she can call on him to remove people from the House. Not having SOLE power DOESN'T mean, AS YOU SUGGEST, that she had NO power. You can stand with your statement as many times as you wish but it doesn't change the FACTS. The National Guard is commanded by the state governor, and in the case of DC, it's commanded by the President, or possibly the SecDef (still cabinet-level). If the Guard wasn't called until late, then that pretty much falls on Trump, and according to testimony, Trump only wanted them to protect the protestors. Imagine a skirmish between the Capitol Police and the National Guard! Also, most anybody can request the DC National Guard, but it is still up to the president to approve. if the president is advised by the people directly responsible, that it was not necessary at the time. and the request was not directly sent to him. then the responsibility remains with those who advised against it. my boss is responsible for the properties I work at, but if I fail to inform him that I need a tech for a repair that I'm made aware of, and I do not call one in. then I'm at fault, not him. |

the same bread that cost me a buck Twentynine last year, now costs 3 bucks. the burger meal that was 5 bucks is now 9..
it is what it is. I was raised to compare prices and volume, to find the best deals. I also buy meats on shelf pull date mark down. and freeze it. you can often get it for half price this way. and if you ever paid over 100 bucks in a fancy restaurant for an aged stake thats what this is. I never thought I would see a day, where hamburger cost the same or more per pound then a steak. |

I miss the old cars, my favorites were a 1969 Buick GS 400, still have the engine, rear bumper and emblems, it was the only car I had that went 0 to 100mph in half the time it went from 100mph to 0. My other favorite was a 1969 Imperial Lebaron with a 440 engine, top speed of approximately 170 mph, in 1977 the highway patrol car I went by couldn't catch me, he got the guy I was racing. There is a 65 Impala sitting on a place where I'm building some cattle fence. It was left by previous land owner. Straight body but has rust holes in hood and deck lid. Some fiberglass would probably fix that. If I didn't have too many projects... LOL, as the pictures above shows, I can relate to too many projects. the hood and deck lid can be replaced, you can get almost perfect reproduction parts for them through several suppliers. |

The OP makes it seem like she was the victim here. How absurd. This is because she IS THE VICTIM! Daunte Wright took the life of Kim Potter. She showed up for work to make the community a better place and this thug fights her and destroyed the life that she knew. If you fight or run from the cops there is a chance you will die, if you do not want to take that chance then don't commit crimes and when you get caught stand up and face the consequences. She had every right to shoot him, does not matter if it was an accident or not, she had the right to do what she did. That car will kill somebody just as fast as a gun will, and there was nothing saying he didn't have a weapon in the car. She will be out of jail in just over a year, but she will have to live with this the rest of her life, she can't just go home and go back to work and forget this all happened. This guy destroyed her life, how long did he really think it would have taken to catch him had he gotten away? If this thug was still out their how many others would have he caused harm too? Are you going to support people whom work for a living? Or support the low life freeloaders that harm others to take over the streets? Get a clue people, if they are locked up the can not commit a crime (outside of jail anyway) and they can not reproduce either! And yes the 4 cops that arrested George Floyd are also victims of Floyds selfish actions and disregard for others, and the court system is just as guilty of destroying those 4 officers lives because Floyd should have never been out on the streets, and the public officials never should have turned it into a witch hunt to convict them based on public opinion. She killed someone, period. I get that she made an egregious mistake and is remorseful and her life is forever changed, but she killed someone. To use a taser to prevent him from leaving the scene is warranted. But, that’s not what happened and you can imagine all the scenarios you want for why this man being dead is okay. That’s on you. Mistakes can be costly, it cost him his life. He was the victim, period. he is a victim of his own choices, had he just complied with the officers and not tried to escape. he would still be alive. we can play armchair quarter back to make excuses back and forth. but he still made a choice. that put the events that fallowed in motion. could it have plaid out better, yes. but unfortunately, mistakes were made in haste, that can not be changed. it happened. all we can do now is try to learn from them. any one that has un intentionally taken a life, that is not a sociopath is also a victim of that mistake, and they will have to live with it for the rest of their lives. |

At some point the left has to own what it elected. This " deferment " to Trump.. is old clicked the tiny link , and it lead to the old story nothing new, just smoke and mirrors trying to find something that is not there. I found it on foxnews website, posted 2 hours ago. Also, ap, reuters, nbcnews, oregon news, and a bunch of others. National Archives has confirmed. Right. Just mishandling classified documents. The same thing for which Republicans launched investigations and hearings against Hillary Clinton. They still chant "Lock her up!" LOL. I'm willing to see how this plays out.. it is still being investigated. as for hillary.. she was actually caught destroying files. and with internal classified documents on her personal computer servers she had in her home and still walked. |

Defunding police is a horrible idea, and one that I would never support. What I would support would be more mental health experts available to police. The example you gave is perfect, this woman clearly has mental health issues. She is currently out on supervised release and has numerous court cases pending. She doesn’t care, she’s not going to stop. She needs some help. Instead foxnews turns this into a blue/red matter. That’s the problem I see. IMO the problem stems from never being held accountable. If your never punished for doing wrong than your gonna keep doing wrong. No mental health expert needed here. Maybe house arrest might convince her to stop. Now she’s to old to jail . These are the consequences that result from trying to appease one side over the other. Especially when it comes to the justice system. She’s only 42, so there’s clearly something not right with this woman. I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, we need more consequences for actions, yes, absolutely. After reading a bit about her I don’t think jail time at any point would have been the answer for her. Pardon me, I thought she was an old woman. In this case lock her up for a little while .She will think twice next time. Bastet, I’m curious of what a mental health expert could do to help her? Well, she’s homeless and she’s obviously struggling to get by, which is evident in her crimes. Sometimes getting to the root of an issue is what someone needs and helping them to find a way out. It’s interesting to read about jail time recidivism, it’s not the answer for crime reduction in a good portion of cases when they are released. I honestly would not want to be in any position to figure this all out as it is a very messed up situation on all fronts. |

If trump did in fact take classified documents to marlago upon leaving the oval office, people don’t see that as a problem? from what I understand. the documents their seeking are personal documents, normally left for the presidential archives, for posterity. and they are clasified because they are personal. |

funny how the cops don't seem to shoot white kids trying to flee, america is a dumpster fire only western nation that has live fire drills in their schools and you can go broke if you get sick everything could have been prevented by simply complying with the officer. most accidents happen when people are forced to react quickly to prevent other actions. my autistic nephew was shot by an officer because he had a realistic looking plastic knife. he did not comply, because he's mentally about 5 years old. and did not understand, he probably thought it was a game. point is, preventable bad things happen all the time. if travis did not sneak out of the house, the neighbor would not have reported a man with a knife. and if the young officer was properly trained or had an experienced officer with him, he may not have felt threatened. and it the stated case abouve, if she had her pistol on the opposite hip, she may not have mistakenly grabbed her side arm, instead of her tazer pistol. |

So I guess JH’s saying otherwise is not important. not when the full 62 page report in question, has the JHU.EDU web address embedded in it. https://sites.krieger.jhu.edu/iae/files/2022/01/A-Literature-Review-and-Meta-Analysis-of-the-Effects-of-Lockdowns-on-COVID-19-Mortality.pdf you wanted the link, now you can read the full unedited report at your leisure. just copy and paste. |

Richard. yep. Mike I'm not a cult member. But since you say that the 75 million that voted for Trunp are a cult, would that then make the 75 million who voted for Biden also a cult? their brains were not fully developed at the time of their crime
one such poor deprived kid. tried to rape his girl friend and she fought him off, so he stabbed her in the kneck 15 times. the reason why he did it, the bi itch would not have sex with me. .

Lol... didn't mean to rile up the left...but thats fine. My skin is pretty thick. Your little defund the police experiment is a total failure. Most every city or town that did is now back tracking and asking for more cops ..begging them not to leave. Giving them bonuses just to stay. But the damage is done Your bail reform is totally out of control. In Houston in the last 12 months over 40 people have been murdered by felons who were let go by bail reform.. felons that should have been behind bars. that is just one city. How many nationwide... How many people are now dead because of this " program " Actually the whole Dem slogan of Build Back Better is a joke. Nothing is built. nothing is back.. nothing is better regarding " ahh come on, its just socks" CVS, Rite Aid and many other stores are closing in the blue areas One of main reasons is... theft. You see, those " socks" cost money....and when companies loss too many " socks" .. guess what.. they leave Its called P&L..profit and loss.. And when there is way too much "L".. you cut your loses and pull out. on the defund the police front, oregon and washington are trying to hire back officers that left or took early retirement, with a substantial bonus's and they are still not coming back. no one wants to go into the riot zone knowing they have no support. |
