they have open the door for a man to declare himself God by claiming that Jesus a Man is God ...this opens the door for The Antichrist a man to declare himself a God thus full filling the prophecy of Revelation

this make it possible that Christianity will fight on the side of The Antichrist and against Jesus

Well is Jesus God, I dont know that I agree with that,.as for revelation, who knows what will happen. and yep anyone can twist people to fight for the wrong things, look at Hitler.

these mates are Australians born and live there now, but we talk over the phone, but in those conversations they also wasn't to fond of "Little Johnny" so I don't know if what they were saying about her had anything to do with their politics and that they just didn't like her because of her political views...but when I heard her speak I couldn't tell one way or the other...in fact to me she sounds Irish

Are your mates city blokes or bush boys.. That can make a big difference to who they like.. Also the city people talk like they are from another country as well, they are very proper..

Well I guess I am not normal, as I really havent bothered with peole claims, when I was younger and found that most christians where more interested in arguing about who was right, I just didnt want to listen to them, it appeared that they where so sure they where right that they douldnt even listen. Thats just sad.
So basically I read the Bible,believed taht god was real and never got involved with dicussins where people argued over who was right, it seemed so pointless.
Well until now, but mainly I come in here as I find it amusing and enjoy it, not to try and change anyones mind.

City people are way different to bush people,
In the bush I think you grow up with different values.
Now remember I am a bush girl so this is only my side, I need a city bloke or girl to get a proper perspective.
But in the country we rely on each other, if there is a bush fire, we fight it together, the firebrigade can be hours away and we all had our own trucks with a pump and water on the back.
If you where bogged your neighbor pulled you out.
If you where harvesting or shearing normally you helped each other with something.
The people you socialised with and shared with where your neighbors, there is no one else near you to talk to , you needed each other to survive.
You grow up knowing how to work as you are part of whateever is going on and work your butt off with your parents, You have to be responsible as you are given responsibilities at a young age. My brother at 9 would be left with the truck with our harvest, and he would sit in line at the silos for hours just moving the truck forward when he needed to. Dad would go back and finish the harvesting.
You care for anyone and anything that needs you and you always make time for others..
In the city I dont see this.
But we do talk differently , normally we dont notice, maybe not exactly like crocodile dundee as they did make him seem a little dumber than we are, but basically when you come from the bush and land in your big cities you can relate to how he felt as it is so very very different.
From the time I was 5 I rode 10 ks up the road on my motorbike, got on the school bus, travelled for an hour and a half to get to the closest school and then did the same thing at the end of the day..
We live slowly , there is no rush, everyone is important and can have my time if they need it, there really is very little that I cannot put aside if i have to.
And in the bush thats just how it is..
so yep we do talk like that up here where I live, not everyone, as there are a lot of people who come in from cities or are brought from overseas as we dont have enough skilled workers here and the city people do talk properly..
We are the mob who dint wear shoes without we have to and wouldnt own a tie or dress up without we are forced to.

I see where you're so defensive to this stuff now. Christians aren't necessarily trying to change anyone's mind. We merely profess our beliefs and proclaim it as it were the truth for sure, just as most any other beliefs do. We state what we BELIEVE you should have faith in. We don't tell you what you HAVE to have faith in.

Honestly if people cannot see my faith in me then what's the use. I am who I am. If someone wanted to talk I would talk and tell them what I can, but I dont have answers. so no way would I try and confuse someone, Gosh I confuse myself at times.
I couls say what i believe, but its a personal thing, not something that i can say you should do this cause I do and I am right..

We aren't told to "preach" the word. All of us can't be "preachers". Preachers are people God calls to be as such, they spread the word to those whom wish to listen, those whom already have knowledge of these scriptures, ect. We're in a discussion forum. Preaching can NOT be done here, for a lot of people in this forum didn't come here specifically to hear the word. They come to 'discuss' religious beliefs. So again, 'preaching' could NEVER be done in this forum. Something a long the lines as 'sermons' could be done. That would involve someone making a thread, to just post various verses on a specific thing. Not 'discuss' those verses. Just merely post them to spread the word, which that would stop fairly soon, for that would be against the forum rules. So again, there is no preaching done here, nor could there be for an extended period of time.

In a discussion, one is spreading the word. Weather that word sinks in to the listeners or not is another question, but regardless the word was spread to them. That is what we are informed to do. Spread the word, not keep God trapped up in our closet(s).

I guess everyones opinions on preaching are different its just how you use the word.
To me I say anyone is preaching at me if they are nagging me to death about something.

It's common here to just say will you quit your preaching if someone tries to tell you what to do.

Hmmm discussing to me is just a chat, and a debate is throwing back and forwards ideas that are opposite to each other.
