They are going to make an attempt on Obama I bet. Hopefully they arent intelligent enough or organized to carry it out. Generally they are stupid, white trash types. |

Wasnt there already a threat made on Obama's life immediately after be became president elect? I cant remember who they ended up tracing it to exactly. See, thats stupid. You dont make a public threat if you plan on assassinating the president of the United States. That sounds like something the Klan would do.

I have $10 on a cut and paste link to the EVIDENCE spider has to support his claims.... courtesy of google.. Who'll give me 3 to 1 odds??? Mocking the use of evidence. Willful ignorance at it's best. They weren't called the National Socialists because they wanted to lower taxes. I'm not labeling the Nazis liberals to insult liberals today, let's remember that it was MirrorMirror who posted the fallacious assertion that the Nazis were right wing conservatives. You need to move, Mirror. The guys that planned to assasinate Obama were from the Nazis in my community. Paul Schlesselman and Daniel Cowart attempted an assassination attempt of over 100 African Americans and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and they were allegedly affiliated with Supreme White Alliance(a white supremacist organization cited in Muhlenberg County) although the leaders of the SWA have denounced all association with the men by stating that neither of the men were ever full members of the group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhlenberg_County,_Kentucky They have a compound here Pretty much everybody in my community hates them and wishes they would disapear. They are an embarressment and a shame on our town, and they lower our property values and keep jobs from coming into our community. They do not represent most people that live in my area. We have done everything legally possible to drive these people out of here. |

Yep 10 commandments .. When it was taught the biggest school problem was chewing gum. Get rid of them.. Chaos right and the black kids were kept from the whites, so we need to go back to that also? People seem to have this fantacy of how the 50s were and it just is not so in reality. |

He was also a major follower of the occult. Which made him a "New Ager". Though this phrase was not coined until much later - he is the poster child for New Age philosophy. What a brilliant piece of semantic sleight of hand.
I haven't seen the shell game played that fast and smooth in quite a while. Okay - what would you call Hitlers interest in astrology, numerology, the "spear of destiny", his search for the holy grail? Do tell - do you have another label for it? Seems to me like "New Age" is new age. If it looks like a rose, smalls like a rose... But you seem to have a better label for it. What would you call it so I can get my semantics right? sounds like you get your history from Indiana Jones movies. |

I think shes talking about that one Indiana Jones movie with the Ark of the covenant remember? I think it was the first one in fact. The Nazis are looking for it, and then they open it, and it melts their faces off.

Yeah I think so and isnt the Holy grail the chalice that Jesus supposedly drank from? We are back to Christianity folks.

I haven't seen the shell game played that fast and smooth in quite a while. I would call it exactly what it was: “Hitler’s interest in astrology, numerology, the "spear of destiny", his search for the holy grail”. I wouldn't try to redefine it to fit my own views. I certainly wouldn’t call it grounds for labeling Hitler “the poster child for the New Age Philosophy.” And I’m fairly certain that no one who considers himself a proponent of the New Age Philosophy would either. So as an expression of prejudicial bias against the New Age Philosophy, it was well stated - right down the party line. And as a textbook case of “Loading the Language” (cf: Lifton thought reform model), it was beautifully executed. Prejudicial Bias? What are you talking about. Having been a "New Ager" (the popular colloq.) it appears that this term has now been redefined - is that what you're getting at? Since - according to you I'm loading the definition - clarify it for me if you would. |

Let's get back on topic..... The real question still remains should a religious ideology such Intelligent Design be taught in a classroom based on science. My answer is no. Intelligent Design has nothing to do with any form of science. Science is about creating a hypothesis or theory and then through research and testing providing facts and evidence to support or disprove such hypothesis or theory. Intelligent Design is just the christian ideological belief that the entire universe was created by a deity in seven days. Last i checked there has been no evidence or scientific proof to support such a theory and therefore it has no place in science class. We have rocks that are carbon dated over 4 billion years old. The genetic diversity in humanity is enough to suggest that over time a species adapts, changes, modifies and evolves to survive changes in the natural conditions of its environment. My question is why is it so hard for christians to consider that it was part of "God's" plan that we evolved from something else? One can still keep their faith and at the same time adapt it to current knowledge and understanding. Remeber people ignorance is something we choose not something we should believe. Imo...just a thought Hate to burst your bubble - but those rocks you are refering to - unverifiable. You cannot prove in a laboratory that those rocks are 4 billion years old using any science. It is a faith based hypothesis utilizing the premise of universality - which is not only unprovable - but can be demonstrated to be false through laboratory testing. What makes you think carbon dating is accurate? Aside from the fact that it is isotropic dating that is used now - since it has been demonstrated that carbon dating is inaccurate and cannot be ****ed on with consistant reliability. |
