** Be forewarned, this is a rant against those who are attatched to a penis **
Another one of my dear friends just told me she is getting divorced. Why you ask? Oh, because her husband of 25 years has decided he needs to dittle with a younger model. What IS it with these men and their stupid midlife crisis? In my world, everyone I know who is divorced has suffered this lifechanging situation at the hands of the man who promised to love and cherish her until death do you part. Not ONE woman I know initiated or perpetuated a divorce. UGGGHH MEN! Who needs em? I'm beginning to think we are better off without them. Why do we continue to expect anything different? The male species is clearly not meant for commitment. |

Some of us are and have suffered the same fate as women. This makes us so "selective" we put ourselves out of the dating world altogether it seems.

Not all men are cheaters. Not fair to blame and entire sex on a few men.May be you think the women have not caused any problems, but how do you really know that?
I have been hurt by a few men ,but that doesn't mean they are all an bad and I am not going to judge any new man coming into my life because of the actions of a few Duds. |

The male species is clearly not meant for commitment. Why would you judge ALL men by what happens in your world?!! Maybe you should be questioning your world instead...Also, did it ever occure to you that these men in "your world" could not cheat with younger women unless those women were willing participants?.... In my humble opin, you are way off base making negative blanket statements about men when obviously you have not way of knowing what ALL men do..... PS:...Exactly what does "attached to a penis" mean anyway?..... |

Don't be so surprised. Women do this just as much as men. Its just not told. I know of 2 women at this time, who have great husbands. Both are cheating, because they say the exactly the same thing what men are saying about women. Yes marrage is to be forever. But sometimes life is not that way. But people must be honest if it is not working ,for what ever the reason. Be up front tell the other.Let go,an work out a reasonably parting of the ways. But don't just do it for the excitment of it.aAn think the other will always forgive. I am one who won't forget, always forgive. That will help you. But you don't forget.Cause then you are doomed to repete it

Hello. I am attached to a penis. And I have yet to get a divorced, have a midlife crisis, cheat on anybody or dance the rumba.
Not all guys are like that, maybe a large percentage of them, but not all. I would like to think there are still a lot of great guys out there who still believe in taking care of a good woman. But then again, what do I know? |

How often was she sexually active with her husband? The answer is very likely "Not often enough".

You know what "attached to a penis" means.... I did not go to school for nothing. |

See I agree dont classify us all by our worst specimens. Its guys like that who make it difficult for guys like me to date. In my life I have never cheated on a woman nor would I ever and why? Cause that is what we were taught by our parents

Not ONE woman I know initiated or perpetuated a divorce.
Then you must not know very many women. One woman decided to keep a boyfriend on the side after I married her, and she initiated the divorce . . . 3 months after the wedding. Another woman agreed to go to the marriage alter with me. She was a closet lesbian who snapped mentally after the wedding and ran away. She re-appeared long enough to have the marriage annulled (due to her preventing consummation). Another woman physically and mentally abused her husband, leaving him with a 2 inch scar on his left arm when she attacked him. He got away from her, after which she decided to have sex with another guy. . . Her husband was me. I still have that scar on my arm. After my divorce from her, she re-married. One night she shot her current husband, which resulted in her sitting in jail for 6 months. So . . . UGGGHH WOMEN! Who needs em? I'm beginning to think we are better off without them. Why do we continue to expect anything different? The female species is clearly not meant for commitment. |

Ladies, you're not going to like this.
Men don't have mid life crises. What happens is his woman reaches a point in her life when it's unlikely she could have healthy offspring. When that happens a man's evolutionary programming takes over and he starts looking for a woman that can produce healthy offspring. It doesn't matter if he wants more children or not. His programming will still cause him to desire younger women. It's normal, natural and makes perfect sense from a long term survival of his genes point of view. So, a 25 year old man married to a 45 year old woman is more likely to have a "mid life crises" than a 45 year old man married to a 25 year old woman. |

A man can still father healthy children into his 60s or 70s. Why wouldn't he choose the best incubator he can? |
