Yep 10 commandments .. When it was taught the biggest school problem was chewing gum. Get rid of them.. Chaos right and the black kids were kept from the whites, so we need to go back to that also? People seem to have this fantacy of how the 50s were and it just is not so in reality.  The 50s SUCKED Gio keeps wishing he was in the 50's. He thinks that those were the good ole days.

Paul Schlesselman and Daniel Cowart attempted an assassination attempt of over 100 African Americans and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and they were allegedly affiliated with Supreme White Alliance(a white supremacist organization cited in Muhlenberg County) although the leaders of the SWA have denounced all association with the men by stating that neither of the men were ever full members of the group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhlenberg_County,_Kentucky They have a compound here Pretty much everybody in my community hates them and wishes they would disapear. They are an embarressment and a shame on our town, and they lower our property values and keep jobs from coming into our community. They do not represent most people that live in my area. Okay - what would you call Hitlers interest in astrology, numerology, the "spear of destiny", his search for the holy grail? Do tell - do you have another label for it? Seems to me like "New Age" is new age. If it looks like a rose, smalls like a rose... But you seem to have a better label for it. What would you call it so I can get my semantics right? sounds like you get your history from Indiana Jones movies. Documentaries on the History channel, and I read "Spear of Destiny". Have you? Eljay, I'm afraid that the facts might get in the way of the argument, besides, they already know what they believe and the truth will just get in the way. |

This truly is the most disrespectful thing I have seen since the governer of my state (whom I DID NOT vote for I might add) allowed Atheists to publically degrade and attack the Christian religion. This "letter" makes a mockery of a belief system that goes back longer than this was a country. I find it offensive and ultamately a poor attempt at being noticed until it landed in this thread. How is it funny or even okay for someone to attack anothers belief. A belief I might add.. That has factual evidence to back it up, just like evolution does... Does anyone even watch the news? They found Noah's Ark for goodness sake!!! Lets really look at ourselves and see that this is wrong and this post should come down.

Any religious or philosophical bias should be tossed out of public education. |

I agree sir and a ways back, before this conversation spun off into a torrential disagreement concerning Adolph Hitler's religious beliefs, I had actually mentioned that. Even if we did allow for an ID course study as elective, what instructor would teach that exactly? |

The Catholic and the Protestant churches both funded and endorsed Adolph Hitler. This is reality. If it were not for the Christian citizenry of Germany also putting their faith and support in his mission, he would have never reached the level of accumulated power that he did.

It were mostly Christian Democrats moving up in higher positions. The was next to no chance for a Social Democrat, he had to go to war and fight at the foremost front.
Hitler was after Jews, Communists, and Social Democrats, in that order, and thus the left wing was eliminated. |

And if anyone would have a clear, EXPERIENTIAL understanding of the political persuasions in Germany, it is Invisible, she is possibly the ONLY poster in these threads that can speak of the political parties in modern Germany with any authority. the rest is prosetylising guff... of the google variety. Appeal to Authority. Why should I assume that simply because Invisible is German that she knows more about German history? Why should I assume that Invisible will be truthful about what she knows of German history? Your argument is a fallacy worthy of any elementary school play ground. |

 That is that person's opinion of Invisible and so far from what I have read, she seems to know what she is talking about and is very objective. If you feel the need to discredit her, then do so. Locate information that clearly is in conflict with anything she has stated thus far.

And how was it then with your statement that people who believe that the Nazis were right winged are uneducated and ill informed, accusing nearly the whole German population of it? I'm not to take that serious either? If I was you I would start with thinking BEFORE spouting out these things. To know where the Nazis were standing you would have to know the entire political system in Germany at that time, which you clearly do not, otherwise you wouldn't say the things you do with such force. |
