Theme: The Principle Of Salvation
Date: Tuesday June 10th, 2014

Scriptural Ref: Romans 10:9-10
…If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

These verses enlighten us on the basic principle of salvation. The acknowledgement and confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the God-ordained way to receive salvation. That’s how to be born again, and receive the life of God. Many today are still like Nicodemus, who came to Jesus by night and asked, “...How can a man be born again when he’s old...?” (John 3:4). Jesus understood his dilemma and replied, “The one who is born of the flesh is flesh, and the one who is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

It’s one thing for people to know they have to be born again, and another thing for them to know how to be born again. The Lord Jesus explained it by saying, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6). It’s a natural fact that flesh reproduces flesh but Jesus took Nicodemus to a higher level when He said the Spirit, which is the Spirit of God, also reproduces spirits. The Bible describes God as the Father of spirits (Hebrews 12:9), and anyone who is born again is born of the Spirit; his spirit is recreated by the Holy Spirit. So how can one be born of the Spirit? You’re born of the Spirit through the Word of the Gospel—the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23).

That’s what we read in our theme scripture. If you would believe in your heart that Jesus died for you, and that God raised Him from the dead by His Spirit, and you confess with your mouth, His Lordship, you’re saved. This Word of salvation, which is thus received into the heart, imparts eternal life. Therefore, with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the benefits of salvation, and the life of righteousness that you’ve brought me into, by virtue of the vicarious sacrifice of Christ. I walk in the reality of my new life in Christ, fully aware that I’ve been justified by faith, and have peace with God, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

HE'S WORTH EVERYTHING!

~ Monday, June 9th -
Pastor Chris.

But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor (Matthew 26:8-9).

Malachi 3:10 says, “ Bring ye all the
tithes into the storehouse …,” meaning
that irrespective of the amount—large
or small—the tithe belongs to God.
Never find yourself negotiating
whether or not to pay your tithes;
failure to pay it amounts to robbing
God: “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have
robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have
we robbed thee? In tithes and
offerings” (Malachi 3:8).
There’re times you might give to God
and hear that sneaky voice ask you,
“Why this waste?” That’s the devil
talking; he has no intent on promoting
the will of God. There’s nothing you
could ever give to the Lord that’s too
much or a waste. What matters is the
value you attach to it in your heart,
and how much the Lord is worth to
you.
Some parents, for example, get angry
at their children for choosing to serve
in the ministry. They tell them, “If you
had told us you wanted to work in
church, we would have sent you to a
Bible school, and not “waste” funds to
train you in the university.” They think
that education is too much to be used
in the ministry. The truth is, only the
very best of anything you have is good
enough for the Lord. He’s worth
everything you could ever give and so
much more.
You can live a vibrant, exciting,
inspiring, and victorious life serving
Him with all your heart, and making
Him number one in everything in your
life. Don’t let anyone deceive you with
vain words and tell you it’s a waste to
serve Him thus. He’s the Lord, and
He’s worth more than your life, and
everything you’ve got! He owns you,
absolutely!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me
your very best, your Son Jesus
Christ, to save me, and also for the
Holy Spirit, who guides, strengthens
and comforts me through your Word,
to fulfil your will. You deserve my all,
and the very best I could ever give; I’ll
serve you with my life, now and
forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

There is a good chance you have
heard the following story, because it
is a favorite of preachers. A man
tells that one morning he had
discovered a cocoon in the bark of a
tree. He noticed that a butterfly was
trying to emerge from the cocoon.
He waited a while, but it took so
long. Finally, he decided to help the
poor creature along. Slowly and
carefully, he tore the cocoon to help
the butterfly escape. The butterfly
started to come out, but its wings
were folded back and crumpled. The
butterfly valiantly struggled but
could not make it and soon died.
The man had forced the butterfly to
come out before its time without a
struggle. As he held the little body
in his hands, he realized the terrible
thing that he had done. It was the
struggle to come out of the cocoon
that the butterfly needed to pump
the fluids into it's wings and give it
strength. Without the struggle, it
died.
If you're going through tough times
right now or if you do in the future,
don't label God as uncaring and
don't give up on Him. It may be that
you need to strengthen your wings
of faith to be what you're supposed
to be. If he reached out and
interfered you may never grow into
what he has intended you to be.
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians "There
hath no tempatation taken you but
such as is common to man; but God
is faithful, who will not allow you to
be tempted above that which you
are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to
escape, that you may be able to
bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

ALIVE TO GOD THROUGH JESUS
CHRIST.

*PASTOR ANITA*
SUNDAY, JUNE 8TH,2014.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to
be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto
God through Jesus Christ our Lord
(Romans 6:11).
To be “alive to God” means to be
awakened to His reality and realm of
life; it is to be in conscious fellowship
with God. Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you
hath he quickened (made alive),who
were dead in trespasses and sins.” This
isn’t a promise of something God is
going to do; He’s already done it!
You’re alive to God! Declare this with
joy always: “I’m dead to sin, but alive
unto God!” Since you’re alive to God
and He’s real to you, you can hear and
know His voice; you can know His
thoughts, His will, and
walk in His divine destiny for your life.
The non-Christian isn’t alive to God;
he’s alive to sin and dead to the
realities of the heavenly realm. When
we talk about hearing God’s voice, he
wonders how anyone can claim that
the almighty God speaks to him. Well,
yes, God speaks to us and we hear
Him, because we’re alive to Him.
That’s our place; that’s our realm of
life. Glory to God!
The one who’s not alive to God is
easily rattled and discomfited in the
face of adversity. When challenges
come, he frets and wonders,“Where
can I get help?” However, when you’re
alive to God, He becomes your help.
Someone you know may be facing a
terribly hopeless situation, like a
cancerous growth that has
metastasized, and you’re thinking,
“Well, we’ll get him the best medical
care in the world.” You can call the
best doctors and things may not
change. But there’s one Doctor you
can call and be assured that everything
will be all right. His Name is Jesus! But,
you’ve got to be alive unto Him first!
When you’re alive to God, His light
shines in your spirit; His Word works in
you: you become alive to His
righteousness, wisdom, and grace! You
receive counsel and guidance from
your spirit because you’re one with
Him (1 Corinthians 6:17). If you’ve not
been born again, I encourage you to
give your heart to Christ even now, and
become awakened to the fatherhood
of God. Say, “Heavenly Father, I
confess Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I believe that He died for me, and that
You raised Him from the dead for my
salvation. I receive eternal life into my
heart now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I thank you for your light
that shines in my heart, and the power
of your Word that transforms my life
from glory to glory. I declare that I’m
alive to your righteousness, grace, and
the realities of the Kingdom of God, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PROGRAMMED BY ACCURATE
KNOWLEDGE

~ Saturday, June 7th -
Pastor Chris.

For this cause we also, since the day
we heard it, do not cease to pray for
you, and to desire that ye might be
filled with the knowledge of his will in
all wisdom and spiritual understanding
(Colossians 1:9).
The word “knowledge” in the
underlined phrase above is
“Epignosis” (Greek), which means
accurate, complete, and exact
knowledge. So, to be filled with the
knowledge of God’s will means your
spirit is programmed by the full,
accurate knowledge of His will.
In computer language, programming
refers to a series of instructions that
can be interpreted and executed by a
computer. Now, the Word of God is a
series of revelation and instructions
that can be interpreted and executed
by your spirit. If the Word can be
sufficiently introduced and engrafted
into your spirit, your spirit can interpret
and execute the Word, delivering to
you the way of life that’s consistent
with God’s perfect will and purpose.
This is the reason for the teaching of
God’s Word; it’s so your spirit can be
programmed by accurate knowledge,
so you can be all that God has destined
you to be.
Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of
Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom….” When your spirit is
programmed by the accurate
knowledge of God’s Word, your faith
will not buckle in the hour of crisis;
you’ll always prevail against the
adversities of life.
Keep growing in the knowledge of
God’s Word. Become so hungry for the
Word that it makes no difference what
subject you’re studying or is being
taught, it gets your attention, and
arrests your interest. There’re no vain
subjects in the Word of God. God’s
Word never returns to Him void, but
reproduces what it talks about in your
life. You may be in a service, and the
preacher is discussing what you might
not consider to be an exciting subject;
pay attention, and receive the Word
with faith and meekness into your
spirit. Your spirit, at such times, is
being programmed with the Word for
the days ahead, such that in the day of
trouble, you’ll act in line with the
Word. The day will come when you’ll
need that Word, and all you’d have to
do would be to pull it out from the
reservoir of your spirit.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank you for the power
and efficacy of your Word, which
produces in me what it talks about. I
function always in wisdom, knowing
and walking in your perfect will,
because your Word illumines my path
for glory and success, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

"DON'T LET SIN REIGN" - Friday June 6th, 2014 -
Pastor Chris.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your
members as instruments of
unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God...(Romans 6:12-14).

Our theme scripture is quite
instructive. If I told you, "Don't let that
fellow in here," and the
person I'm referring to is physically
bigger and
stronger than you -- maybe a
heavyweight
prizefighter -- you'd wonder what sort
of
"dangerous mission" I'm asking you to
embark on, because you wouldn't be
able to stop him, even if you tried.
If, on the other hand, you were the
heavy weight or the tough guy, and
you had been instructed to not allow
one puny little guy in the room, you'd
stand at the door, stick your chest out
and say, "All right, you heard the man;
stand back!" That's because you know
you're bigger
and stronger than he is and the
instruction is
not to let him in.
Applying this to our study, you're the
heavyweight, and sin is the "little guy,"
and God
has authorized you to stop it from
lording itself over you. He'll never ask
you to do something He knows you
couldn't do. But He instructs:
"...Don't let sin reign in your mortal
body, that
you should obey it in its lusts" (Romans
6:12
WEB), because He's given you the
authority and ability to stop sin.
Not only does God tell you that you
have the
authority, He shows you how to wield
that
authority in dealing with sin. He says,
"Neither
yield ye your members as instruments
of
unrighteousness unto sin: but yield
yourselves
unto God..." (Romans 6:13).
The word "yield" is from the Greek
word
"paristemi" and it means to present,
much like you "present" your
credentials at a job interview to be
perused or you "present" a newly
appointed executive to the board.
This is different from "yield" in the
sense of letting go of, giving up, or
relinquishing some
thing. It rather indicates the sense of
presenting yourself, actively and
consciously, not to sin,
but to God. In other words, its joining
yourself and acting together with Him
to live right.
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I yield myself to you as a
living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to
you as an
instrument of righteousness, to
establish your will, and manifest your
goodness mercies and grace in the
earth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

FRUITFUL IN ALL THINGS.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).

This is God’s desire for you: He wants you to live an exemplary life, so fruitful
in every good work that others would testify of God's goodness in your life.
The Word declares in Psalms 1:1-3 (GNT), “Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join
those who have no use for God.
Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day
and night. They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not
dry up. They succeed in everything they do.” This is God’s testimony of you, and similar to what the Lord Jesus
said in John 15:5: “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit….”
If you were already exuberant with praise to read that, then wait until you read the sixteenth verse. It says, “Ye
have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain….” The Lord
Jesus is the Vine, and we are the branches. That means we’re His extension, His glory and beauty. The glory of any plant is in the branches, for
that's the fruit-bearing part of the vine. If Jesus, therefore, is the Vine, and we are the branches, it means His glory is seen in us; His fruits are borne by us.
This is one of the signs that you’re a Christian: being fruitful and productive
in all things! Otherwise, your salvation, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life, will be called to question. It’s our heritage to be fruitful in all things!
It makes no difference what's been assigned to you, you can superimpose the quality and content of your spirit on it, causing it to prosper and excel.
Someone may ask, “How do I become fruitful in all that I do?” It’s by increasing in the knowledge of God’s Word. Live the Word. Programme your spirit with the Word through meditation, and the result will be your prosperity and success!

CONFESSION:
I’m fruitful and productive in all things because I live the Word! As I meditate on the Word today, the glory of God
increases in my life, and my profiting is evident, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Salvation Is Beyond Good Works.

...And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] (Ephesians 2:8-9 AMP).
Sometimes, when we tell people, “You must be born again,” they ask “Why?” because they feel there's no need to. “After all, I'm a good person, and I don’t engage in any vices; in fact, I support the work of the Church,” they’d say, trusting in their goodness or “self-righteousness.” However, to receive salvation is much more than being a good person. It doesn’t matter that you’re the “nicest” person around, you can’t trust in your good deeds to save you.
In the tenth chapter of Acts, the Bible tells us about Cornelius, a Roman centurion. Notice his qualities, as Luke puts it: “A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway” (Acts 10:2). So, even though a non-Christian may support the work of the Gospel, that alone wouldn’t save him. He would still need to hear the Gospel and have faith in Jesus Christ personally, and confess His Lordship, to receive salvation.
As “devout” and “good” as Cornelius was, the angel had to tell him to send for Peter, who would tell him words by which he would be saved. That’s a clear indication that salvation is beyond one’s good works. Peter then preached to Cornelius and his household the message of salvation (Acts 10:43), and they were gloriously saved.
John 1:12 tells us, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” The Greek word translated “received” is “lambano,” and it means to take hold of, or claim for oneself. It’s quite different from another Greek word “dechomai” which is also translated “receive” in certain contexts to mean “to have something offered to you.” In receiving salvation, you don't wait; you take hold of it and make it yours (lambano). After you’ve received Christ’s salvation and recognized He's your Lord, that realization drives you to consciously present yourself (spirit, soul, and body) to Him. This is the secret to living for the Lord, and serving Him the way He wants you to.

CONFESSION:
Dear Lord, I reaffirm my conviction that salvation is beyond good works, but only in the Name of Jesus. Knowing this therefore, my heart is stirred to preach the Gospel in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power, bringing many to salvation and the knowledge of your everlasting love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. ,

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL:

THE CHRISTIAN: A PRODUCT OF HIS RESURRECTION!

Tuesday, June 3rd_with Pastor Anita

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

If salvation were all about salvation
from sin, there wouldn’t have been
any need for Jesus to rise from the
dead. His death on the cross would
have been enough; it paid for all our
sins and guaranteed complete
propitiation. However, that’s
redemption, and not Christianity!
Redemption refers to saving someone
by paying a price. So when Jesus died,
He paid the price for man’s
redemption with His own life; He did
that for all humanity, not for
Christians. The Christian isn’t the man
that Christ died for. Look at it this way:
when Jesus hung on the cross, in the
mind of God, we were all hanging there
too (in Him), for He was our
representative.When He cried out, “It
is finished!” and gave up the ghost, we
also died in him.
Now, here's the big thing, which Satan
didn't see coming and the angels still
marvel at and seek to look into:
Christianity began, not when Jesus
died, but when God raised Him from
the dead; at the resurrection. The
resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us
something far beyond redemption; it
ushered us into a newness of life.
We’ve been raised up together with
Christ (Ephesians 2:6).
Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.” This lets us know
that salvation comes by believing in
the resurrection of the Lord Jesus
Christ, and the subsequent confession
of His Lordship. So to answer the
question: who is a Christian? A
Christian (amongst other things) is one
who identifies with the resurrected
Christ. The Christian has no past, for
the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17,
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he
is a new creature...”; meaning that he
is a new species; one that never
existed before.
No wonder James declares that “Of his
(God’s) own will begat he us with the
word of truth, that we should be a kind
of first fruits of his creatures” (James
1:18). Being born again, therefore,
you're not the “redeemed”; you're the
fruit of the redemptive work of Christ.
Redemption was consummated with
His death, but Christianity came from
the resurrection. Halleluiah!

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for making me one with Christ. I’m a new creation and I walk in the newness of life,
conscious that I've been raised
together with Christ, and seated together with Him in the place of victory, authority, and dominion ever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is
a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. ,
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL:

PARTICIPATORS IN HIS BODY AND BLOOD.
~ Sunday, June 1st -with Pastor Chris.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the
divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

When you're born again, not only is it your right to take the Holy Communion, it’s also compulsory. As Christians, we must take the Communion, for it's a participation in
the body and blood of Christ: “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The
bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?” (1Corinthians 10:16).
The Scripture above lets us understand that the cup of blessing is actually the
communion of the blood of Christ. It brings us into oneness with the blood
of Christ; it brings us into the unity of the Spirit. Likewise, the bread, which we break, is the communion of the
body of Christ. This means we’re participators in the body and blood of Christ. We’re sharers of His divinity.
The Bible says we participate in the divine nature—we’re associates of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4).
We're one with the Lord. That means His victory is our victory; His ability our
ability. The Apostle Paul declares that
we’re sufficient in His sufficiency: “Not
that we are sufficient of ourselves to
think anything as of ourselves; but our
sufficiency is of God” (2 Corinthians
3:5). There’re no more impossibilities
with you, now that you're in Christ.
You’ve been brought into the life of
unending victories. Always, as you take
the Communion, be mindful of your
oneness with the Lord.
You may ask, “How about a Christian
that has sinned, can he or she partake
of the Communion?” Emphatically yes!
He should repent of his sin
immediately and not miss the
opportunity to partake of the
Communion, for His blood was shed
for the remission of sin. All God
requires is that no one should take the
Communion in an unworthy manner;
He didn’t say, “Don't take it when you
sin.” He only said, “… whosoever shall
eat this bread, and drink this cup of the
Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the
body and blood of the Lord” (1
Corinthians 11:27). We'll explain what
this means in our next study.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making
me a new creation; thus,a participator,
sharer and partaker of the divine life in
Christ. I’m forever grateful for the
blood of Jesus that was shed to cleanse
me of all unrighteousness, and His
body that was broken for me to have
life, joy and peace, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL:
DIRECT ACCESS IN HIS NAME,
Good morning beloved...have a great day...

*PASTOR ANITA*
SATURDAY,MAY 31ST,2014.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

The Bible is replete with scriptures that show us that Jesus gave us the power
of attorney to use His Name. We have direct access to the Father in His Name. When we make requests of the Father, or decree a thing, in His Name,
it's as though Jesus Himself were asking. In John 14:13-14 He said, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be
glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." Also, John 16:23 says, "And in that day ye
shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask
the Father in my name, he will give it you."
Some people believe they don't deserve to speak to the Father directly, so they go through intermediaries to
get His attention. That's why some pray through Mary; they believe God loves her very much and wouldn't deny her any request. You don't need
any intermediaries to the Father. Jesus said, "At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I
will pray the Father for you. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that
I came out from God"(John 16:26-27).
Think about it: If Jesus doesn't need to pray to the Father on our behalf, why should we need any other intermediaries? We have free and direct access to the Father in the Name of Jesus. No wonder the Bible says, "Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace..." (Hebrews
M 4:16). Halleluiah! When you ask anything in the Name of Jesus, you're taking His place. Legally, it means Jesus is making the request. For the Father to turn down your request is to turn Jesus down, and that's impossible.
This has nothing to do with your faith. The Father doesn't consider whether or not you have faith, because He knows
you have it already. He already gave you the measure of faith (Romans 12:3); if you don't have faith, you wouldn't know Jesus. You might say,
"I've been asking, but I haven't gotten anything." How did you know you didn't get anything? You actually got
something because the Father granted your requests at the point of asking.
Don't repudiate or cancel what you got by saying you didn't get it. The Lord Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye
receive them, and ye shall have them." That's the faith-principle of asking and receiving.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank you for granting unto me the special privilege and power of attorney to use the precious
Name of Jesus. I live today in, and by the power of that Name. The Name of Jesus is named upon everything that
concerns me, including my family, job, health, and finances. Amen.

Wonderful Counselor.
Date: Friday May 30th, 2014
And his name shall be called Wonderful,
Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
The term "Wonderful Counselor" also
refers to the counsel of a king.
In Micah 4:9, the prophet asks,"Now why
dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in
thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs
have taken thee as a woman in travail,"
thus equating the king with the counselor.
He's
dealing here with the wise counsel of a
king-counsel backed up with power.
Now, the Hebrew word translated
"wonderful" actually means "mighty acts
and deeds, miraculous works."
Therefore, this is talking about miracle-
producing counsel that comes from a king,
and that king can only be the Lord,
because He's the only One that gives you
inward counsel that produces miracles on
the outside.
For example, only the Lord could have told
Moses, "Take your shepherd's rod, go to
Pharaoh, and wield that rod before him
and there would be miracles."
Only the counsel of the Lord could have
instructed him, "Hold that rod in your
hand, stand before the rock, strike it, and
water will come out."
Ordinarily, these counsels don't seem to
make sense, but the Bible says where the
word of a king is there is power
(Ecclesiastes 8:4), and we're talking about
the counsel of not just any king, but the
King of kings! He was the same One that
gave Isaac the
miracle-producing counsel at a time of
famine.
Following a prolonged dry season all over
the land of Canaan, everyone was fleeing
to Egypt.
Isaac too was about to flee to Egypt when
he received counsel to stay in Gerar (read
Genesis 26:3-4).
Isaac obeyed, and in line with the divine
counsel he received, every time Isaac dug
a well, in spite of the drought, he struck
water.
The people couldn't understand it. In the
midst of severe famine and drought, the
Bible says "Isaac...waxed great, and went
forward, and grew until he became very
great: (Genesis
26:12-13). How inspiring!
The counsel to Moses and Isaac, alluded to
in our study today came from the Lord;
otherwise, they'd have failed woefully and
resulted in utter
disaster! You can trust the the Holy Spirit,
to instruct you from within, and give you
miracle-producing counsel. He's your
"Extraordinary Strategist."
When He tells you to do something,
it may sound illogical, but it'll bring forth
outstanding results. Receive His counsels
and you'll have direction.
PRAYER:
Thank you blessed Holy Spirit for granting
me counsel and direction from within, to
function with such extraordinary wisdom
that the
adversary can't withstand or gainsay. I win
today and always, because I'm guided by
the Extraordinary Strategist, who provides
me miracle-producing counsels, in Jesus'
Name. Amen.

YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS— A GIFT OF
GRACE

~ Thursday, May 29th- Pastor
Anita.

For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him
(2 Corinthians 5:21).

When you’re born again, you become
the righteousness of God in Christ
Jesus. Sadly, many really don’t
understand what righteousness is.
Righteousness implies conformity with,
or to, the will and nature of God. This
will and nature of God must be
received, learned, or discovered
through the revelation of, or from,
God. Furthermore, righteousness is the
outworking of divine grace, granting
acceptance, liberty and rights to the
human spirit in the presence of God.
Now this is so powerful, because it
begins to explain the legality of our
righteousness in Christ Jesus. The
grace of God has given us this
righteousness: "That as sin hath
reigned unto death, even so might
grace reign through righteousness unto
eternal life by Jesus Christ our
Lord" (Romans 5:21). John 1:17 says,
"For the law was given by Moses, but
grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."
Romans 5:17 says, "For if by one man’s
offence death reigned by one; much
more they which receive abundance of
grace and of the gift of righteousness
shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."
Your righteousness is a gift of grace
delivered to you in Christ Jesus. This
gift has already been given, but only
those that receive (Greek: "lambano"),
that is, take a hold of it, shall reign in
life. Thus, it’s your responsibility to
accept your righteousness in Christ.
This righteousness gives you
acceptance in the presence of God,
such that, you now have the right and
ability to stand before Him without
guilt, condemnation or inferiority. This
is all as a result of what Christ did on
your behalf.
It really doesn’t matter who you are,
where you’ve been, what you’ve done,
or how deep in the dungeon or in the
valley you’ve been; accept His
righteousness.This will place you at
liberty to express yourself and to be
yourself in His presence, and enjoy
your rights and privileges in Christ.

PRAYER;
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me
your righteousness as a gift, and
inspiring in me the consciousness that
I’m as righteous as Jesus is righteous.
Today, I reign and rule by grace
through righteousness, as I boldly take
advantage of my right-standing with
you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY
DEVOTIONAL:
GOOD WORKS ~ Wednesday, May 28th
- Pastor Anita.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
with the Holy Ghost and with power:
who went about doing good, and
healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him (Acts
10:38).
Some people don’t appreciate miracle
healings because they claim Satan also
performs such miracles. Well, Satan
can’t heal, because healing is a good
work. There’s no place in the Bible
where Satan healed people. On the
contrary, as read in our opening verse,
he’s the one that oppresses people
and afflicts them with sickness and
disease.
In Bible days, the Jews accused Jesus of
casting out devils by the power of
Beelzebub. However, the Master’s
response was, “Every kingdom divided
against itself is brought to desolation;
and every city or house divided against
itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast
out Satan, he is divided against
himself; how shall then his kingdom
stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out
devils, by whom do your children cast
them out? Therefore, they shall be
your judges. But if I cast out devils by
the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of
God is come unto you” (Matthew
12:25-28).
He then warned them to be careful
about what they said about the works
of the Holy Spirit, “Wherefore I say
unto you, All manner of sin and
blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy
Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a word
against the Son of man, it shall be
forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh
against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be
forgiven him, neither in this world,
neither in the world to
come” (Matthew 12:31-32).
It’s wrong, and dangerous, for anyone
to attribute the works of the Holy Spirit
to Satan. Don’t call the healing
miracles of God fake. Even the
skeptical Jews in Jesus’ day
acknowledged the healings and
miracles of Jesus as a good work (John
10:32-33). Healing miracles are good
works that can only be carried out by
the power of the Holy Spirit.
It’s God’s desire for His children to
enjoy perfect health and wholeness.
He doesn’t make people sick to keep
them humble as some people think;
rather, He makes them well.
CONFESSION
I rejoice that it's God’s will and good
pleasure to see me healthy, sound,
strong and whole. I declare that the
healing power of Christ is at work in
me today; not only is my health
perfected in Christ, I dispense healing
virtue to the sick and hurting around
me, in the Name of Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness: That the man of God
may be perfect, throughly furnished
unto all good works {2 Timothy
3:16-17}.

Many people desire the leading of the
Holy Spirit in their lives but don't know
how to yield themselves to Him. Do
we yield ourselves by bowing our
heads and kneeling down before Him?
It’s good to yield to Him physically in
reverence, but this won't give the
guidance and leading you desire. In
yielding to the Holy Spirit, you must
submit to His Word. You give yourself
to what He tells you to do, and let the
Word of God live through you. The Holy
Spirit is the author of the Scriptures,
and the way He leads is through the
Word.
Those who don't understand the Word
of God can’t know and follow the real
guidance of the Holy Spirit. Anyone
who’s ignorant of God’s Word will fail
most miserably. God said, “My people
are destroyed for lack of
knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). He however
recommends for you to “Study to shew
thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth” (2
Timothy 2:15). As you study the Word,
the leading of the Holy Spirit in your
life will increase, for you'll be able to
recognize His voice.
The Word of God and the Spirit of God
bear witness to Jesus as the Living

unto you from the Father, even the
Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from
the Father, he shall testify of me” (John

God dominate your mind, your
decisions, and your outlook on life, the
more the Holy Spirit controls your life,
and leads you from victory to victory.

"HOLY GHOST TRANSPORTATION"

So the spirit lifted me up,
and took me away, and I
went in bitterness, in the
heat of my spirit; but the
hand of the Lord was
strong upon me (Ezekiel
3:14).

This is another interesting
operation of the Spirit in
the life of the believer.
Yesterday, we learnt that
the Spirit sets us upon
our feet to pray, and to
do the works of God. The
Holy Spirit can also
divinely transport you,
physically, just as He did
to Ezekiel. A similar event
is recorded in the New
Testament in Acts 8:39:
“And when they were
come up out of the water,
the Spirit of the Lord
caught away Philip, that
the eunuch saw him no
more: and he went on his
way rejoicing.”
Remember, Philip was
born again and had the
Holy Spirit in him.
However, this was
another function of the
Holy Spirit coming from
outside him. The Spirit of
the Lord carried Philip
physically, and took him
somewhere else (Acts
8:40); that’s some power!
That’s the Spirit the Lord
Jesus was talking about
when He said, “Ye shall
receive power, after that
the Holy Ghost is come
upon you...” (Acts 1:8).
One of the many glorious
benefits of having the
Holy Spirit live in us is His
ability to divinely
transport us such that He
can achieve His purposes
on the earth through us.
2 Corinthians 13:14 says,
“The grace of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and the love
of God, and the
communion of the Holy
Ghost, be with you all.
Amen.” The word
translated “communion” is
from the Greek “koinonia”
and it means, amongst
other synonyms,
“Communication.”
Transportation is one of
the systems of
communication. The
Apostle Paul was praying
that the Church would
actively experience divine
Holy Ghost transportation.
Such manifestations are
not limited to the pages
of the Bible. As you yield
to the Spirit and let Him
have His way in your life,
there's no telling how
mightily He would use
you.
Beyond being physically
moved by Him, you can
be divinely transported in
the spirit to accomplish
divine tasks in distant
lands. Right in your
closet, as you pray by the
Holy Ghost, you can touch
lives and change things
thousands of miles away!
Don’t be too weak to
pray, because the Spirit
desires to use you to
touch people and places
beyond your physical
reach.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you
for the indwelling and
abiding presence of the
Holy Spirit in my life, who

A farmer was living in a remote village.
Every day, he had to walk several miles to
the market in another village, carrying his
goods on his head. He would start out
early before sunup and come back home
very late after sunset. The strain was
already telling on his health. His feet had
grown big calluses and blisters. After
some time, he developed hernia.
New vehicle
Then his brother had pity on him and
bought him a truck. When the farmer
came back home one day, he found the
truck parked in front of his house. There
was a letter waiting for him with the key
of the truck. However, the farmer was
illiterate and could not read the letter.
Instead of looking for someone to read it
to him, he simply dumped it on the
mantelpiece in his living-room.
A year later, his brother came to see him,
only to discover that he was still walking
to the market every day. “What
happened to the truck I sent you?” he
shouted at him. “What truck?” replied the
farmer; puzzled. “I sent you a truck last
year,” insisted the brother, “so you would
no longer have to walk to the market.” “I
never received anything like that,” replied
the farmer. But when they got back to his
farm, there was the truck parked in front
of his house. It had never been used.
Don’t assume the life Jesus came to give
is the same life billionaire Bill Gates lives.
“I thought you said you did not receive
the truck?” queried his brother. “So what
is this parked in front of your house?” “Is
this a truck?” asked the hapless farmer.
“What did you think it was?” his brother
replied angrily. “Look, if you really wanted
to help me,” said the farmer, “why
couldn’t you have sent me a horse?”
Living water
Jesus met a Samaritan woman by the well
of Jacob. The woman had a bucket with
which she fetched water from the well.
Jesus asked her for a drink and the
woman started to show off. “How can you
ask me for a drink? Don’t you know you
are a Jew and I am a Samaritan? Why
can’t you get your own bucket?”
So Jesus told the woman: “why are you
making such a big deal out of something
as inconsequential as a bucket? All a
bucket enables you to get is ordinary
water. But the person asking you for a
drink has living water. Don’t you know
you cannot compare natural water to
living water? It is the owner of living
water that should be showing off, and not
the owner of natural water.”
“If only you knew the person asking you
for a drink, you would not be so uppity.
Instead, you would seize the opportunity
to ask him for living water and he would
give it to you completely free of charge.
Everyone who drinks natural water will
thirst again; but whoever drinks of the
water that I will give him will never
thirst; but the water that I will give him
will become in him a well of water
springing up to eternal life.” (John
4:4-14).
So what did the Samaritan woman do?
She opted immediately for Jesus’ living
water. “Please give me this water,” she
pleaded, “so that I won’t get thirsty
again, and won’t have to keep coming
here to draw water.” But the question is
this: how many Christians today are like
this Samaritan woman? How many would
like a drink that would ensure we never
thirst again? Indeed, how many Christians
have drunk from Jesus’ fountain of life
and, therefore, no longer thirst for the
“waters” of this world?
New life
Most of us don’t even believe living water
exists. As far as the Samaritan woman
was concerned, if it was water, whether
living or dead, it had to come from Jacob’s
well. That was the water David thirsted
for. That was the water for which the
Hebrew mighty men of valour risked their
lives, just in order to get David a cool
drink. (2 Sam 23:15-16). Therefore, the
woman wondered if Jesus was presuming
to be greater than David. The Samaritan
woman could not conceive of water that
could be more refreshing than the one
from the well of Jacob.
But I wonder how many people would
make a big deal of well water today? How
many people would like to drink from
Jacob’s well today, if it is even still there
in Bethlehem? Today, we can get
different types of pure bottled water.
Besides, we can drink them chilled from a
refrigerator and not from a well. Nobody
would make a big deal of well water today
because greater knowledge and
civilisation has since come. But in over
2000 years, knowledge does not seem to
have grown about living water. Both
Christians and non-Christians are still
yearning and making a fuss about the
water from the stagnant wells of this
world.
Jesus says: “I have come that they might
have life and that they might have it
more abundantly.” (John 10:10). But why
should we assume the life he has come to
give is the same life we have always
aspired to live? If he has come that we
might have life, then he could not have
been talking about the same life men and
women were living before his arrival.
Clearly, the life he is now offering is a life
foreign to this ungodly world.
New wine
In the early 1970’s, I came home to
Lagos from Rome to spend my holiday
with my older brother; Biodun. Biodun
had a car that was nothing short of
remarkable. It was virtually held together
with safety-pins. In order to get it going
in the mornings, it needed to be pushed
and pushed. Little Folusho, Biodun’s
three year-old son, usually joined others
in pushing it. The car would jerk and
cough until finally it would grudgingly
come alive.
A year later, my old man sent Biodun a
brand new car. But something funny
happened after it arrived. In the
mornings, little Folusho would come out
dutifully to push the new car. It took him
a while to recognise that this car did not
need to be pushed. As far as Folusho was
concerned, all cars had to be pushed
before they could start because that was
what he had been used to since birth.
It is the same with natural water and
living water. Don’t assume that living
water is the same as natural water. Don’t
assume the life Jesus came to give is the
same life billionaire Bill Gates lives. Don’t
assume it is a life of possessions. Don’t
assume it is designed to enhance our
status in the world. It is not that kind of
water Samaritan woman. It is not that
kind of life beloved Christian. And since it
is not, are we still interested?
Jesus presents us with an either or
proposition. If he is our shepherd, then
we would no longer yearn for the vanities
of this world. If we are complete in him,
then we would no longer seek fulfilment
in houses, children or bank-accounts. If
we accept his living water, then we would
no longer thirst for well water.

…HE SETS YOU UPON YOUR FEET!"
Sunday, May 25th, 2014.
Pastor CHRIS
...And the spirit entered into me when
he spake unto me, and set me upon
my feet, that I heard him that spake
unto me (Ezekiel 2:1-2).
There’s a unique operation and
manifestation of the Spirit in our lives
as God’s children, which we need to be
more conscious of. The Prophet Ezekiel
experienced this kind of mighty
visitation of the Spirit, and described
his experience in our opening verse.
Also, read what he said in chapter one,
verse twenty-eight: “…This was the
appearance of the likeness of the glory
of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell
upon my face, and I heard a voice of
one that spake.”
Ezekiel saw the glory of the Lord and
he fell flat on his face, completely
overwhelmed by His awesome
presence. Now what happened next is
what we read in our opening verse:
The Lord said, “Get upon your feet, I
want to talk to you,” and Ezekiel
recounted that when He said that, the
Spirit entered him and set him on his
feet.
This is a special operation of the Spirit
of the Lord. He came to Ezekiel,
entered him and set him upon his feet.
He does that for us from time to time.
Though He lives in you, He's also with
you, and can set you upon your feet to
do the works of God.
Have you ever been in a state where
you thought you were just too weak
and tired to pray? Still you attempted
to mumble a few words of prayer:
“Father, I thank you for this day. Thank
you for your grace in my life…” and
then you spoke in tongues a little.
Then suddenly, you heard the Spirit
say, “Get up, and pray!” It sounded
rather authoritative, but you thought
to yourself, “God understands that I'm
really tired,” and continued mumbling
weakly in tongues.
However, the next thing you knew, you
sprang to your feet, and began pacing
the floor, speaking so hard and fast in
other tongues, and you didn't have a
clue how it happened. That was the
Spirit of the Lord, “setting you upon
your feet!” Halleluiah.
The reason some don't find this
operational in their lives as they should
is that they don't recognize it as an
operation of the Spirit, and feel they’re
the ones just being inspired by
themselves to pray like that. It’s the
operation of the Spirit; acknowledge
that aspect of His ministry in you when
it happens, and be grateful to Him for
setting you upon your feet, and made
you alert so you could hear the words
of the Lord.
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the
wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit that
you've given me. Through your Word,
I’ve become more sensitive to His
voice, yielding to His promptings
within; therefore, His works, plans and
purposes are accomplished through
me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Good morning beloved, keep winning...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL:

DEFINITE REQUESTS…WITH
THANKSGIVING!

WITH *PAST ANITA*
SATURDAY,MAY 24TH,2014.

Be careful for nothing; but in
everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians
4:6) .

The Amplified Version of the opening scripture reads: “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue
to make your wants known to God.”
Isn’t it beautiful that the Lord expects us to make definite requests of Him?
Some people make requests that aren’t definite. For instance, they say, “Help me Lord, I can't continue like
this.” That’s not a definite request.
Even if someone prayed this way for the next ten years, his prayers will still be ineffective.
Our opening verse gives us two key elements of effectual prayers: definite requests and thanksgiving. In Mark 11:23, the Lord Jesus said, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”Jesus didn’t tell us to speak to “mountains,” but to “this mountain,” teaching us to be
definite in acting our faith.
When you have a strong and definite desire for change, and make your faith
proclamations accordingly, you’ll experience such miraculous demonstrations of the power of God in your life. Moreover, when your desires
are met, you'd be able to tell, and glorify the Lord for those specific miracles. Don’t just pray; make definite requests.
God wants you to live a life free of worries and anxieties; He wants you to boldly approach the throne of grace,
ask, and receive the specific grace you need for success and excellence in the different areas of life. Therefore, it
makes no difference the challenges you’re faced with, refuse to fret or doubt! Instead, make definite requests to the Father, with thanksgiving, in the Name of Jesus, and you'll have the
change you desire!

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I walk in divine wisdom, in dealing with the circumstances and affairs of life. My eyes are opened to
solutions and possibilities as I stay my mind on the Word! Therefore, your overwhelming peace guards and rules in my heart and mind, today and
always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Matthew 6:25(CEV) I tell you not to worry about your life. Don't worry about having something to eat, drink,
or wear. Isn't life more than food or clothing?
Mark 11:23(CEV) If you have faith in God and don't doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the
sea, and it will.
