Have you left Sinai?
|
|
The Word of God has beautiful
descriptions in describing the old and new testaments. One of such is, Mount Sinai for the old testament, and Mount Zion for the new. It's saddening that many believers think that the difference between the old and new testaments is a blank page in their Bibles. My question to you, my friend, today is: Have you left Sinai? What does Sinai represent? Hebrews 12:18-21, 'For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake'. This was the operation of the old testament. It was a dispensation of fear and trepidation! The law did two things; it fueled sin (1 Corinthians 15:56) and it fueled God's anger (Romans 4:15). But, God has brought that to an end! Glory! The present reality is this: Hebrews 12:22-24, 'But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.' The phrase, 'better things' is from the Greek, ' kreittōn'. It means, 'more advantageous, more beneficial to another'. The dispensation of Grace ushered in by Christ is more advantageous to us. The law served to show man his inability to meet up to God's standard. Grace is God's invitation to watch him make his dream come true for your life. It's his call to watch him accomplish in you all that human effort, represented by the law of Moses couldn't do. Grace has brought about a recreation; not a reformation of sinners! We are his workmanship that he ordained in Christ unto good works-Ephesians 2:10! Titus 2:14, 'Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.' This is what God has made us out to be; a people zealous of good works! You cannot dwell on Sinai and Zion at the same time! Dwelling on Sinai frustrates dwelling on Zion; Grace's capitol- Galatians 2:21! The law of Moses has been abolished! A new law has been enacted; the Law of love! It's God's own life walk! Walking in love is all about receiving God's love for you and reflecting same! Walk in love, knowing you are loved! # Grace # Pleroma |

GOD WANTS YOU TO BE ERUDITE

Today is a good day because Jesus has freed you from punishment and restored you to divine favor # grace # righteousness...
Refuse to create an avenue for spirit of excuses in your life, people that give excuse can never produce a good result. Pleasant day to you, yes you, my beloved... ***** Rhapsody Of Realities ***** GOD WANTS YOU TO BE ERUDITE. Tuesday, May 6th . Pastor CHRIS And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15) . In 2 Peter 1:5, when the Apostle Peter said, “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge…” he used the Greek word, “gnosis” for knowledge. “Gnosis” is knowledge that you gain through intellectual activity; knowledge based on science. Therefore, he deals here with mental prowess! God wants you to put your mind to work; become erudite. He wants you to acquire intellectual knowledge, be smart and informed. That’s why He gave you a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When the Holy Ghost comes into your life, you become sound. He brings mental soundness and intellectual sagacity into your life. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the embodiment of all knowledge; meaning that He knows everything about every career, field and discipline, and can pass some of that information to your mind; so that everyday of your life, and in every situation you find yourself, you'll know what to do! Your mind will be active, and your intellectual capability will beat its optimal potential. Knowledge is so important. If you don’t have knowledge, you're going to be a loser, even though you have faith; you’ll be cheated. God said my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This is why you must study. In addition to acquiring revelation knowledge, God also wants you to have scholastic wisdom. He wants you to be able to deal wisely and excellently in the affairs of life. This becomes a reality as you meditate constantly on His Word: “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success”(Joshua 1:8). PRAYER Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the inspiration, comfort, counsel, guidance and wisdom I receive from your Word today and always! Your Word has made me wise unto salvation, teaching and guiding me to deal wisely in all affairs of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 11:9; 1 Timothy 4:15-16. CONFESS THIS: MY HEART IS FLOODING WITH WISDOM
AND GREAT UNDERSTANDING,MY MIND IS ILLUMINED TO KNOW AND TAKE HOLD OF MY INHERITANCE IN CHRIST JESUS...HALLELUJAH. Good morning beloved, and do have a favoured and most blessed day... ***** Rhapsody Of Realities ***** UNDERSTANDING THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD. Monday, May 5th. Pastor CHRIS Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth… (John16:13) . Prior to His ascension, the Lord Jesus said to His disciples, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now” (John16:12). He said this, not because He was hiding certain things from them, but because they couldn't receive those things at the time. Jesus reserved the job of taking us further into the deep mysteries and revelations of God for the Holy Spirit. That’s what we read on our opening verse. The disciples had to wait until He came before they could understand most of what Jesus talked about. What were these things? The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, chronicle the life of the Son of God in the flesh; all what He did before He went to the cross; the healings and miracles that He performed. Now, the Bible tells us why these were written: “…these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name” (John 20:31). They were written to people who didn’t have the life of God, and didn't have the revelation of Jesus as the Son of God. If you observe, the Gospels didn’t quite tell us why Jesus had to die on the cross, or why He was raised from the dead. Those who lived at the time didn’t under stand these things. Remember that Peter rebuked the Lord for saying He was going to die (Mark 8:31-32). The Holy Spirit had to come to unveil the deep things of God to us. 1 Corinthians 2:10 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” Through the Holy Spirit, we discover the things that have been freely given to us in Christ Jesus. While the Gospels spoke about the person of Jesus, the Epistles, beginning from the Book of Romans, talk about us— who we are in Christ—our abilities and heritage in Him! They show you God’s picture of you as a new creation, born of the Spirit, and superior to the devil and all the principles of this world. Halleluiah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for flooding my heart with wisdom, and granting me the understanding of spiritual realities! My mind is illumined by the Holy Spirit to know, and take a hold of, my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:15. When you stick to the Word,, you will come back with a testimony...
Good morning beloved of God....Breakfast is served. ***** Rhapsody Of Realities ***** MAKING YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS. Sunday, May 4th. Pastor CHRIS This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). God wants you to prosper in every area of your life, for He delights in the prosperity of His children (Psalm 35:27). 3 John 1:2 reveals the Spirit’s wish for you to prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. In Christ Jesus, you’ve come into a rich heritage; a place of divine favour. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that the Lord has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness. Indeed, when you received Christ you were automatically catapulted into a glorious realm of prosperity and became an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). However, Galatians 4:1 says, "...the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all...." In other words, though you’re a joint heir with Christ, and all of God’s wealth and inestimable riches belong to you, you have to grow in the Word unto maturity to enjoy the benefits of your inheritance. This is where meditating on the Word and putting it to work in your life comes to play. As you meditate on the Scriptures, the Word is seasoned in your spirit, such that you think, talk, and live the Word. The Bible shows this to us as the way to make your way prosperous: it’s by meditating on the Word, and observing to do what it says. Now, this isn’t just referring to financial prosperity, but prosperity all- round; in every aspect of your life. The Apostle Paul, in 1 Timothy 4:15, reiterated the same truth: "meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all." When you meditate on God’s Word, your progress, advancement, prosperity, success will spread abroad, and be evident for all to see. This means that the extent of your success and prosperity is entirely dependent on you. To prosper in all you do—in your job, family, health, finances, marriage, etc— continually meditate on the Word. This is His divine road map for true and lasting prosperity. PRAYER I thank you, precious heavenly Father, for my great heritage in Christ; thank you for setting me up for a life of endless victories, and sustained prosperity! As I study and meditate on your Word, my success and prosperity are evident, and spread abroad, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Yes, it is hard right now but I have to
make it, I dont have a choice... I CHOSE TO MAKE THE REST OF MY LIFE THE BEST OF MY LIFE. Happy weekend my great beloved... RHAPSODY OF REALITIES *BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR SPIRITUALITY!* SATURDAY, MAY 3RD For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) In Christ, we’ve been born into a real, authentic, functional spiritual kingdom. That’s where we live right now. We live in, and carry out our everyday activities from that spiritual kingdom. However, to enjoy the blessings that belong to you in that realm of life, you’re required to have adequate knowledge of the Word and understand spiritual principles of the Kingdom of God. Many Christians are not yet fully conscious that they’re in a spiritual kingdom; they’re only conscious of that which exists in the physical realm. Such, for example, are hardly conscious of the myriads of angels around and with us. They’re yet to take advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as He speaks to them from within, and seeks to guide them in all the affairs of life; hence, they live ordinary lives. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Gospel of the spiritual life. Romans 6:11 says, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be…alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” In other words, reckon yourselves to be alive to the realm of the spirit; alive to the things of God—beyond the sense realm. The Bible says “…to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ has passed from death unto life; which means you’ve been automatically transferred from the domain of darkness, to the domain of life. The Bible calls it the “Kingdom of His dear Son” (Colossians 1:13); you live in that Kingdom now: though you’re in the world, but you’re not of this world. Therefore, you can’t afford to live by the principles of this physical world. True and lasting success is spiritual, and it’s based on spiritual principles. Become conscious of the spiritual realm, and control things from that realm. When you focus on, and function from, the realm of the spirit, nothing in this physical world will be able to hinder your success, and victories in life. CONFESSION I see and experience possibilities, victories and success only, as I keep my gaze on the Word of God; my affections are set only on the realities of the spiritual kingdom to which I belong. I live, and walk, in the full consciousness of all that belong to me in Christ Jesus. Glory to His Name forever! FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. CHRIST : THE GLORY -LIFE!

RELIGION; a guy in church thinking about fishing.
RELATIONSHIP; a guy out fishing thinking about God. Pleasant morning to you and do have a fruitful day. God bless and protect you. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, MAY 2ND CHRIST : THE GLORY -LIFE! Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There’re people who say, “I believe in Jesus Christ, but He's not the only Messiah.”Any one who professes or upholds this belief is ignorant of the Scriptures, for the Word of God is clear: salvation comes by no other way, through no other name, except by the name Jesus! You can’t believe in Jesus Christ, and still believe there's “another” way; He’s the ONLY way! He said,“…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”(John14:6). Notice, He didn't say, “I am a way,” but, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” He was both definite and emphatic! It’s wrong therefore to say there’re other ways to God, apart from Jesus Christ. Romans 1:4 tells us that Jesus Christ was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. No one else has been so described in all of history, only the Lord Jesus. The Scriptures firmly declare was raised from dead, and He’s alive forevermore. There’s no book in the world that declares any religious leader to be alive, after death—none. When they died, they were finished. Only Jesus died, was buried, and was raised back to life by the glory of the Father, and physically levitated to heaven in His glorified bodily form. Christianity isn't among them any religions in the world to join, because it isn't a religion. It’s the pulsating life of the risen Christ in the human body. It’s divinity alive in humanity; it's Christ taking up His abode in the quarters of your heart. So, in Christianity, you don't come into “a religion”; you come into Christ! You embraced the transcendent life of dominion, excellence, power, righteousness, and boundless joy that's only available in Him. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the eternal salvation you've made available in Christ Jesus, the Great Shepherd; My life is founded in Him. I pray that today, many will receive that grace of God, which has brought salvation to all men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. THE ANOINTING OF THE SPIRIT

THE ANOINTING OF THE SPIRIT
"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me BECAUSE he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the LORD." Luke 4:18-19 Many People who have been anointed with the Holy Ghost dont know the reason God anointed them.A greater number of believers all around the world think the Holy Ghost is primarily to help them speak in tongues but thats not his primary purpose. JESUS said, "But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me..." Acts 1:8 God didnt say ye shall receive tongues, he said ye shall receive power and one of the things this power does it to energise you to speak in tongues. God has anointed us so that we can be effective witnesses of his ressurection. God would have us produce more than enough evidence to the world to prove the reality of the gospel. We are not anointed to just shake and fall on the ground like maniacs. No, a thousand times no. Many people who shake and fall claiming to do all this because of the anointing, demonstrate the least power. They dont preach to anyone, they dont heal the sick or cast out devils. These folks are misinformed about the anointing. The Holy Ghost has come to live in us to enable us to do the acts of God. He is the one that continues the ministry of JESUS in the earth today and he works through us and with us. We are married to his vision. We are carriers of God. That portion is not saying God has anointed us so that we can start to deliver ourselves, and heal ourselves, casting out devils from ourselves. No, we have Christ in us not devils. If you believe this message i am telling you, THAT CHRIST IS IN YOU AND YOU DONT HAVE DEVILS,even if you had a legion of devils after you, they would all leave you at once and you would go out and start casting out devils from sinners today. We are free people who are sent to preach freedom, we are healthy people who are sent to preach healing, we are rich people who are sent to preach to the poor. We are not captives, we are God's free men called to set the captives free. Many Preachers tell their flock that they are anointed to set the captives free and in reference their flock are the ones who are captives. This is very erroneous. if you are born again and have the Holy Ghost you are not a captive. Any Pastor ,Prophet or Evangelist when speaking to the saints should stand on Eph 4:11 That says ,he is called "for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edification of the body of Christ". All Christians should practise Luke 4:18-19 to sinners. These are the captives. We are anointed to bring them into the kingdom. It takes power to do that. People who are on fire for God are not those who shake and fall in church trying to get the attention of the people as if God is doing a wonder through them. Most of these folks dont even give a tithe in church. People who are on fire for God are known for declaring the gospel. You can not be on fire for God and be quiet about JESUS. |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
THURSDAY, MAY 1ST PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FROM DISTRESS ... TO GREATNESS "...Every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men" (1 Samuel 22:2). Our opening verse describes the condition of the Isrealites who gathered themselves unto David; a rendezvous of broken people; they were down and out when they came to David. They were behind in their finances, dissatisfied, unhappy, uncomfortable and discontented. These were the men that gathered unto David. Before then, David had been anointed by the Spirit, through Samuel the Prophet (1 Samuel 16:12-13). These men gathered to him, because they knew the anointing of God was on him. They knew that the anointing of the Spirit could change their situation for good. When you read further into the twenty-third chapter of first Samuel, you'd find that, several years later, their hitherto disgruntled state had changed. From being in distress, debt, and discontent, they became David's mighty men (2 Samuel 23:8). When it was time to give for the building of the temple, these same men who were once in debt, had become so prosperous, and gave bountifully for the construction of the Temple (1 Chronicles 29:6-7). The same thing happens today as we minister the Word to many around the world. Those who receive the Word we share, no matter how miserable and dire their circumstances had been, the Word takes them out of obscurity to greatness. The anointing is on the Word to transform lives and set men up for greatness. It reminds me of when we first started out years ago. Those who came to us were those who some thought were too carnal, broken, dejected or lost to be transformed. However, we had the anointing that made the difference. Today, their stories have changed, and the same people are doing great and mighty things for the Lord all around the world. Isaiah 32:15, says, "Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest." The Holy Spirit brings the anointing into your life and makes you productive, through the Word. He turns your wilderness into a fruitful field; He causes water to spring up from your desert. With the Holy Spirit, your experience will be that of productivity, growth, increase, expansion and progress in every area of your life! CONFESSION The Lord has set me apart for greatness! The anointing that I've received abides in me forever, teaches me all things, and makes me fruitful and productive in all my endeavours, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY 1 Samuel 2:7-8 The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them. 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY
DEVOTIONAL::::::::::::::: IT'S YOUR NATURE TO LOVE!...! WEDNESDAY-:¤30TH-:¤APRIL-:¤2014 WITH*«PASTOR ANITA OYAKHILOME*» A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another {John 13:34}. In the Old Testament, God gave the Israelites several commandments, which they had to obey as a condition for enjoying the blessings of the covenant. However, when Jesus came, He brought in a new ommandment, which is love. He said, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another" (John 13:34). He gave this commandment before His crucifixion. He commanded His disciples to love one another because love, for them, was an outside force. Thus, He had to give them a law to walk in love. But then, the Bible tells us something striking in 1 Timothy 1:9, that "…the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers...." Now, after giving His disciples the love commandment, He proceeded to die on the cross for us, and God raised Him back to life. "… Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee" (Hebrews 5:5). Today, everyone who believes in Him receives eternal life, and becomes a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). In Him, we’ve been made the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21), so the law isn’t applicable to us because it was made for the unrighteous, but we are righteous. By making us new creations, He made it possible for us to receive the Holy Spirit, and the Bible says, "…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:5). Love isn’t alien to us; it’s not an outside force; it’s our nature to love. If you’re born again, you’re born of love; the Father has deposited His love in your heart; therefore, you can love the same way He does, for it’s your nature to love. PRAYER::::::} Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your blessed Word and its power in my life. Thank you for your love-nature in me, which makes it natural for me to walk in love and manifest your love to others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY:::::: John 15:12(KJV) 12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (GNT) 12 My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you. (AMP) 12 This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. Romans 13:10(KJV) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (GNT) 10 If you love others, you will never do them wrong; to love, then, is to obey the whole Law. (AMP) 10 Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law. LIVE IN, AND BY,THE WORD.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY
DEVOTIONAL LIVE IN, AND BY,THE WORD. TUESDAY,APRIL 29TH,2014. ~Pastor Anita. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls (James 1:21). The only material given to you to build your life is God’s Word. There’s no hope for anyone who ignores the Word, for the Word of God is life. Proverbs 13:13 says “Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.” To ignore the Word is to set one’s self up for extreme disadvantage in life. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” You need the knowledge of the Word to be effective in life and know all that’s been made available to you in Christ Jesus. Acts 20:32 says, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. ” There’s no other way: the Word of God is the only means through which faith—the God kind of faith—can be imparted to your spirit. Every Christian must open his heart to hear and receive the Word. Our opening verse admonishes that we “… receive with meekness the engrafted word….” Those who ignore the Word have their joy short-lived. If you ever find yourself unhappy, unfulfilled or disoriented, stay in the Word; interpret and respond to situations on the basis of God’s Word. Have a rapacious appetite for the Word, and apply it to your personal life. Always, make adjustments in your life in line with the counsel and wisdom you receive from the Word. The Word is for you to live by; we’re Word practitioners; we do what the Word says. That’s the way to experience the blessing of the Word in your life. James 1:22 says, “Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only.” Living in, and by, the truth of God’s Word means you’ve set yourself up for an eternal journey of glory and success. PRAYER. My heart is open to receive the engrafted Word with meekness, faith, and gladness. The Word is effectual in me today, producing the fruit of what it talks about, changing me, and ordering the circumstances of life to align with God’s purpose and destiny for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY. Romans 12:2(CEV). Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. James 1:25(CEV). But you must never stop looking at the perfect law that sets you free. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget. Rhapsody Of
Realities Daily Devotional Faith Receives Now! - Monday April 28th, 2014 - Pastor Chris Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:24). The Bible says that God knows what's in your heart; He knows what you need, even before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8). Now, if He knew your requests before you asked, it means He also already had the answer prepared. However, He requires your faith to make that answer real to you. The responsibility to receive is yours. Faith isn't just based on asking, but also on receiving. Mark 11:24 says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Many know how to ask, but they don't know how to receive. At the point of asking in prayer, you're to believe that you've received what you've asked for; that's faith! But if you're hoping that God will answer your prayer someday, that won't work, even though you believe it. So take possession now; declare that the healing, blessing or miracle you desire is yours now! Faith receives now! You say, "Father, I've asked for such-and-such, and I receive it NOW in the Name of Jesus." Remember that you don't have to see what you've received with your physical eyes first to know they're already yours; once you've taken possession with your spirit, soon enough, they'll show up physically. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the title deed of unseen realities. In other words, faith calls real and done that which you hope for. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." That means the things you hoped for are now your present-hour possessions. Faith doesn't try to get something to happen; rather, faith knows and accepts that it has happened, and confesses and endorses it to be so now. Faith takes possession NOW! CONFESSION: My faith is producing results; I walk in divine health, victory, dominion, and in the power of the Spirit today. I'm who God says I am, I have what He says I have, and I can do what He says I can do. My faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Rhapsody Of
Realities Daily Devotional Faith Receives Now! RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY
DEVOTIONAL A NEW LIFE OF GLORY AND EXCELLENCE. Sunday,April 27th .Pastor Chris. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee (Psalm 2:7). 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” A literal reading of this verse would give an impression of the new creation as one who was called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, meaning he had a past of darkness. This, however, isn’t true as the new creation in Christ Jesus never existed before, and therefore has no past. The idea of the new creation having a past is mostly common amongst Christians, who look at it from the standpoint of “Once, I was a sinner, and now I’m a saint; once I was under the power of Satan, but now I’m free to serve God.” However, as you grow in the knowledge of the Word of God, you’ll discover that when you were born again, you weren’t taken from the hands of Satan and put in the hands of God; you’re actually a new creation. You’re not the man that was in the darkness; that man actually died with Christ. You were born into His marvellous light. Observe our opening verse closely. Notice it didn’t say, “Thou art my son; this day have I raised thee back to life” no! It says, “Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee,” meaning, “… this day I have given birth to you.” It wasn’t a continuation of the old life. When Jesus died, He died in the spirit, that’s why He’s called the first begotten from the dead (Revelation 1:5), not the first to be raised from the dead. The Apostle Paul declared in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “…if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” Being born again, you’re a new creation; a new species—recreated in Christ Jesus and brought into a newness of life: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). No wonder the Bible says in Colossians 3:10, “…put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.” The life in you transcends this earthly realm; it’s the life of Christ—life beyond this world—a new life of success, glory and excellence. Walk in this consciousness today. CONFESSION. I’m a new creation. I’ve put off the old man with his deeds and I’ve put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge after the image of God. Therefore, my life is one of success, glory, and excellence. Thank you for enlightening my spirit to know and live in the immeasurable and unlimited greatness of your power in me! LIVE FOR HIM!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH PASTOR ANITA OYAKHILOME LIVE FOR HIM! I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20). Believing in the Lord Jesus means you can’t live for yourself anymore, but for Him. This understanding informed the Apostle Paul’s statement in our opening verse. When you were born again, you were actually crucified with Christ; you died in Him, and the life you have now isn’t yours, for He bought you with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20, 1 Corinthians 7:23). 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead. And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” Having this mind-set will help you set your priorities right as a Christian. Being a Christian is more than being blessed by God or having all the nice things in the world; that’s living for oneself. Mark 8:36-37 says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” In other words, why would you want to live a life that profits you nothing before the Lord? Refuse to be distracted or carried away by the world’s symbols of prosperity; live for the Lord and be committed to fulfilling His will for your life. Colossians 3:2 says, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” The things that should matter to you in this life should be things pertaining to the Gospel. In Galatians 6:14, the Apostle Paul made a very inspiring statement; he said, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Like the Apostle Paul, consider that you’re dead to this world, and the world is dead to you. Therefore, you shouldn’t live for yourself any more but for the Lord, because you died in Him. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the entrance of your Word has given me insight and understanding. My heart and focus are on you; you’re my help, my strength and exceeding great reward. My delight is in you, O Lord my God, and forevermore I will do your will, in Jesus’ Name, Amen. FURTHER STUDY Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. ; Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Called To Sanctify

Rhapsody Of
Realities Daily Devotional Called To Sanctify . Friday, April 25th . Pastor Chris But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). What a profound scripture. It says, besides wisdom, righteousness, and redemption (riddance), Christ is also made sanctification to us. The word “sanctification” refers to the act or process of making holy or setting apart unto God for His eternal purpose. It’s translated from the Greek word “hagiasmos,” which means, “a purifier.” So, the sanctifier has come to live in you. Christ is not there trying to sanctify you; no! He has sanctified you, and continues to sanctify everything you do. He’s your separator; He has separated you from the rest of the world, from sin and evil, unto the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Yesterday, we learnt about activating wisdom by speaking wisdom; in the same way, you’re also required to speak your sanctification, that is, words that cleanse. That’s why the Apostle Paul said, “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4:4-5). You can purify or sanctify anything that belongs to you with the Word of God and prayer. The Lord Jesus said in John 15:3, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” Christ has gone to heaven, and we’re the ones bearing those wonderful cleansing Words to our world today. As we speak, people are purified; they’re cleansed, and moved from one level of glory to another! 1 Corinthians 2:13 says, “Which things also we speak….” We’ve got to keep speaking words of blessings, to cleanse and sanctify our environment and our world. You’ve been called to an extraordinary life of beauty, of glory, and of a supernatural walk with God, because Christ—the sanctifier—is in you! He’s one with your spirit now (1 Corinthians 6:17); and through you, He’s carrying out His ministry of sanctifying all things to Himself. Prayer Dear heavenly Father, I rejoice today in Christ, who is my sanctifier! I thank you for sending Jesus to bear my sins, present me holy and unblameable before you, and make my life beautiful! Thank you for making me the very epitome of your grace, and the testimony of your love and goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further Study: Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: ; 1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ACTIVATE HIS WISDOM IN YOU.

***** Rhapsody Of Realities *****
ACTIVATE HIS WISDOM IN YOU. Thursday, April 24th. Pastor CHRIS But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). What Paul communicates in our opening verse is different from saying “Christ Jesus has made me wise.” Through the Holy Spirit, he communicated a deeper truth, which is that Christ Jesus is made unto you wisdom. He didn’t just make you wise, He’s your wisdom. How big this is! It means your capacity is now the wisdom of Christ; your wisdom reservoir is Christ, so you could never lack wisdom. The question then is, “how do you activate the wisdom of God in you?” First, you have to study the Scriptures. If you don’t know the Scriptures, you can’t activate the wisdom of God. The Bible says, “Deep calleth unto deep…” (Psalm 42:7). So, the more of God’s Word you have in you, through intense study and meditation, the more connection you’ll have with the wisdom of God. If you don’t deposit the wisdom of God in you (and the Word of God is the wisdom of God), you won’t know how to tap into it when there’s a need. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 says “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” To have the wisdom of God released in your life, you must declare that you have, and operate in, the wisdom of God. You must speak the wisdom of God. If you ever find yourself in a fix, then say, “Lord, thank you for your wisdom that’s in me to handle this situation.” Life will be easy and sweet when you take advantage of the wisdom of God for every situation. When you face challenges, ask yourself, “What’s the wisdom of God concerning this matter?” and then go into sessions of meditation on the Scriptures and praying in tongues. As you do, wisdom will come to you, and propel you to say or do what is exactly right to put you over in that situation. Christ has been made unto you wisdom to excel, reign and win every day in life. Have this consciousness. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for Christ who is my wisdom; as I study and meditate on your Word, light floods my spirit; my path is illumined to take steps in wisdom, such that I walk consistently in your will, plans, and purpose for my life. My life is a harvest of divine joy, peace, prosperity, health and promotions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: James 3:17; James 3:13. CAPTURE HIS "THINKINGS"
|
|
Rhapsody of Realities
PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23RD CAPTURE HIS "THINKINGS" He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. Psalms 103:7 There're certain thoughts I like to describe as the "thinkings" of God; the way He reasons. He doesn't think the way men do, so, it's important to know how He thinks and why He thinks the way He does. What are the thoughts on His mind? Of course, when you look in the Word of God, you can get the answer to this question. For instance, humans think that morning and evening make one day. They think the day starts when they wake up in the morning, and ends when they go to sleep at night; but God thinks differently. Every time the Word of God made direct reference to a full day, God would always say "evening and morning." For example, in Genesis 1:5, God said, "...And the evening and the morning were the first day." He doesn't relate from light to darkness. Rather, He thinks from darkness into light; from evening into morning (read Genesis 1:8, 13, 19, 23, 31). No wonder He says, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18). Observe He didn't say, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more from morning into evening." Men think that the day ends with evening, but God says, "No; your day goes into morning!" isn't that wonderful! He reasons so differently; and we're the ones who need to come up to His ways of thinking. If you're born again, you're born of His Spirit. Then, the Bible says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" (Galatians 5:25). We're not only born of the Spirit, but have also been called to walk in the realms of the Spirit of God. To do this, we have to be spiritually minded. Our thinking has to become the "thinkings" of God; it has to be on the level of the Word of God, not on the ordinary plane of life. We need to learn and meditate on His Word so that we can capture His thoughts and His ways of doing things. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 says, "...we have the mind of Christ." Therefore, it's possible for us to reason at the same frequency with Him. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for flooding my heart with your divine thoughts, as I study and meditate on your Word today. My mind is sanctified to think at your level, and improve the quality of my life, as I walk in your ways, with my spirit conditioned for progress, prosperity and excellence, in Jesus' Name. Amen. HEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: AN INTEGRAL PATH TO GREATNESS. Tuesday, April 22nd. Pastor CHRIS Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning (Proverbs 9:9). At the beginning of the year, the Lord said to us that 2014 is our “Year of Greatness.” There’re certain things you have to know to function in greatness as the Lord has said. One of them is holding fast to instructions. Heeding divine instructions is an integral path to greatness. Joshua 3 tells us how the Israelites camped by the Jordan, waiting to cross the river. There, God spoke to Joshua, Moses’ successor, who was charged with the task of leading the children of Israel into the Promised Land. The Lord said to him, “…This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee” (Joshua 3:7). Then, in the very next verse, He gave Joshua an important instruction: “And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan” (Joshua 3:8). Proverbs 4:13 says, “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.” Often times, God’s instructions may not sound logical, just like when He told Isaac, to stay back in Gerar at a time of famine and hardship. Everyone else was moving to Egypt, but God instructed Isaac to stay where he was. Isaac heeded and prospered in that land, in the same year of drought and famine. Genesis 26:13 tells us that he waxed great, made progress, grew until he became very great. He prospered so much that the Philistines envied him. God’s ways are different from man’s ways and that’s why it’s important to listen and follow His instructions and counsel. Never try to reason out His instructions in your head, for His wisdom is greater than man’s wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:25 tells us, “…the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” Think about that. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me the importance of responding quickly to your instructions and counsel. I wholeheartedly follow and respond to the guidance from your Word and the Holy Spirit on every detail of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:13; Proverbs 10:17; Luke 5:5-7. PASTOR ANITA MONDAY, APRIL 21ST HE HAS MADE YOU A BLESSING And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Genesis 22:18 In Genesis 12:2 God spoke to Abraham and said, "...I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing." You'd observe that this was entirely God's idea. Abraham didn't ask to be great; it was God's dream for him. It's also important to note that God wanted to make Abraham great so that he (Abraham) could be a blessing. Having been born again, you're the seed of Abraham and that means not only are you blessed, you're also a blessing. God wants others to benefit from your blessing. He already said to Abraham, "...in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed..." Therefore, it's your calling to be a blessing to your world; it's your inheritance to effect positive changes in this world! You're in this world as an agent of change. Therefore, think of ways to positively impact the world of your time. Many of God's people agree that God has blessed them, but they need to catch the revelation that they're the embodiment of a blessing! Galatians 3:29 says "...If ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." To be in Christ means you're born again, and as a result, all the blessings of Abraham are now your present-hour possessions. You're a bundle of blessings! You're the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16); that makes you the embodiment of the fullness of the blessings of God. That's why it's a blessing in itself to those you meet, because you carry the blessing of the Gospel. Have this consciousness, and do something today to bless your world. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for making me the embodiment of divine blessing, such that everything I lay my hands upon prospers, with everyone I meet receiving an impartation of blessings. THE ESSENCE OF HIS VICARIOUS DEATH. Sunday, April 20th. Pastor CHRIS For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living (Romans 14:9). The Bible lets us know that God laid our sins, along with our sicknesses and diseases on Jesus. He became that brazen serpent Moses raised up in the wilderness, which He Himself had prophesied about "...as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up" (John 3:14). The brazen serpent represented sin and its judgment. He died on the cross, and to confirm He was truly dead, a soldier thrust a spear through His side, causing blood and water to gush out. Suddenly, the rocks began to crack; the earth heaved and quaked, and darkness eclipsed the earth for three hours. Jesus was dead! He had been made "sin": "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin…" (2 Corinthians 5:21). He descended into hell. He engaged Satan and his cohorts in a spiritual combat, defeated them, and made a public spectacle of them. Jesus triumphed over Satan for all humanity! After three days, the Son of God came out of the grave victorious. Now, all who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord, become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), with the eminent title of being His "brothers and sisters" (John 20:17). This is what Easter means to us; it’s the celebration of the significance of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection; He came to die that we may live. Following His vicarious death for us, we’re now bona fide children of God, superior beings, born with His very nature and life! Halleluiah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your love, grace, and infinite kindness. I’m eternally grateful for the salvation which I’ve received in Christ Jesus— my eternal Hero, Champion, and Lord —in whom I have redemption through His blood, and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace! Thank you Lord for making me one with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
