DAILY DEVOTIONAL:
DIRECT ACCESS IN HIS NAME,
Good morning beloved...have a great day...

*PASTOR ANITA*
SATURDAY,MAY 31ST,2014.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

The Bible is replete with scriptures that show us that Jesus gave us the power
of attorney to use His Name. We have direct access to the Father in His Name. When we make requests of the Father, or decree a thing, in His Name,
it's as though Jesus Himself were asking. In John 14:13-14 He said, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be
glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." Also, John 16:23 says, "And in that day ye
shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask
the Father in my name, he will give it you."
Some people believe they don't deserve to speak to the Father directly, so they go through intermediaries to
get His attention. That's why some pray through Mary; they believe God loves her very much and wouldn't deny her any request. You don't need
any intermediaries to the Father. Jesus said, "At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I
will pray the Father for you. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that
I came out from God"(John 16:26-27).
Think about it: If Jesus doesn't need to pray to the Father on our behalf, why should we need any other intermediaries? We have free and direct access to the Father in the Name of Jesus. No wonder the Bible says, "Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace..." (Hebrews
M 4:16). Halleluiah! When you ask anything in the Name of Jesus, you're taking His place. Legally, it means Jesus is making the request. For the Father to turn down your request is to turn Jesus down, and that's impossible.
This has nothing to do with your faith. The Father doesn't consider whether or not you have faith, because He knows
you have it already. He already gave you the measure of faith (Romans 12:3); if you don't have faith, you wouldn't know Jesus. You might say,
"I've been asking, but I haven't gotten anything." How did you know you didn't get anything? You actually got
something because the Father granted your requests at the point of asking.
Don't repudiate or cancel what you got by saying you didn't get it. The Lord Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye
receive them, and ye shall have them." That's the faith-principle of asking and receiving.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank you for granting unto me the special privilege and power of attorney to use the precious
Name of Jesus. I live today in, and by the power of that Name. The Name of Jesus is named upon everything that
concerns me, including my family, job, health, and finances. Amen.
