Who remembers Mr. Perfect?

I liked how they showed him shoot a basketball the first time and make it.

Then they show other things and he would do it so perfect for the first time.

I think he even spit out his gum but managed to swat it with his hands away at the same time.

I know, I know disgusting.

Why do I remember this wrestler so well?

Anyway Mr. Perfect had a perfect score in wrestling until some of the bigger wrestlers ensured to stop it short.

I always found the "Mr Perfect" name to be a bit of a contradiction.

As perfect as he claimed to be, he never won the WWF World championship, nor did he have a long term main event feud.

However, I always respected his wrestling ability and his ability to deliver good matches. He was a good wrestler to watch. It's a shame he had to die so young of a crack overdose.

I haven't had the chance to see him wrestle yet, but they say his son, Joe Hennig, has the goods.

pro wrestling is no worse than any other t.v. show. Most shows on t.v. are fake, this just happens to be fake sports not comedy or drama (although it uses both frequently) so if you look at is as a t.v show not a sport it is alright

I respect your opinion, but I'm one of those fans that likes to think of it as a sport.

Well aren't you all high and mighty. OH GAWD I don't watch pro wrestling cuz it's fake. That last movie u saw was that real ? How about that last episode of 24 or lost ?? real ??? is JAck bauer a real person ??? NO NO AND NO !!!! it is entertainment plain and simple. Can these guys get hurt YES. do they do some amazing things ? YES. That is all. No one in their right mind thinks that stuff is real any way.

That's my point exactly...if I wasn't so tired, I would expand a little about this.

Half the people that moan about wrestling being fake regularly tune into their weekly reality show...which is...wait for it....just as fake.

Interesting. I know that wrestling is fake and I don't watch reality shows.

It was just an example.

I was referring specifically to people who bash it for being fake and then watch their favorite reality show.

The point I was trying to make was not who bashes wrestling, it was that virtually anything seen on TV nowadays is fake, whether it be movies, weekly dramas, sci-fi (which I'm a huge fan of) or the like.

Thay big Hollywood stunt explosion is probably about as far fetched as it gets, yet many of the same people who gripe about wrestling are standing around the water cooler in the morning raving about how cool the explosion in the previous nights movie was.

Is anyone else excited on the new batman game comming out? i think it might actually be good.

I'd be more excited if I wasn't sidetracked by my ****ing printer problems!!!!!!!!!mad frustrated rant

But, yeah, this game is on my radar, and is one I'll have to try out.

The print heads are still out of alignment. You gotta do a complete print head test on your printer-

That's when your printer prints out a series of test patterns and you gotta chose the pattern that is most correct. After going through a couple of tests, your computer should then be calibrated.

I did the test...one or two of the patterns looked identical and it was impossible to differentiate...Could that be why it's doing this?

Also note that in almost five years since I brought the printer I've never had it cleaned.

indifferent And just now, my printer is emitting this awful scratchy sound...****ing thing is doomed.frustrated

Ok, I just fracked it up worse...To recap, I put new ink in my printer today, but prinouts were crooked...I tried to realign the heads. The result: Slightly less crooked, but still tilted, and now certain lines are slightly blurred.

OH NO...I may have worsened the problem...It's still crooked, only now, certain lines are wiggly...WTF??

This only happens to me.mad

I'd be cranky too if I were their age and receiving the "respect" that most people under the age of 50 treat the elderly these days.

I'm going to be one of those evil old ladies that everyone avoids like the plague, lol.

I'm a person who opens doors for elderly women. Old people need to start putting that acquired wisdom they're supposed to have collected through the centuries to good use and stop generalizing.laugh

She was just having g a cranky old lady day

That's not even the worse I've been treated by an elderly woman. One morning, I was waiting at a bus stop with an elderly woman who insisted upon telling me of her grandson's apparently "whore" girlfriend in a thick Ukrainian accent. I tried to be polite while I desperately scanned the streets for an oncoming bus. Finding none, I turned back to the old woman, smiling and nodding my head while wondering how to get out of the situation.

Then without warning, she became hostile. "Look at you," she sneered in a voice I could barely understand. "You look like a toothpick. What woman would even want you??" Pushing aside my first impulse (which was to make a crude remark about the huge goiter on the woman's face that looked like a second head), I walked away smiling, although my eyes probably told a more hostile story. I actually decided to walk to get where I was going rather than be in this individual's company for thirty more seconds.

It turned out rather well for me. Turns out it was a holiday (I'd forgotten) and the buses weren't running. The old woman might be standing there still.

Another time, I was at the head of a long line at the bank, and was called up. But the voice echoed weirdly, and I initially thought the teller was to the left (she was to the right). While I was distracted, this 80-year old woman sheepishly cuts around me to the teller. I had to curtail the impulse to take target practice at her head with my shoe. I've a good feeling that I would have hit the bullseye too!laugh

What the hell is it with these people? I was standing in line at a Tim Horton's restaurant yesterday. There was one line but two registers. Abruptly, this wrinkled and very bitter old woman waiting for the register on the right turns to me and growls, "Don't you DARE go ahead of me in line!" While I looked at her in shock, two people entered and cut in front of me to go to the register on the left while I was distracted.

I didn't make a big deal about it, but what is wrong with these people? Who would be so petty as to cut ahead of another person in line? I am sick of dealing with roaches. I should have an anal evacuation in the honor of all roaches.

I always found Bobby Heenan to be one of the most entertaining.

A few Heenan anachronisms:

When questioned on whether he was racially biased, "I don't discriminate; I hate everyone equally."

Regarding a woman's emotional reaction to Randy Savage and Elizabeth getting back together at WrestleMania VII: "Maybe her shoes are on too tight."

Responding to a suggestion by Gorilla Monsoon that he see his "occulist": "Why? There's nothing wrong with my feet."

Regarding fan enthusiasm, "I can't hear you, it's too loud! You're gonna have to ask some of them to leave!"

Paul Orndorf - the creator of the PILE DRIVER
The Bushwackers - loved the suspenders and dance.

What was the Iron Skiek's tag team partner's name???

For the record, Bill Longson was the first wrestler known to have used the piledriver, way back in the 1930s.

Iron Sheik's WWF tag championship partner in 1985-87 was Nikolai Volkoff.
You have been around since the thirty's ...Or you like Rassling as much as i like porn

Lol, I consider the research of wrestling history to be my primary hobby/pastime.

I've been dedicated to its study for thirteen years.
