I heard the best expression, a "Nice Alpha". A Man/ Woman Who can quite easily take a position of authority, but is still kind, respectful, and compassionate.

The reason why a lot of jerks succeed in relationships is because they are Alphas, pushing their weight around. These jerks have no respect for those they hurt in their reckless command however. From what I can tell, "nice guys" fail because they turn into cowards and don't really express what they want.

That's why I like this "Nice Alpha" concept. That's what I want to be from now on, I want to be a Nice Alpha. I just have to figure out a nice balance between confident and being a jerk.

When I read the title to this I thought you were asking if I would date someone with MY name.

It would be unusual, but I think i could Date a girl named Joshua... of course if it got serious and we got married that could get complicated, both being named Joshua Mills. I might almost insist she keeps her late name to avoid confusion.

Oh to IMAGR81, no I wouldn't count that. That was a legal matter that made you technically cheat, not a matter of the heart, which is the only matter that matters.

I have found out recently that my access to the internet will be stunted, if not stopped entirely for an undetermined amount of time.
