Becoming angry or getting your feelings hurt because someone cheated is like being offended that bees go from flower to flower. It's our nature to mate with the highest quality DNA we can wrap our naughty bits around and the only thing that'll stop us is self preservation. For men spreading our DNA is easy and costs us little. That's why men desire sleeping with great numbers of women. The more women we sleep with, the more our DNA is spread out. Women, on the other hand, cannot have more children by having more sexual partners and it's only been in the last 100 years or so that giving birth has actually become relatively safe. So, it just makes sense that women would be more selective about their partners. Trying to justify cheating is lame. However, if you know that you cannot get through life without cheating, I suggest you start off each date by informing them of this, so they'll know what to expect. I'm not justifying it, I'm explaining it. Nothing more. |

If you cheat, it's because you chose to cheat. You cannot expect women to just brush it off and not get upset about it, because you feel you cannot stop yourself from cheating. If you have an issue with cheating, be upfront about it from day one. If you're completely honest about your inability to stop cheating and women still get upset about it, that's their fault for thinking it won't happen. |

You can't be serious "they want a sire"???? Women cheat because they are being ignored or neglected.

The problem with this rediculous statement is that if genetics and an innate desire to procure our genetic future were the basis behind cheating, men wouldn't seek out skanky, ignorant women to cheat with. They would be copulating with fertile, superior women. Most men however, cheat with bimbos and whores. |

Women cheat because they are being ignored or neglected.
Oh really? Have you talked to every woman who has ever cheated and learned why she cheated? If you haven't, then your above-quoted claim is speculation. I have an ex-wife who is my ex-wife because she cheated on me, and I was neither ignoring her nor neglecting her. She simply played a game with me. |

Sometimes a man cheats because he simply thinks with his genitals, and he wants to give his flesh what it desires. |

Right now it desires a half dozen of these; What a perfect way to die. |

I study this kind of thing for fun, human behavior, psychology and the like. You should look into it. Very interesting stuff. I'd recomend "The Red Queen, Sex and the evolution of human nature" by Matt Ridly as a good place to start. |

Since the topic is about men, and the dirty dogs we are, let me just say this. My best friend is a dude who has cheated on his ex wife, and countless ex girlfriends. I asked him one day why he did this. See, I know that even when I was tempted, I couldn't go further and actually cheat. We all have been tempted by another. So, what makes me different from him. His answer was pretty simple. He did it cause he loved the thrill of it. It excited him. Deep down, he knew it was wrong. What's funny is that his ex wife cheated on him, and he wents nuts. He felt betrayed. I had to remind him that he had done the same to her, and he hated the feeling of betrayal. Still, he got over it and continued his ways with a couple ex girlfriends (yes, he cheated on them).
And then he met his recent girlfriend. Dude has simply changed his feelings and is totally faithful. He proposed to her a couple weeks ago and she said yes. I honestly believe that he is in love now, and he never was. To me, that is what changed him. He cares and loves this girl so much that he doesn't want to hurt her. That, and maybe he grew up and realized it was time to be serious. All I know is that when he cheated he did it simply cause of the thrill. |

You are taking a few things I said and making into something else I didn't say. I'm explaining evolutionary psychology. And we ARE all the same. We are all humans and therefore share a human nature that has evolved over the years. We are as alike one another as any species is. "We are not unique snowflakes. We are the all singing, all dancing crap of the world." (Fight Club) To think otherwise is pure hubris. Secondly, I never said women should blow it off. What I said was we're human and s**t happens. Get used to it. I also never said all of us will cheat. I've never cheated on anyone. I simply explained why they do when they do and why they may choose not to. |

So, he'll put it almost anyplace. Women pay a higher price and therefore are more selective. Get it? |

Once again, I never said women shouldn't be angry. They have every right to be angry if they were lied to. You said "Becoming angry or getting your feelings hurt because someone cheated is like being offended that bees go from flower to flower." Seems to me you were saying they shouldn't be angry or hurt, because it's just something that happens. |
