THE NAME OF JESUS!!!

FRIDAY 23RD MAY 2014-
WITH «PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover {Mark 16:17-18}.

The Name of Jesus is the Name of the Godhead; it’s the Name that the Father and the Holy Spirit answer to!
It's got to be, because the Bible says "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the
earth" (Philippians 2:9-10).

That means the Father didn’t reserve for Himself any higher Name than the Name of Jesus! Therefore, He chose to invest all His authority in that Name!
When you call the Name Jesus, hell quakes, demons scamper in terror, all of nature responds, and heaven stands
at attention. This is why you should be confident to use the Name of Jesus, and live everyday in, and by, the
power of His Name; it’s your heritage.
The Name was given to you to use, and to live by. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
Peter must have remembered the words of the Master in our opening scripture, and realized we had a divine
prerogative bestowed on us by the Lord to make a demand in His Name and expect results. No wonder he
could look a cripple straight in the eye and say, "In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Then
reaching out his hand, he grabbed him and lifted him up. The Bible records
that the man, who was crippled from birth, leaping up, stood, and went into
the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:6-8).
Every Christian has the God-given right to use the Name of Jesus. When you stand in that Name, in the face of life's
crises and adversities, and before the cohorts of darkness, they'll respond to
you just the same way they would respond if the Lord Himself stood before them. Use His Name today!

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the power in the Name of Jesus, and the authority
I have to use that Name against the devil, sickness, disease and the crises
of life. I’m sustained by the power and authority of that Name, living the higher life of glory that you prearranged for me, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

John 16:23-24(TLB) 23 In that day you will no longer ask
me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
(KJV)
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
(CEV)
23When that time comes, you won't have to ask me about anything. I tell you for certain the Father will give you
whatever you ask for in my name.24 You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name. Then it will be given to you, so you will be completely happy.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
THURSDAY, MAY 22ND WITH
PASTOR CHRIS.

WISDOM CAN BE SEEN AND HEARD

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the
king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment (1 Kings 3:28).

Until someone speaks or acts, you may not know he has the Spirit of wisdom, for wisdom can be seen and heard. This
happened in Solomon’s day; they brought before him two women who lived in the
same house. Both of them had just been delivered of their babies three days apart
from each other. Unfortunately, on a certain
night, one of the women slept over her son, and he died. On realizing she had accidentally killed her baby, she went
over to her neighbour’s bed and switched the babies.
The other woman woke up the next morning to feed her baby, only to discover he was
dead. She looked closely at the dead child and noticed it wasn’t hers. She went looking
for her baby, and saw him with her room-mate. She tried to claim her child back, but
a fight ensued. The matter was
reported to King Solomon, and everyone wondered
what he would do about it. No one else lived in the house with the women, so there
were no witnesses.
The king wisely requested for as word and ordered that the live baby be divided into two. The real mother cried out “No!
Don’t kill him. I’d rather she takes the baby and nurture him,” pointing to the other
woman.
However, the one that switched the babies, said, “Yes, kill him so he won’t belong to
either of us.” Solomon then stood up and said to the real mother, “This is your baby.
Take him.” The Bible says, “all Israel heard of
the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that
the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment” (1 Kings 3:28). Wisdom, indeed, can be seen and heard.
Remember, Christ—the embodiment of wisdom—dwells in you and has imparted His nature of wisdom to you. The Spirit of
wisdom that the Apostle Paul talked about in Ephesians 1:17 is in you. Even now,
declare that the wisdom of God is seen and heard in
you today, and that you’re propelled by wisdom to function in the perfect will of
God.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for anointing my mind with divine wisdom to affect lives and
bring solutions to dicey circumstances.
I have the wisdom of the just, which propels me to function in God’s perfect will.
The wisdom of God is in my heart and in my mouth today, and I deal excellently in all my
affairs, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
1 Corinthians 2:6-7
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are
perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to

1 Kings 10:6-7 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own
land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. 7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame
which I heard.

UNDERSTANDING THE WORD!!!

WENESDAY 21ST MAY 2014,
WITH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that
seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand {Luke 8:10}.

Anybody can study the Bible; however, only the Holy Spirit can grant you understanding and unveil the realities of the Kingdom to you. The anointing
can come on you to give you
understanding of the Word. Such an
anointing comes from the Holy Spirit.
John tells us that on a certain occasion,
Jesus “breathed” on His disciples and
said, “Receive Ye the Holy Ghost” (John
20:22). The Greek word translated
“breathed” is “emphusao” which also
means, “to blow at” or “on.” Jesus
‘blew’ on His disciples to receive the
Holy Ghost! Now, Luke 24:45 helps
give an explanation to what Jesus
actually did; it says, “Then opened he
their understanding, that they might
understand the scriptures.”
We thus get the clearest picture of
what happened when we put John
20:22 and Luke 24:45 together. When
Jesus blew on His disciples and said to
them, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost,” He
actually imparted the Spirit of
understanding to them, and their
minds became anointed to understand
the Scriptures. Understanding the
Word is so important; Proverbs
4:7says, “…with all thy getting get
understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).
Reading the parable of the sower in
Mark 4 further enlightens us on the
importance of understanding the Word.
While explaining the parable, He
revealed that the seeds, which fell by
the wayside, represented those who
heard the Word and didn’t understand
it. Consequently, the devil came
immediately, and stole the Word from
their hearts.
God’s Word is the only thing the devil
seeks to take away from you; he
knows if he could steal the Word from
you, or prevent you from
understanding the Word, he could have
his way in your life. This is why you
must acknowledge and appreciate the
ministry of the Spirit in your life: He’s
the One who helps you understand the
Word of God, and grants you insight
and revelation of your heritage and
divine realities in Christ.
PRAYER::::}
Dear Father, I thank you for the
wonderful blessing and privilege of
having the Holy Spirit live in me,
granting me understanding of the
Scriptures. Thank you for unveiling
deep secrets and mysteries of the
Kingdom to me through your Word, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Rhapsody Of Realities

YOU'RE A LIGHTHOUSE.

Tuesday, May 20th.

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord (Romans 12:11).

Matthew 24:14 says, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come."
This was an instruction given by the Lord Jesus Christ, not just to pastors and evangelists, but to all who would believe on His Name. According to the
Apostle Paul, He’s made us able ministers or dispensers of the New Testament. "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new
testament…" (2 Corinthians 3:6). In other words, you’re a minister of the Gospel.
You’ve been commissioned to reach out to those living in darkness with the light of salvation. Acts 13:47 says, "For
so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the
earth." You’re a lighthouse, aglow with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No wonder Jesus said, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill
cannot be hid" (Matthew 5:14). As a lighthouse, you beam the Gospel with steady radiance to others so that they can become lights as well.
Whenever you have the opportunity to preach the Gospel, don’t hold back;
don’t be apologetic. Be bold and recognize that you’re God’s lighthouse in a dark world. He said in Matthew
5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is
in heaven." When you’re aglow with the Gospel, everyone around you will
catch the same fire and also become aglow for the Lord.
Each one of us is to stand as a burning and a shining light, living out Philippians 2:15-16, which says, "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the
sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights
in the world; Holding forth the word of life…."

PRAYER:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for the efficacy of your Word that brings salvation to those who are lost. Today, I pray for as many as will come in contact with the Gospel; that their
hearts be converted, and be set aflame to reach many more in the world with the same truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He Speaks Wisdom All The Time .
Monday, May 19th, 2014
Pastor Chris
Now when they had gone throughout
Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and
were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to
preach the word in Asia, After they
were come to Mysia, they assayed to
go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered
them not (Acts 16:6-7) .
Paul and his companions decided to go
to certain regions to preach the
Gospel, but the Holy Spirit prevented
them from going at that time. How did
they know it was the Holy Spirit who
didn't let them do it? They were so
acquainted and yielded to Him that
they could recognize His voice. That
being so, He was able to lead and
instruct them. He “didn't let them”
say what they wanted to say or do
what they wanted to do, just because it
was good. Afterwards, they received
guidance and went to Macedonia to
preach (Acts 16:8-9). Halleluiah!
The Holy Spirit has a voice, and He
speaks to you from the Word.
Whenever He speaks He speaks
wisdom, for the Word of God is the
Wisdom of God! That's why it's so
important for you to learn and know
God’s Word. He never says anything
outside the Word. Whatever He tells
you is always in sync with the written
Word, and consistent with God’s will
for your life. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak: and he will shew you things to
come.”
If you're acquainted with the Word,
you’ll know whenever the Holy Spirit
talks to you, for He bears witness to
the Scriptures. When He tells you to
do anything, don't try to question or
rationalize His counsel because He’s
the Spirit of wisdom. You can't follow
His leading and lose. He’ll lead and
guide you from success to success, and
from glory to glory.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy
Spirit who has come to live in me, and
guides me in the path of your perfect
will! My life is an unending stream of
the miraculous because I’m totally
yielded to His guidance and promptings
from within, in the Name of Jesus.
Amen.

what is the mind of the Spirit, because
he maketh intercession for the saints

Theme: Choose To Be Humble .
Date: Sunday, May 18th, 2014
Likewise, ye younger, submit
yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of
you be subject one to another, and be
clothed with humility: for God resisteth
the proud, and giveth grace to the
humble (1 Peter 5:5).
Pride is deceptive, and many walk in it
unknowingly because they can't readily
identify it. Only the Word of God can
show you what pride really is. For
instance, the Bible tells us how some
of Jesus’ disciples took offence at His
teachings and stopped following Him.
This happened in the synagogue where
He taught at Capernaum (John 6:59).
He had said some things they weren’t
comfortable with, and they reacted
saying, “…This is an hard saying; who
can hear it?” (John 6:60). They got
angry at His doctrine because they
thought they knew better than He did;
they were inflated with pride.
Now, Jesus didn't stop them from
going away. He let them go! Then He
turned to the others who remained
and asked if they would also go away.
Peter responded on their behalf, “Lord,
to whom shall we go? Thou hast the
words of eternal life. And we believe
and are sure that thou art that Christ,
the Son of the living God (John
6:68-69).These ones stayed only
because they had value for what they
got from the Lord Jesus. They were
sure He was the Christ, and esteemed
the message He brought to them. The
others weren't sure, for had they been
sure, they would have known He knew
better than they.
Pride is what makes people take
offence and walkout on others. When
something unfavourable is said to you,
don’t become offended and walk away.
Some will say, “How dare you say such
a thing to me?” If the same thing was
said to a humble person, he wouldn't
care because he no longer lives for
himself.
1 Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves
therefore under the mighty hand of
God, that he may exalt you in due
time.” Humility pays; therefore, choose
to be humble at all times. God will
keep granting you increased grace for
promotions, victories, and excellence
as long as you remain humble.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for helping me develop the right attitude to every word and instruction that comes to me by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. As I respond in humility to your Word, it produces results and accomplishes its
purpose in my life, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

THE EXPRESSION OF THE CHRIST- LIFE!!...!

SATURDAY-:¤17TH-:¤MAY-:¤2014
WITH*«PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*»

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory
{Colossians 1:27}.

Christianity is the unveiling of Christ in
you. It’s the outworking of the Word of
God in a human person. The Christian,
essentially, is the expression of the
Word of God; the image of the Word,
such that every step you take, and all
the things you do are the outworkings
of the Word of God. That’s what Jesus
was when He walked the earth; He
was the unveiling of the Word: “And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us…” (John 1:14). He was the
manifestation of God; the express
image of His person!
Now that you're in Christ, you're the
express image of Christ. You’re Christ
alive in your world today! In your
family, work place, neighbourhood, city,
and country—in that place where you
are—you're the Christ that they see.
Therefore, the words you speak, the
life you live, the way you do the things
you do, should express the Christ-life.
When people look at you, they should
see the glory of the new creation.
You’re a God-carrying vessel; you make
manifest the savour of His knowledge
and glory in every place (2 Corinthians
2:14). His presence is evident in your
words and deeds; He manifests His
love, power, compassion, and grace to
the world today through you. Carry
this consciousness with you everyday,
that Christ is alive in you, blessing lives,
and changing generations.
God's dream for your life is that Christ
will express Himself through you; and
that's true success—the image of
Christ in you—how much His
personality and character are revealed
through you. Your goal, therefore,
should be to be more and more like
Him; talking like Him, and relating to
others like Him. Everything you do
should be about the manifestation of
Christ in you—His excellence
expressed through you, for you’re His
living tabernacle.
CONFESSION:::::}
My life is the expression of the glory of
Christ; He's unveiled in me to my
world today! The divine life is
manifested through me, and I bring
others into this life through the Gospel.
I live in the consciousness of my divine
life and origin in Christ, knowing that
His wisdom, ability, and power are
working in, and through me, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.

salvation. The world may not like to
admit this truth, but we see it in the
Word of God. That’s why we must
act accordingly. Imagine having
custody of a message—the only
message—that guarantees the
salvation of men and can change the
world. This glorious Gospel of the
blessed Lord Jesus Christ, has been
committed to your trust (1 Timothy
1:11). Therefore you shouldn't treat
it with levity, hoping that, somehow,
people will hear and believe in Jesus;
no! Announce it yourself. Support it
and finance it.
You're the custodian of the only
saving power in the world: “For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto
salvation to everyone that
believeth…” (Romans 1:16-17). The
Gospel of Christ isn’t one of the
requirements for salvation; it is the
power of God unto salvation. God
wanted to save humanity and He
gave us the Gospel; there's no other
means or power to save man. To
live without Christ is to live without
God; in damnation. Only the Gospel
of Christ can bring people out of
Satan‘s thralldom.
If you haven't been born again, the
time for salvation is now (2
Corinthians 6:2); it's time to accept
Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life.
Say this prayer and mean it with all
your heart, “O Lord God, I come to
you in the Name of Jesus. I believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of the
living God. I believe that God raised
Him from the dead. I confess with
my mouth that Jesus Christ is the
Lord of my life from today. I receive,
by faith, remission of sins for my
soul, and eternal life into my spirit.
I’m born again!"
If you're already born again, become
more passionate about the Gospel!
We must become militant and
fervent in ensuring that those in our
world, and in the regions beyond,
hear and receive the Gospel, for it's
God's only definitive power for
salvation.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I believe with my heart,
and I declare with my mouth, that
Jesus is the Lord of heaven and
earth! He’s the Lord of my life, and
Shepherd of my soul! My passion
for the Gospel is stirred today, more
than ever, and I preach the Gospel in
the demonstration of the Spirit and
of power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Demonstration Of Power.

Thursday, May 15th .
Pastor Chris

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's
wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1 Corinthians 2:4).

The tremendous miracles, signs, and
wonders performed by Jesus and the
apostles weren't chronicled in the
Bible for us just so we could read and
be duly informed of what they did.
They're to inspire us and to know we
can do the same in our day through
the power of the same Spirit .
Some Christians only read their Bibles,
teach, preach, sing, pray, without
more. Doubtless, Christianity
transcends all that. You've got to have
the manifestation of power in your life!
The Bible says the Kingdom of God is
not in words only, but in power also (1
Corinthians 4:20). Paul said, “I didn't
come with words of man's wisdom, but
in the demonstration of the Spirit and
of power; that your faith shouldn't
stand in the wisdom of men but in the
power of God” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).
As you get more acquainted with the
Spirit through fellowship, His power
will be awesomely manifested in your
life. Often, before I minister, I wait for
the anointing of the Spirit to come on
me. When it does, I know that
something has happened. Sometimes,
when I'm praying, I can tell it's not
just me moving, but the power of the
Holy Ghost moving me. I can tell He
wants to lay hands through me and do
mighty things through me.
The question is: How much do you
want the power of the Spirit to be
demonstrated in your life? It's about
your hunger for Him; your passion for
the anointing to be manifested in your
life! Remember, He’s Boss, so we don’t
shake Him up to get Him to do things.
Instead, we prepare for Him. The Bible
says if you’re a vessel that's prepared,
you'll be ready and fit for the Master’s
use (2 Timothy 2:21); He'll continually
demonstrate His power: His
righteousness, grace and love through
you!
PRAYER
Dear Holy Spirit, I recognize your
presence and authority in my life;
thank you for making me an able
minister of the Gospel—a dispenser of
eternal verities—in the demonstration
of the Spirit of power! Thank you for
making me sufficient in your sufficiency
to preach the unsearchable riches,
graces, and wisdom of Christ, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.

Jesus came and spake unto them,
saying, All power is given unto me in
heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye
therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Acts 14:8-11 And there sat a certain
man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he
had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet.
And he leaped and walked. 11 And when the people saw what Paul had
done, they lifted up their voices, saying
in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are
come down to us in the likeness of men.

FAITH MAKES IT POSSIBLE!
WEDNESDAY-:¤14TH-:¤MAY-:¤2014
WITH*«PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*»
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst
believe, all things are possible to him
that believeth {Mark 9:23}.
One time, the disciples of Jesus tried
unsuccessfully to cast a devil out of a
young boy. When the Master showed
up, He cast out the demon and the boy
was cured. Of course, the disciples
were stunned because Jesus didn’t do
anything they weren't familiar with.
They tried everything they had seen
Him do, yet the devil didn't come out.
Troubled, they came to Him privately
afterwards, and asked, “Master, why
couldn't we cast the devil out?” (Mark
9:28).
The Lord’s answer was very simple;
quite unequivocally, He said, “Because
of your unbelief…” (Matthew 17:20).
Even today, many still ask similar
questions. “Lord, I prayed the way you
asked me to pray. I did every thing
you asked me to do. Why couldn't I
heal the child? Why did I lose the
pregnancy? Why did the man die?” The
Lord has the same answer for you: it’s
because of your unbelief. The disciples
must have thought they had faith,
otherwise they wouldn't have tried to
cast out the demon, but Jesus made it
clear they operated in unbelief, not
faith.
Some Christians today will argue with
you if you told them they were walking
in unbelief, and not faith. The proof
that they were walking in unbelief
instead of faith is that their faith didn’t
work, for faith always works! The mere
fact that you were asking, “Why didn’t
I get the job?” or “Why didn’t I receive
the money?” shows you were
unbelieving. Faith doesn’t recognize or
accept impossibilities. Faith doesn’t ask
“Why didn’t I get it?” because faith
already got it! The Lord Jesus said, “…
for verily I say unto you, If ye have
faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye
shall say unto this mountain, Remove
hence to yonder place; and it shall
remove; and nothing shall be
impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20).
Never accept what some people have
said about faith, that faith works
sometimes, and doesn’t work some
other times. Faith always works! 1
Corinthians 13:13 says, “And now
abideth faith, hope, charity, these
three….” Meaning that these three are
not unstable, they don't fail; they
produce results all the time.
PRAYER:::::}
Dear Father, I thank you for the
entrance of your Word into my spirit,
causing my faith to increase and
produce greater results. Your Word
prevails in me today, and I experience
its power and dominion in all my
affairs, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:::::
Hebrews 11:6(KJV)
But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek
him.
(CEV)
6 But without faith no one can please
God. We must believe that God is real
and rewards everyone who searches
for him.
(AMP)
6 But without faith it is impossible to
please and be satisfactory to Him. For
whoever would come near to God must
[necessarily] believe that God exists
and that He is the rewarder of those
who earnestly and diligently seek Him
[out].
Romans 10:17(KJV)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.
(CEV)
17 No one can have faith without
hearing the message about Christ.
(AMP)
17 So faith comes by hearing [what is
told], and what is heard comes by the
preaching [of the message that came
from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah
Himself).

Our Authority In Christ - Tuesday May
13th, 2014 - Pastor Chris
But ye shall receive power, after that
the Holy Ghost is come upon you...
(Acts 1:8).
Though Satan is the architect of all evil
and wickedness, not all sickness that
people suffer from are directly from
the devil. Jesus never gave us the
impression that all sicknesses and
diseases were directly connected with
Satan. Of course, he has a remote
connection with them because he was
the cause of sin in the very beginning.
Romans 5:12 says, "Wherefore, as by
one man sin entered into the world,
and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned."
Sickness is incipient death; so once sin
came into the world, sickness followed
too.
One may then ask, "If Satan has
something to do with sicknesses and
diseases, directly or remotely, how
come doctors are able to treat and
cure some sicknesses and diseases?"
Well, Satan isn't omnipotent. He
doesn't have all power and he can't
control all of nature. Therefore, no
matter what he does, the natural man
(let alone the Christian), still has some
power and authority; and he can
exercise that authority against Satan.
For example, the Bible tells us about a
man who was demon-possessed in
Gadara. He had a legion of devils, and
as Jesus came by, he ran towards Jesus
and worshipped Him (Mark 5:6-7).
Even though he had the devils in him,
they couldn't restrain him from
running towards Jesus. The devils
didn't make him go to Jesus; he went
of his own will, showing us that the
devils didn't have absolute control
over him; otherwise, they'd have
prevented him from going to Jesus.
No matter what Satan does, you have
the power and influence to undo
whatever he's done. Human beings
were created to be higher than angels,
and consider that demons are fallen
angels. When God created man, He
granted him power over satanic forces.
However, because man fell in the
Garden of Eden, he lost his authority.
Jesus Christ has come to give us
authority in His Name, so that what we
couldn't have done by our human
ability, we can now do in His Name.
Thank God for giving the doctors the
ability to treat some sicknesses and
diseases, but where they fail, we
demonstrate the power of Christ, and
work miracles.
PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank you for your mighty
power that's at work in me to heal the
sick and do the miraculous. I
acknowledge, and take advantage of
my authority in Christ to rule and reign
as a king in life. Thank you for making
me a success, and a champion, in Jesus'
Name. Amen.

Theme: Anointed with excellent
Wisdom.
Date: Monday May 12th, 2014
I have even heard of thee, that the
spirit of the gods is in thee, and that
light and understanding and
excellent wisdom is found in thee
(Daniel 5:14).
In the Old Testament, Daniel was
celebrated as one who had an
excellent spirit; he was blessed with
excellent wisdom. Another example
is King Solomon, who was esteemed
as the wisest man that ever lived
until Jesus. However, as much as we
may admire the excellence and
wisdom of Daniel and Solomon, we
have something in the New
Testament that they both didn’t
have—Christ! He’s our wisdom.
Colossians 2:3 says in Him are
hidden all the treasures of wisdom
and knowledge. In other words, He’s
the embodiment of all wisdom and
knowledge.
This same Christ, according to 1
Corinthians 1:30, has been made
unto us wisdom: "But of him (God)
are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is
made unto us wisdom…." Therefore,
in Christ, we have access to all the
treasures of wisdom and
knowledge. What an awesome
reality! When you made Jesus the
Lord of your life, and He took up His
abode in the quarters of your heart,
Wisdom took up His abode in you.
Not only has Jesus become your
Saviour and Lord, He’s also the Lord
of your mind: your decisions,
thoughts, and emotions.
Being the Lord of your mind means
He directs your thinking. Your mind
has become anointed to receive
sanctified thoughts. 1 Corinthians
2:16 says, "… we have the mind of
Christ." Your mind is anointed to
think excellently and deal wisely in
the affairs of life.
Thanks be unto God, that many
Christians are beginning to
appreciate and take advantage of
that which Christ has made available
to us. Many now understand and
recognize how to walk in God’s
wisdom, to live victoriously every
day! Wisdom will teach you how to
manage your home, your family,
your marriage, your business,
finances, and everything about your
life. Keep learning God’s Word, and
avail yourself of the privileges and
advantages of divine wisdom.
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for
the divine wisdom that’s been made
available to me in Christ. My
thoughts, words, and actions are
anointed to produce excellence. I’m
catapulted to a place of honour and
promotion, through your wisdom
that’s at work in me, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

The Father set Jesus not just above

Scriptural Ref: Acts 1:8 "But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy
Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part
of the earth"
Prior to this time, the Lord Jesus had
told His disciples to wait in the city of
Jerusalem until they were endued with
power from on high (Luke 24:49). On
the day of Pentecost, when the Holy
Ghost came upon them, they received
and were endued (clothed) with
supernatural power to preach and
teach the Word of God. When that
happened, they went out and began to
speak, knowing that the Holy Spirit
would energize their words with power
to save those who heard them.
Peter recognized and took advantage of
that power. That was why he could tell
the man at the gate of the temple
called Beautiful, "Silver and gold have I
none; but such as I have give I thee:
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
rise up and walk" (Acts 3:6). When the
man didn't respond, Peter grabbed
him by the hand and lifted him up, and
his ankle bones received strength and
he began to walk. Peter knew he had
power; he knew the Spirit of the Lord
was upon him.
The same Spirit that was upon the Lord
Jesus is in each one of us today. Like
the Master, that Spirit has anointed
you to preach the Gospel to the poor.
He has sent you to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind! He has empowered you
to set at liberty them that are bruised,
and preach the acceptable year of the
Lord (Luke 4:18-19).
You've been empowered to tell the
good news; and as you proclaim it, it'll
ignite faith in your hearers to receive
eternal life.

PRAYER: Truly, I am full of power by
the Spirit of the Lord; He has anointed
me to proclaim His grace and truth to
the ends of the earth, bringing men
out of darkness into their divine
heritage in Christ, in Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Further Study: Micah 3:8 "But truly I
am full of power by the spirit of the

and to Israel his sin."

the enemy: and nothing shall by any
means hurt you. "

FRIDAY 9
THE SEVEN-FOLD MANIFESTATIONS OF
THE HOLY SPIRIT
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and
might, the spirit of knowledge and of
the fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11:2
Our opening verse describes the seven
independent manifestations of the Holy
Spirit in the life of the believer, which
is indicative of the fullness of the
Spirit. These are the Spirit of the Lord,
the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of
Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel,
the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of
Knowledge, the Spirit of the Fear of
the Lord. This doesn't mean there're
seven Holy Spirits. It's one Holy Spirit,
but He manifests Himself in seven
different ways. The term, "seven
Spirits" is used to portray Him in
Revelation 1:4, Revelation 4:5, and
Revelation 5:6.
Let's read Revelation 1:4 (AMP):
"...from Him Who is and Who was and
Who is to come, and from the seven
Spirits [the sevenfold Holy Spirit]
before His throne...." Zechariah 3:9
sheds more light on this: "For behold
the stone that I have laid before
Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven
eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving
thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I
will remove the iniquity of that land in
one day." Notice it says, "...Upon one
stone shall be seven eyes." These
seven eyes, in Zechariah 4:10 are the
eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro
throughout the whole earth.
Revelation 5:6 declares that all seven
Spirits of God have been sent forth into
all the earth. This means every
Christian who has received the Holy
Spirit actually has these seven Spirits of
God dwelling in him. However, to
receive the Spirit, and to have His
seven-fold manifestation in your life
are two different things. Until the Lord
manifests Himself in your life fully
through these seven Spirits, you'll
never enjoy the best of Christianity,
which is the life of the supernatural
and the miraculous.
No wonder we're charged in Ephesians
5:18 to be filled with the Spirit: "Be
not drunk with wine wherein is excess
but be filled with the Spirit." The fact
that we're instructed to be filled with
the Spirit presupposes that we're not
always filled with the Spirit. However,
God wants us always to be filled with
the Spirit. He wants us to have the
fullness of the Spirit in us, and we can,
because it belongs to us!
Recognize and appreciate the ministry
of the Spirit in your life, and give
yourself to the Word of God. Learn to
speak and sing the Word to yourself in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs;
sing and make melodies in your heart
to the Lord always, giving Him thanks
for all things, in the Name of our Lord
Jesus Christ! These are the ways to
activate and walk in the fullness of the
Spirit. To learn more get our book
"Seven Spirits Of God."
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for granting
me the fullness of the Spirit. I live in
power and in the dominion of the
Spirit today, reigning and ruling in life,
with the power and glory of divinity
revealed in, and through, me in Jesus'
Name. Amen

Bring Forth Good From Within

Date: Thursday May 8th, 2014

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John
4:24).
Your body isn't you; it's your house, the home of your spirit. For example, your physical eyes can't see by themselves; they're windows through which your spirit sees the
world around you. Romans 12:1 says "I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service." If your life were comprised of
your body only, how would you be able to present your body to God? This lets you know there's more to you than your physical body you're a spirit being; the "real you" is a spirit.
When a man is born again, it's not his mind or body that's born again; it's his spirit.
That's where the life of God resides. When you received the Holy Spirit, He mingled
with your spirit and became one with your spirit, in an
inseparable union: "But he that is joined unto
the Lord is one spirit" (1 Corinthians 6:17). Now you can better understand why your spirit really matters to God.
It's important to learn how to function from
your spirit, and the way to do this is to keep your focus on the Word of God, refusing to be moved by the dictates of your physical senses.
For example, the doctors may have
diagnosed
that there's something wrong in your
body.
Even so, remember that your body
isn't you.
So, you can deal with that anomaly in
your
body by releasing healing and health
from your
spirit. The Bible says, a good man, out
of the
good treasures of his heart (spirit)
brings forth
good things (Luke 6:45).
Everything good that you could ever
desire in
life, is domiciled in your spirit; bring it
forth
from within you. Train your spirit with
the Word;
the Word of God reveals all the
beautiful things
God has deposited in your spirit, such
as divine
health, prosperity, victory, success,
excellence,
and the life of dominion. Stir them
from within.
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the higher
life,
which I live in Christ. I no longer live
from the
ordinary plane. I think God's thoughts,
having
been given the mind-set of the
righteous, in
Jesus' Name. Amen.

Living In The Victory Of Christ

Wednesday May 7th, 2014 - Pastor Chris.

Nay, in all these things we are more
than conquerors through him that
loved us (Romans 8:37).
When the Lord Jesus appeared to His
disciples after His resurrection, He
announced, "All hail" (Matthew 28:9).
This was a shout of victory. 1 John 3:8
says, "For this purpose was the Son of
God manifested that He might destroy
[shatter, paralyze] the works of the
devil."The enemy has been defeated
and his works, paralyzed. Jesus has
already done it. He's not trying to
make us victorious today; we're
already victors in Him. We're not
trying to conquer; we're already more
than conquerors.
Some people haven't really understood
our opening verse, but it means
exactly what it says. To say "we're
more than conquerors" means the
victory over our adversary is a
foregone conclusion; we're no longer
celebrating his defeat. We're living in
the victory already.
Imagine a sportsman, who wins a gold
medal. He lifts his trophy in
celebration and everyone rejoices with
him. After that, the officials tell him
that his victory is worth 5 million
dollars, which they go ahead to pay
into his account. Soon after, he starts
living off his prize-money. At that
point, he's no longer celebrating his
victory, but living in his victory;
because he's now using the money he
won.
In the same way, you should no longer
be struggling with the devil, fear,
sickness, disease, or with failure,
because you've gone past that level.
Your victory over satan, his cohorts,
and their evil works of darkness was
announced when Jesus defeated and
paralysed them in hell. You celebrated
that victory when you found out that
you were in Christ in His triumph over
Satan and the cohorts of hell. Now,
we're more than conquerors; living in
the victory of Christ
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for making
me a victor in Christ Jesus, and an
overcomer in this life. The greater One
lives in me; He's greater that the
adversary and the systems of this
world. In Him, I have power, dominion,
and authority over sickness, disease,
death, the flesh, and the devil. I'm
more than a conqueror, in Jesus'
Name. Amen.
