update....i have a job application in at bojangle's down the road from my mom's house....and they added me to the lease so i don't have to go to that shelter after all.....

my aunt that mom and i live with just got out of the hospital today, her ssugar had tbeen sky high and might be able to get that insulin pump she needs now......


and aunt brenda's has been somewhat depressed today....hmmmm.

I got the two windows replaced; The one in the bathroom and the kitchen. All I have left to do is paint the outside of the windows and the wall around the windows inside. I will be glad I did it come winter. It is easier to cool the house now. All five of the puppies I had died. I was hoping that at least one of them would have made it. Looking forward to do some painting tomorrow.

Good ob on the house. I had mine weatherized for free through the power co and my landlord was grateful to say the least. Now it stays warmer and cooler when needed. Good Job!

My landlord is grateful for all the improvements I do, too, Karen. I can't wait to get it all nice and clean so mom can come inside so I won't be so embarrassed about it like I get. Then I can invite my grand daughter over and not be ashamed. I got a bunch of the drywall dust and debris cleaned up so I could use the kitchen sink, again. Then done a few loads of dishes. Yes, I miss the little pups. I plan to get an aquarium which will be easier to take care of and find a good home for the momma dog. Its a good day.

Oh I would take her but I live too far away. Such a Bummer.

Ive done so much work like that when I was a kid and my dad taught me many things. My ex hubbie taught me a bunch of stuff too. I think the only thing I really cant do is carpentry. Wood doesnt like me at all!

You are doing a great job! Is your landlord taking all the expense off your rent or getting you the stuff you need to do this?

An Aquarium is a great idea, but fish die easy so dont get too attached lol. I used to raise fish for feeding to the bigger fish. It was my job to raise the guppies and goldfish.

Also the rats to feed to the snake....ugh, what a life. Aquariums are great for just sitting in the quiet and meditating. Very relaxing to watch them just swim around and you can ever train them to come and eat right out of your hand.

Karen, one of our new nurse's assistant said she would take Sissy. I was so happy. She kind of reminds me of Ellie May from the Beverly Hillbillies from her disposition and already has some other dogs. She has a female Chihuahua like mine she is trying to breed with a male dog. Tonight I got to work with the pregnant aide. She was excited about going to get her sonogram done in the morning. Mom isn't taking any off the rent but I can always go over and still a biscuit or two. And if I feel that it isn't enough I raid her refrigerator. She always good for a hug if I am really depressed and if that don't work then I go over and hug my aunt across the road. My aunt was wanting some of her Rubbermaid containers back but I hadn't done the dishes yet because of the dirty kitchen sink. But I remembered that I bought a whole box of them and gave them to her. I like to keep her in containers because she puts whole dinners in them sometimes.

OK, so, I havent been myself lately.
I guess its because I am stuck here having to live with HIM till my house is finished!
I am so TIRED of feeling lonely!
All I have is my Daughter now.

We are both under stress due to this nasty situation.
I haven't REALLY CLEANED my house in about a month.
I mean, I do clean , but not at all like I used to.
Then the whole thing with My daughter and the BULLY at school has me feeling like I am just about to FREAK !

I understand how stress can get you down.
The issue with your daughter at school is a hard one, but I think you are handling it in the right way and that should make you feel good and stronger about it. Her teacher was really in the wrong on that issue.
I understand about not wanting to clean also, I have let things get ahead of me for several reasons, but trying to get caught up now. My house needs repairs, major ones that I can't afford, and I let it drag me down too.
I am glad you have this site and your friends on it to talk to. I have found my friends on here to be very helpful and to keep me going during times of stress.
Just do what you can, pick one project at a time and don't beat yourself up over not getting the others done. You will accomplish them later. Right now sounds like you are concentrating on your daughter and she is the priority and that is the way it should be, I think. Take care.

Roy - when you get bored, I have a house that could use your skills (just kidding). But your mom is lucky you are able to do all that for her house.

What that boy did was sexual assult and battery! You are doing a great job and you have much more important things to worry about than cleaning perfectly. Just do like Marie said and choose on thing at a time. You will get caught up.

Keep your mind as focused on your daughter as you are now and I believe all will be well. Sorry you are down, but remember that you are welcome here anytime.

Taking this legal is the best way and if I were you and felt up to the challenge, I would involve the media, but that would have to be your call. That might wake up the school officials, eh? Just a thought.

I couldn't agree more with the one thing at a time. I just put the inside trim on the windows. Sometimes the problem or the housework seems just so overwhelming when you are not really in the mood to do something about it. They told us in treatment when our goals are too big to just break them down into smaller goals. It really worked for me as I was able to make some headway. Your daughter is a significant other. I just love that word I learned in my class in college. This thread is significant to me and the people in it. Being lonely with HIM with you. Damn, think my granddaughter's cat may have died. He always meets me at the door to come in and eat. Tonight he didn't, still hasn't come to the door. He was coughing and sneezing the last couple of days and I didn't have money to take him to the vet either, so now I feel really bad. Gonna have to come up with a lie about him going to live somewhere else if she asks about him. I hate losing an animal. Have had him for 6 years or so, and he was a cool cat.

The cat showed up yesterday morning at the door, don't know where he was the day before and why he didn't come in for dinner. He is not coughing like he was before, so maybe he is getting better. I can't afford a vet bill, so hope he is curing himself of whatever it is. Really hope the dog doesn't catch whatever it is either.

I am glad the cat came back for your sake, Marie. Wonder if he had a hair ball. Every once in a while a stray cat comes around here. I am putting up nails for pots, pans, ladles and stuff like that with holes in it around the window in the kitchen. It makes the stuff easier for me to find and not lost in a drawer. I think I will put some more nails in the back room that I don't use for all the tools I have acquired lately due to construction. It would have been easier to have had helped from the friend who made a deal with me to help me clean my house but I have came to the conclusion that I made the mess and will just keep cleaning. I asked the Lord to help me to deal with the cleaning and I keep getting these little helpful ideas. I went to church this morning and another friend who said he would help me told me that he was busy helping others and that was why he couldn't come by. The Lord is helping me to help myself, today and I am taking care of business.

I would have a lawyer draft up a letter and have it sent to the parents of the bully.That's what my folks did and the bull**** stopped.
As for the house,I don't clean like I used too either.I clean for a living and just thinking of doing my apartment.....AAAGGGHHH!!!
