Alan, you have came a long way from working at McDonald's. Atleast you aren't living with your parents any more. Sometimes we have to look back at how far we have actually come from our own personally history. I really love your new attitude and it great to see a picture of you smiling. You are getting there and I know it can be a hard struggle at times but we can't forget to count our blessings as I am sure you have seen worse. High five, buddy.

I think you are right, Marie. Her version just didn't sound right to me. She looks real healthy and has the body of a weight lifter. Glad you are able to get on. I had a friend where I used to work at who had a pacemaker and he said something similiar as you did. I remember thinking when I was having troubles with my Internet that I pay for this service and I want service. I switched back to a dsl modem I had before and have less downtime with it. The nurse I have stayed over with the last two nights for a few overtime hours gave me a guilted compliment. She told me that she never had trouble with me as far as coming in was concerned and they wouldn't be shorthanded on third shift if I wouldn't have switched to second shift. I told her that I was only doing what the administrator's next in line asked me to do. She said I could have said no to her. You know I am finding that you just can't please everybody. Got your time off. Good for you. Sounds like you are as shorthanded where you work like we get. Sounds like you are getting a well deserved vacation. I hope you have a good time with the grandkids.

I had a bunch of x-rays on my back today, finally, after 9 weeks the PA is trying to see what is going on. Also testing me for lupus, I am sure it will come back negative, only concern is one of the tests, the ANA, came back "positive normal" - so not sure what that means. Will wait until the rest are back. Think I am about ready for a new primary care provider, he is annoying me, waiting all these weeks before testing.

I got to see my grand daughter. I am so happy. As soon as I got the call after work I rushed over to see her. She wanted to go home with me. Sweetest little six year old I have seen in some time. She lives only fourty-five minutes away now. I guess you know where I will be when I can get off from work.

I have had anarexia and depression most of my life and it suxs as far as med i dont think any of them work unless your state of mind is ready.I know for me nothing helps lost cause for me, and trust me girls men dont help the situation at all you know out of sight out of mind.

Welcome to the thread valone. I know what you mean about almost constant depression. Im meds tolerant and have been anorexic in the past.

Do you have reg Dr? Ive found that having a reg Dr can help a lot but you have to build up trust with them. Ive finally found a doc that will work with me on my meds.

Hard to find a good Dr, I know but shop around to find the right one. If you are going through a county or state facility, you have the right to ask for a diff doc.

I dont know your situation but you can write to anyone here and they will help you to the best of thier ability.

We arent docs but we can try to be supportive and some of us can give you numbers in your area so they can give you the help you need.

If not, np, just come in here and vent. We are here to support each other and have been lucky not to have too many jerks come down here to bother us.

I hope you good luck on your scan, Jax. A friend got me this red yeast rice for my chloresterol. It is made by Nature's Bounty. It seems to be helping and I can tell the difference. I take 1,200 milligrams per day or two capsules.

I could have went into work last night but trying to keep my Fridays open for my meetings. I started to replace two 4 by 4 single pane windows in the kitchen and the bathroom with two 2 by 2 energy efficient windows. I got the old windows out but it got late and I have to some more sheetrock for the extra space. In the bathroom the extra space will allow me to have a medicine cabinet and in the kitchen it will let me have space to hang pans and utensils on. I bought a new skillsaw and a crowbar. Having to sleep under the fan tonight till I get the holes covered back over.

Trying to hang in there, Marie. August is hot here, now and real muggy. I kind of wish I waited till I had all the material together but I wanted to get the old windows out so my mom can use them on her back porch. Enjoying the time off. My friend is sick so she couldn't come over to help me clean the house but she couldn't deal with this heat so I thought it was another reason to get the old windows out and have the place for when she gets better and come over to help me clean up the place.

I had to cancel and resched. I have a detectives coming to talk to me and I didnt want to miss them.

I have a mamo sched too, but not sure I want to know the results. Im such a weenie. I hate this.

I also had to take a good freind to the store since his car is broken down.

He just adopted two of the cutest kittens. To black brothers. He named them Amos and Andy. He really need the company. And he saved them from the pound.

They are fixed with shots. If he didnt take them they had no choice but to take them there. And they are over crowded with cats right now and have been putting the poor things down.

They are the custest lil things and fearless. They are bro's too.
