PROGRAMMING YOUR MIND
FOR SUCCESS:
SUNDAY_3RD_AUGUST
_PASTOR ANITA OYAKHILOME.

For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7)

The lack, poverty, sicknesses, diseases, and wickedness in the world aren’t essentially the reasons most people
suffer. The greater problem has to do with their minds; their thinking. Their minds have to be reprogrammed for
success, with God’s Word. Until that happens, it makes no difference where you place them, where they go, and
what happens to them; they'll keep failing.
You can reprogramme your mind with information from God’s Word. For example, 2 Corinthians 5:17 says,
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new.”This is information from the Word for you to think upon. You’re not the same old person that hitherto experienced failure, stagnation etc.; that creature is dead; you're full of success and the life of God!
Perhaps you were told that you were born with an incurable disease; that’s not a factor anymore, because you
have the life of God in you now. Nobsickness, disease, or infirmity can thrive in your body. Your way of thinking has
changed; you have new information; spiritual information from God’s Word
that has reprogrammed your way of thinking, and your life is thus transformed.
When your mind is programmed for success, you don’t join others to complain of hard times. Instead, you
think of yourself as a success, and a light in a dark world, irrespective of the
surrounding situation. It doesn’t matter how bad the economy of the country where you live might get;
you’re the seed of Abraham. Your prosperity isn’t predicated on the economy of your country. Let this be your thinking.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the transforming power of your Word in my life. As I renew my mind daily with
your Word, I’m metamorphosed into higher realms of glory, where I triumph gloriously over circumstances, established by grace in righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same
image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance
among all them which are sanctified.

Discipline Your Mind For Success:

Date: Saturday, August 2nd .
-Pastor Chris

Train me, GOD, to walk straight; then I'll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear (Psalms 86:11 MSG).

When you want to chart a new course, create new vistas, attain a new level of prosperity, or set new goals for growth, you have to learn to use your mind. Your mind is a tool that can be disciplined. You can teach it to focus in one direction, instead of vacillating in thoughts. This way, you’ll be able to use your mind to prepare your heart to accomplish greater things. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” By staying your mind on the Lord, you’re disciplining your mind to focus on the Word of God concerning you and what you're doing. The result is that you’ll experience the extraordinary peace of God that gives rest and prosperity.
Take your mind away from anything and everything that distracts, and focus your attention on God. Choose to only be around those who love the Lord, and discuss only with those who’ll inspire you. Keep away from people who’ll deflate your faith, and try to talk you out of what you want to achieve. Set time aside for study and meditation on the Word. To stay your mind on God, you have to stay your mind on His Word. Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
In addition, speak in other tongues at every opportunity you have to be alone because you’re about something; you want to birth new visions and ideas. Keep at it, and soon enough, you'd receive the note of victory in your spirit and know that everything is settled, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

PRAYER:
Dear Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I thank you for the opportunity to hear and receive your Word. I’m guided aright and know what to do at any point in time. My mind is stayed on your Word because I trust you; therefore, my peace is boundless. Amen.

LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST:

FRIDAY,AUGUST 1ST,2014.
-Pastor Chris

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).

If you’re born again you have the God-life in you; this is a statement of fact; God has set His seal to this. Notice the tenses in our opening verse: “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life….” He isn't trying to, hoping to or planning to; He’s already done it. You have eternal life now.
This life isn’t the human life, but the God-kind of life; the essence of divinity. The Word of God is definite and emphatic as to where this life is and how to get it: it’s in Christ Jesus. Anyone who has received Christ has received the God-life. This life can’t be found in any of the religions of the world. Until you confess the Lordship of Jesus over your life, and are catapulted into the glorious realms of salvation, you don’t have the God-life. What you have is the human, biological life (Greek: psuche). This human life is subject to satanic influences, sickness, disease, and the elements of this world.
However, if you have the Son, happy are you! It means you have His indestructible and incorruptible life in you. You don’t ever have to be afraid of the devil or his cohorts. The Son of God, whom you’ve received, destroyed the works of the devil in your life, family, job and physical body (1 John 3:8). He paralyzed Satan, rendered him helpless, and gave you a life that’s superior to him.
Meditate on this truth. Having received Christ, you’ve received the Light of life; the darkness is gone forever. Your life is now supernatural; therefore, rule over circumstances. Walk tall. Talk bold. Reign as a king in life: “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for imparting the divine life into my spirit through your Son Jesus Christ. That life in me destroys, paralyzes, and renders ineffective the works of the devil and his attempts in my life, family, finances, and business. Thank you for making me the dispenser of your glory, wisdom, grace, and excellence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The preacher placed two identical
jars on the table next to the pulpit.
He quoted I Samuel 16:7, "The Lord
does not look at the things man
looks at. Man looks at the outward
appearance, but the Lord looks at
the heart."
He explained, "These jars came from
the same factory, were made of the
same materials, and can hold the
same amount. But they are
different." Then he upset one of the
jars and it oozed out honey. He
turned over the other jar and
vinegar spilled out.
"When a jar is upset, whatever is in
it comes out. Until the jars were
upset, they looked alike. The
difference lay within, and could not
be seen. When they were upset,
their contents were revealed. Until
we are upset, we put on a good
front. But when we are upset, we
reveal our innermost thoughts and
attitudes, for "out of the abundance
of the heart his mouth
speaks" (Luke 6:45). What if
someone tipped you over today?
What would flow out? Would you
reveal the "honey" of grace and
patience, or the "vinegar" of anger
and sarcasm?

And He looked up and saw the rich
putting their gifts into the treasury,
and He saw also a certain poor widow
putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly
I say to you that this poor widow has
put in more than all; for all these out
of their abundance have put in
offerings for God, but she out of her
poverty put in all the livelihood that
she had.” – Luke 21:1-4.
Things were getting tougher and
tougher by the day. Her sorrow was
growing by the day. It might have
been a little easier if her husband was
alive. Help couldn’t come from
anywhere. Finally, the day dawned
when her hope, her faith and her
courage were exhausted. She decided
to die in style – making their last meal
a memorable one. She planned to feed
her child very well, eat what was left,
lock her door, cuddle him and wait for
the inevitable death to come and free
their spirits. God knocked, teased her
to give up that same last ‘card’ and
transfer her hope, h...er faith and her
courage to Him. She did…
They had listened to His message
uninterrupted for three days. It was
rhapsodizing. It was refreshing. It was
sustaining. Finally, as the meeting
ended and their intense attention left
the Master and His words, they
suddenly realized how hungry they
were. There was no place to buy food.
They were too many. Only two fish and
five loaves that belong to a little boy
was available. Jesus made a demand
on it. The little boy granted His
request…
She was once rich and powerful until
things started falling apart and the
centre could not hold anymore. She
lost her husband and with the speed of
light, her savings were gone. That
particular day, she came to church with
everything she own in her life. They
were two mites. It was not enough. It
could not have been enough. When
the time for offering came, she wiped
her tears, gave up on life and boldly
went and dropped her last ‘card’ – the
two mites into the offering box. Jesus
took note.
That same Jesus that healed a woman
that was bent over for eighteen years
and the one with issue of blood for
twelve years took note. That same
Jesus that calmed the sea, unstopped
deaf ears and opened blind eyes took
note. That same Jesus that raised the
dead and later ascended to heaven
unaided took note and narrated the
story in our opening scriptures. I can
imagine how the story of the widow
woman and her two mites ended…
Are you on your last ‘card’? Are you
desperate and need Jesus to do
something urgently before you give up
on hope, on faith, and on life? He’s the
same yesterday, today and forever!
What He did for one, He will do for
others…
When what you have is not enough for
what you need, learn from the stories
above and give it up to Jesus and watch
Him perform miracles…
May today turn out to be the best in
your life in Jesus name. Amen.
I love you!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES:
THE VIRTUES OF FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE;

*PASTOR CHRIS*
THURSDAY, JULY 31ST, 2014.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity (love) these three; but the greatest of these is charity (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Faith, hope and love, are three
important principles revealed to us in the Word. All three of them work together, but love is revealed as the greatest of the three. Anyone who comes to Christ immediately learns the value of faith, because faith is imparted to your spirit when you hear the Gospel. With that faith, you receive the
Holy Spirit, and begin to walk in newness of life.
As you mature spiritually, you learn something about hope. Hope ministers patience. The more you grow in the things of God, the more you realize
that though your faith can do anything, some things have to wait. At this stage, you start learning how to trust God.
Trust is the mixture of faith and hope.
When the Bible says Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for
righteousness, he trusted Jehovah with his life. The reason love is the greatest is that love encapsulates both faith and hope.
When you walk in love, you walk in faith and hope. To walk in the greater levels of the anointing of God’s Spirit,
you'd have to understand the power of God’s love, and walk in it.
The Lord Jesus explained something beautiful about love in Matthew 22:35-38, when a certain lawyer, wanting to test Him, asked, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered him thus, “…
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the great and
first commandment” (ASV). If you ask people to list the Ten Commandments, they’ll most certainly not start with this. They’d say, “Thou shall worship no other God before me.” But Jesus brought love before worship. He knows
that if you’d love Him, you’d worship Him.
It’s not so much what your faith or hope can do; God is more concerned about what your love can do. Go beyond faith and hope, and function in
the arena of love, where your words and actions are motivated only by love.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for filling my heart with your love by the Holy Spirit.
This love overwhelms me today, and many experience the joy and genuineness of your love-power through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

John 4:24 (CEV) God is Spirit, and those who worship God must be led by the Spirit to worship him according to the

Powerful, Loving, And Sound:

Wednesday July 30th, 2014 - *Pastor Chris*

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

As Christians, we have an extraordinary amplitude of comprehension because the wisdom of God is in our spirits.
Our minds are anointed to produce excellence. We’ve also been anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power,
and the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5). All these are by the Holy Spirit. He has made you
powerful, loving and sound. What an excellent life!
Some people are powerful, but not loving. For us Christians, these three
qualities are complete. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….”
Every Christian who has received the Holy Spirit has received power, because the Holy Spirit is the power of God. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in
you, than he that is in the world.” The One who resides in you is greater and more powerful than all the forces in
the world! Therefore, be bold to say, “…truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD…” (Micah 3:8).
The same Holy Spirit has caused the love of God to be shed abroad in your heart. It’s natural for you to walk in love, because love is the life of the
new creation. The Bible says God is love (1 John 4:8); and as He is, so are you (1 John 4:17).
Declare always that you’re full of power, love, and have a sound mind; and use your sound mind for excellence in all you do.

CONFESSION:
I’m excellent, full of power, love and the glory of God. I walk in righteousness and manifest the dominion of the Spirit. The virtues and
perfections of divinity are expressed through me today, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

YOU CARRY HEAVEN IN YOU:

Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

We, however, are citizens of heaven, and we eagerly wait for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven
(Philippians 3:20 GNB).

When Jesus came to this world, He came with as much heaven as He could live by, and bless the world with. Let’s
illustrate it this way. Imagine you’re from the United Kingdom, and you’re the Ambassador of the United
Kingdom to South Africa, you’d be living in your embassy in South Africa
as though you were in the United Kingdom. Everything necessary for you to live the life in the United Kingdom
would be made available to you, even though the house you live in is situated in South Africa.
Now, when you come out of that house, you’ll have all the rights of a diplomat from the United Kingdom, but when you meet with the people of
South Africa, you deal with them as South Africans. Nevertheless, you know that you’re from the United
Kingdom. You can only help them with as much of the United Kingdom that
you came to South Africa with. When you enter the Embassy of the United Kingdom, the rules of the United Kingdom apply. Yet, there is a country
called the United Kingdom away from you; but you have brought as much life with you from the United Kingdom to
South Africa in line with what the rules allow.
The Lord Jesus did the same thing. As much as the rules allowed, He brought heaven in Him to earth. He brought it
in His heart, because the Holy Spirit lived inside Him. He came with the throne of God in His heart. No wonder He was such a blessing to the world!
The same applies to the Christian. A Christian is more than a religious person; he’s one who is born again, and by reason of the New Birth, has
been translated into the Kingdom of God, and now lives in heaven, in the earth. He’s one with as much heaven
as he can carry. Halleluiah. If you’re born again, you carry the throne of God in your heart. You’re thus heaven’s
ambassador to this world. Therefore, preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast
out devils. Bless the world with the grace and glory of heaven that’s in you.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for bringing me into the glorious Kingdom of your dear Son Jesus, making me a partaker
of your glory and life. I carry in my heart the divine attributes of divinity, and I bless my world today, with your grace and glory that I carry, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DEVOTIONAL;

BORN BLESSED!
~ Monday, July 28th -
Pastor Anita.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ (Ephesians1:3).

Someone might whine, “It looks like a curse runs in my family, because no one seems to be making progress.”
No; not when you’re born again. The new creation in Christ Jesus is born blessed and can’t walk under a curse.
Isaiah 10:27 declares, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, & the yoke shall be destroyed
because of the anointing.” This verse doesn’t mean that the anointing breaks the yoke. Yes, the anointing breaks the yoke, but this particular
portion of scripture lets us know that because of the presence of the anointing, you can’t be “yoked.” In other words, when a yoke is placed on a Christian, it necessarily breaks upon contact with the anointing, because the Christian is anointed of the Lord. Halleluiah!
Notice again what Colossians 1:12-13 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, & hath translated us into the kingdom of his
dear Son.” You’ve been delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred
into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son!
That’s your present location. In Christ, you've been delivered, sanctified &blessed.
The devil will try to keep you from knowing that you’re blessed. He’ll say, “Reach out to God to bless you.” He could even make you believe you
aren’t qualified to be blessed because of the wrong things you’ve done. Don’t accept his lies. God already blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ Jesus. All the blessings that God could ever give came to you in Christ, in the salvation
package. You’re an heir of God’s blessing; live acordingly.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I give you thanks for in Christ, you've blessed me with all spiritual blessings and have made me a blessing. I’m a carrier and dispenser of
your innumerable blessings to a hurting and dying world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Rhapsody of Realities Devotional:

“Believing” And “Talking” Must Go Together:

Sunday, July 27th, 2014
Pastor Anita

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

Your mouth is your instrument to chart your course through life; it's not just
for eating and drinking. There’re people in hospitals who, as a result of sickness, are drip-fed through their
veins. So even though it’s convenient to use the mouth for food, its greater function is for talking; using the power of words for creating your victorious life.
Salvation has already been made available in Christ Jesus. Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” However, to catapult yourself
into the realms of glory-where you enjoy the benefits of salvation—you must use your mouth rightly, for with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is the reason some people, even though they’ve been
Christians for long, have never really enjoyed the benefits of Christianity.
They haven’t acted on the Word.
You’re to make confessions of the Word; that means speak the same things that God has said concerning you in His Word. That is what takes you
beyond salvation, to enjoying the benefits of salvation.
You ought to always make confessions about yourself on the basis of the Word of God that you’ve believed.
Until you make those confessions, your believing won't produce results. Your
believing & your confessions must go together. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “We
having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”
Those whose confessions are at variance with what they believe experience lots of ups and downs in life; no consistent victories. This is
because as the Word says, a fountain doesn't produce sweet water and bitter water at the same time (James 3:11). Speak the Word only, and
always, for a life of consistent victory and excellence.

CONFESSION:
The Word of God prevails mightily in me today, producing glory in my life.
My victory is undeniable, and all the blessings and results of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are evident in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study:
James 3:10-13 Out of

My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good
conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

REFUSE TO FEAR!
Do not be afraid is written 365 times in the bible. That's one for everyday -chin up, you're the one who makes the
enemy tremble!!
There is a 'fear not' everyday for you in the Bible. God doesn't want you to fear. FEAR(Fake Evidence Appearing
Real). Fear doesn't help you, it
destroys you. Fear is the opposite of faith. Faith activates the power of God
to act to your advantage while Fear on the other hand invoke dark forces to act against you. Refuse to fear!!!
Give no room for the devil, give no room for fear. Saturate your mind and
your Spirit with the Word of God. Speak in tounges -embolden yourself with the Spirit. Be bold, nothing can
stand successfully against you. You are more than a conqueror. Refuse to fear!!! Again I say Refuse to fear!!!
Don't fear the dark, don't fear
sickness, don't fear failure, don't fear poverty, don't fear a snake, don't fear a lion, don't fear demons or the devil,
don't fear men, don't fear death... You attracts what you fear. You empower what you fear. What you fear grows.
Refuse to fear!!!
Greater is God in you than whatever you might be facing. God is for you and nothing can stand against you
successfully. I say again refuse to fear!!!
Be BOLD, Keep the FAITH. You own this world. You are large and in charge.
Have a fearless/faithfilled day.

DEVOTIONAL;

DON'T COMPLAIN; GIVE THANKS!

Saturday, July 26th -
Pastor Anita.

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12).
Christians who haven’t learnt the value of thanksgiving have so many blessings elude them. Rather than complain and
lament to God about your life or situation, you're to be thankful to Him for qualifying you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.
Many are not thankful because they only think about what they’re going through-their lack and needs-instead of seeing themselves in glory.
Every Christian is an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ; recognize it and be thankful.
When you express gratitude to the Lord for your present level, He'll do more for you; He'll take you higher.
Do you recall the story of the ten lepers that Jesus healed? Only one of them returned to express gratitude to the Master for the healing, and he
received more; he was made whole.
His extremities that were eaten away by the leprosy were restored (Luke 17:11-19).
It brings to mind a certain man who was healed in one of our meetings.
The man was deaf in both ears, but as the meeting progressed, under such a
great anointing, he suddenly realized he could hear from one ear. He was so ecstatic about the miracle that he
immediately started making his way to the testimony line. He had only taken a few steps when his second ear popped open. That’s the power of a
grateful heart. There’re people whose circumstances will never change until they learn to be thankful. 1
Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God
M in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Learn to count your blessings and glorify God for who He is, and for what He’s done for you. There’s nothing you need in your life today or would ever need, that He hasn’t already provided.
1 Corinthians 3:21 says all things are yours. Your life, therefore, should be one of praise and gratitude to Him for
giving you all things: “According as his
divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for blessing me exceedingly, and giving me all things that pertain to life and godliness. My heart is filled with praise
and gratitude for the life of continual victories you've brought me into. I’m full of your glory, beauty, and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A REPROGRAMMING THROUGH THE WORD;

FRIDAY,JULY 25TH,2014.
PASTOR ANITA

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

The Word of God gives you everything you need: health, joy, wealth, prosperity, grace, wisdom and all that the vicarious death of Christ and His triumphant resurrection delivered to us as Christians. That’s what salvation encapsulates. With the knowledge of God’s Word in your spirit, you have what it takes to create anything you want.
At the well of Samaria, Jesus encountered a woman and asked her for a drink of water. But noticing that He was a Jew, the woman told Him they had nothing in common, and for ethnic reasons declined. Then, Jesus replied, “… Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:13-14). The Master knew He could give her something to quench her thirst forever—the Word. With the Word, she would be able to create anything she desired.
Often times, when people are facing difficult situations, what they need is a Word-therapy or what may call a “Word-diet.” They’d have to listen to God’s Word and study the Scriptures over a period of time, until the Word gets rid of the wrong mind-set, and reprograms them aright for success. If that doesn't happen, no matter what else you do for them, their situation wouldn't change.
Sometimes, when people are sick in their bodies, the real problem is beyond the symptoms that are apparent in their physical bodies. Such pains might stem from their mind. There's a difference between the sickness of the mind, and that of the body. So even when they’re healed in their bodies, the sickness continues, because it was really a problem of the mind. The solution is to reprogram their minds through the Word for total restoration.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, your Word has come to me today to renew my mind, and programme me for the victory-life. My faith in the Word prevails today and always over all circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

EMPOWERED WITH ALL MIGHT:

*PASTOR ANITA*
THURSDAY, JULY 24TH, 2014.

…That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious
power, unto all patience and
longsuffering with joyfulness
(Colossians 1:9-11).

It’s God’s will for us to be
strengthened; that is, empowered with ALL might (miracle-working) power in
our spirits! Ponder on that for a moment. He wants us filled, not with some of His power, but with all of it. He’s dealing here with “dunamis” (Greek); inherent power. He wants this power working in you.
This shouldn’t be difficult for any Christian to comprehend at all, because the one who’s born again, and has received the Holy Spirit, has received
the power of God; for the Holy Spirit is the power of God. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the
Holy Ghost is come upon you” The question now is, how can you make this power you have inside you, work for you?
The first thing is to recognize that you have it in you. You don’t need to ask God for more power. The power of
God is in you. That means you can’t be disadvantaged. Acknowledge this about
yourself always. In Philippians 4:13, Paul didn’t say, “O God, I pray you’ll give me power to do all things.”
Realizing that all the power he needed was already in him, he declared, “I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.”
Secondly, know that the power you’ve received works with attitude. Yes, you’ve been empowered with all might, and can do all things, but you
must balance it with good character: love, patience, joyfulness, meekness, and humility. Observe that the latter part of our opening verse says, “…
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”
Some people endure with anger when they face certain situations. But we’re
admonished to endure with joyfulness; patient & hopeful that the righteousness of God will be established in that situation. Therefore, in exercising your power to do
anything, and effect changes in your life and in your environment, do so with patience, longsuffering
(endurance), joyfulness, and humility.

CONFESSION:
I'm strengthened with all might by God’s Spirit in my inner man. I have the right attitude of humility in the
face of staggering opposition. Glory to God!

Thousands of cars are stolen every
year in California, but in 1981, there
was one car theft that made all the
local papers and was the lead story
on the evening news. The police had
issued an all-points bulletin to find
the missing car and to make contact
with the person who stole it.
Why was this car theft getting so
much attention? The owner of the
stolen car had informed the police
that on the front seat of the car was
a box of crackers laced with a deadly
poison. The car owner had planned
to use the crackers as rat bait. So
the police were desperately trying
to find the thief not to punish him,
but to save his life. They were afraid
he would eat one of the crackers
and die.
In the same way, our Heavenly
Father pursues us - not because he
wants to punish us but because he
wants to save us. You may be
running away from God
because - like the car thief - you are
a sinner. You have broken God's
law.
But what you may not realize is that
God is trying to rescue you, not
condemn you. The penalty for your
sin has been paid by Jesus Christ on
the cross, and God wants to give you
your freedom. So stop running and
turn yourself in. Your life is at stake!
"For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans
6:23).

INFLUENCED & DOMINATED BY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS;

*PASTOR CHRIS*
WEDNESDAY, JULY 23RD, 2014.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to
the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:16-17).

The written Word of God is the
revelation of God delivered to us, that we might be filled with the knowledge of His will, and understand the life of
righteousness He’s brought us into.
This means our thinking and
perspective on everything and in every situation, should be from the standpoint of His righteousness. It should be God’s interpretation, and not
from man's perspective. When you have this mind-set, it makes no difference the challenges you face,
what or who offends you, you’ll respond in love, conscious that you're the righteousness of God in Christ
Jesus.
Consider the Lord Jesus: He responded in love to His accusers and wouldn’t
rail back at them. He prayed to God for them, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Can you think like that about someone who has offended you? That’s how God wants
you to respond to your detractors; not as a mere man but as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
He wants the Gospel of Christ, in which the righteousness of God is revealed, to be fully expressed in and through you.
Refuse to allow anything else express itself through you; not even the pervading culture of your environment.
Let the culture of the Gospel of Jesus Christ be expressed through you. Have that dominion.
Imagine being in a traffic situation and a careless driver rams into your car.
Would you impulsively rain invectives at him for his action? That wouldn’t be the Christ-like response. It’s important that you don’t respond to people in anger or bitterness. It doesn’t matter
what someone says or does to you, let the righteousness of Christ— His love- nature influence and dominate your
actions.

CONFESSION:
I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I walk in the revelation of God’s Word, filled with the knowledge of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I’m joyful, full of love and kindness. The love and
righteousness of God are expressed through me to day. Halleluiah!

THE GOD-LIFE IN YOU:

Tuesday 22nd July 2014.
-Pastor Anita.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (1 John 5:11-12).
Your consciousness of your personality, origin, and heritage in Christ will affect
the way you live, control the decisions you make, and the things that happen with, and around you. This is why you
should be conscious of the life of God that’s in you. The Lord Jesus said in John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself;
so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.”
We read in our opening scripture that God has given us eternal life. What is this eternal life?
Eternal life is the life and nature of God imparted to the spirit of the one who believes in Jesus. It’s the supernatural
life of God in your spirit, making you invincible, indestructible, and superior
to Satan, sickness, disease, failure and death.
The Apostle John in 1 John 5:13 writes, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” God
wants you to be conscious of His life in you. That consciousness gives you the
winner’s mentality.
You don't have to “feel” it in your body first to be conscious that you have
eternal life; it's in your spirit. Every so often, declare that the life of God is in you: from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet! Perhaps you got injured and it's hurting terribly, remind
yourself that you have the life of God in you.
You’re born of the Spirit and the Word of God; your life is supernatural. That means there has to be a restoration.
Some people have had minor injuries that wouldn’t heal for many years. Such injuries
eventually degenerated into
debilitating ailments that cost them their lives, only because they knew nothing about this life of God. It’s the miracle-life! It’s incorruptible.
If you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body, activate the power of the God-life in you by praying in tongues,
and speaking the Word. Within a short while, you’d notice strength and vitality return to your body.

CONFESSION:
I have the life of God in me; it flows in every fibre of my being. No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my
body, because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me, and has vitalized my body through and through! I’m whole, sound, and excellent, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

***USE YOUR MIND***

*PASTOR CHRIS*
MONDAY, JULY 21ST, 2014.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

The focus of Romans chapter 12 is the subject of thoughts— the use of your mind. Your mind is an instrument given
to you by God to improve your life from glory to glory. You have to see first in your mind the things you desire
for your life, and create them.
Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have power and create realities.
The quickest way to affect your
thoughts is through mental pictures.
Every man is the character of his thoughts. Your mind can make you poor or make you rich; it can put you in the place of glory or in a place of
dishonour. The Bible tells us about Lazarus, a righteous man who was a beggar (Luke 16:20-21). When he died, he was carried by the angels to
Abraham's bosom, but he lived and died a beggar, not because that was his destiny, but because that was his
mind-set.
Romans 12:3 says God has given to everyone the measure of faith; so it’s about what you do with your faith. If
Lazarus had projected himself in faith, envisioning his rich heritage as the seed of Abraham, he wouldn't have
remained poor.
Use your mind to focus, and project yourself to your next greater level.
However, don't disdain or berate others who're yet to attain your level of reasoning. Don’t compare yourself with them; rather, understand that
each of us is at a different level of faith, and gifted differently.
How do you think? Jesus often
challenged the Jews to think right. Use your mind correctly, to picture your glorious and victorious life in Christ.

CONFESSION:
My mind is anointed to think right, being the mind of Christ. I think excellent thoughts, and I only see pictures of excellence, success, victory,
and abundance. I focus my mind on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praise worthy. Halleluiah!

FURTHER STUDY:

Your words show what is in your heart.

what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.

HE’S TOO BIG TO BE QUESTIONED “HOW?”

*PASTOR CHRIS*
SUNDAY, JULY 20TH, 2014.

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham (Galatians 3:6-7).

Romans 10:6-8 explains that there’s the righteousness which is of faith, and that righteousness speaks. What
exactly does it speak? Let’s read: “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine
heart,Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the
deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,
and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.”
Notice the underlined portion again; it says concisely, “Don’t ask God ‘How?’”
That’s a principle of faith in the
Kingdom of God. Don’t ask Him how the miracle is going to happen; He’s too big to be asked “How?” Leave the ‘how’ to Him. Stop trying to figure out how your faith will work and produce the miracle you need right now. Your
responsibility is to keep speaking and acting on the Word.
When you want things to happen in a certain way, don’t ask “How is God going to do it?” He’s the God of all flesh; the Monarch of the universe,
there's nothing too hard for Him. He’s your “how!” Don’t ask Him, or try to rationalize how His Word will come to
pass in your life.
Consider Abraham: he believed God and it was accounted to him for
righteousness. The Bible says he made an unqualified committal of himself to God’s Word. Against hope, he believed in hope, that he would become the father of many nations, in line with
God's word to him (Romans 4:18). He was fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was also able to perform
(Romans 4:21).
Rather than ask God “How?” the latter part of Romans 10:8-10 tells us how faith talks: it speaks the same thing with God in consent, and that settles it forever! Faith accepts, believes, endorses, and confesses God’s Word as
absolute truth, and acts accordingly.

CONFESSION:
The word of faith is in my heart, and in my mouth; that's the Word of faith by which I live. I speak the same things in
consent with the Word: I’m victorious, prosperous, healthy, marvelously helped and favoured of the Lord today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Mark 11:23 (CEV) If you have faith in God and don't doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will.
