I agree, to the previous poster. Dont reply to the texts, just call the authorities. He will get the proper help he needs then.

If it continues, change your number. I have recently had to do this, and it wasn't too bad. I have a much quieter life now.

I also agree with SKPCG ...

However, you don't have to change your number - most
all cellphone companies will block numbers for you ...
call you provider and have them set it up for you.

im not spouting hate about republicans or any party i was just commenting on the whole address....it was funny, inciteful, and backfired on the one planning on backing OUR PRESIDENT in a corner...lol

I guess everyone knows the questions are "pre-determined"
and chosen [to be answered], right? I'm not taking sides,
but think it's interesting how the game is played.

It's like how talk shows work ... the guest is provided with
the questions before the show, allowing the guest to be
prepared to provide a proper answer.

we lived with her when we decided to move to tennessee only for a few months she met a man who didn't want to come to her place because we were there
so she asked us to leave
so we found us a place
i understand where my husband is coming from but at the same time i can't turn my back on my sister

So, your sister took you and your husband into her home until
such time y'all could establish your own place? And after a few
months she asked y'all to move out because she met a man
who didn't want to come over because of y'all?

Did I get that right? If so, why is it her [ex?] beau didn't want
to come over while y'all were there? Do you think she was using
"him" as an excuse to ask y'all to leave?

Why not give her a specified window of time to stay with you?
Maybe your husband could tolerate a short time-span with her.

a brief warning about two Supposed Security programs
windows xp police, and avantquest system suite.

both are trojan programs and are a ***** to get rid of..i still cant get rid of the avant, even tho ive removed most of the files and keys.theres no uninstall, and most everything ive found online for fix-it topics just dont work.

the xp police actually spread so bad it crashed my pc.

I agree about Windows XP Police ... they use a "virus scare tactic" to
get you to buy the software ... here's how to remove it:
http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-removal/xp-police-antivirus

I disagree about AvanQuest System Suite - if you're talking about this:
http://avanquest.com/USA/software/systemsuite10-professional-133107?meta=pc-utilities&cat=anti-virus-and-spyware-software&sub=complete-pc-utilities-software

With some software tools, they don't install a dedicated
uninstall utility - you have to use the Windows uninstaller
found in the Control Panel. And sometimes the dedicated
uninstaller is found in a subdirectory of the software's home
directory.

If you're having difficulty removing the software package,
you might want to contact their Tech Support dept:
http://avanquest.com/USA/aq-you/support/

opinions of superspywareremover and malwarebytes would be appreciated.
it got everything out but the avant.
i also have kaspersky, but havent loaded it yet.

I've worked a project for a large County agency who uses Malwarebytes.
Kaspersky is a pretty good product.

But why buy software for home use? I'm an open-source advocate and
believe in free software for home use. When folks ask me about software
recommendations, I always point them to this site (for Windows software):
http://www.techsupportalert.com/
Great reviews of free software and Gizmo keeps the review up to date.

There's also some great utilities here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/default.aspx

what i wonder tho,is why doesnt the security Catch the exe before it loads?

do you have a recommendation Centered?

Probably because it's a virus strain which doesn't have a signature
found in the antivirus' database. Do I have a recommendation for "what"?

When you realize the reasons the person you are dating is divorced in the first place and actually start having sympathy for their ex? Of course this is the time you are ready to end the relationship as well. This has happened to me but I did verbalize what I thought and it was a real wake-up call for him.

Not sure what the point of this post is?

There's no doubt folks have been in this situation,
but what's the real "point"? Venting? Frustration
that you've "been caught up"?

Compliments, do you embrace them and become all smiley or do you shy away and feel uncomfortable?

It's obvious when they're sincere. If sincere, I react
dependent upon who throws the compliment.

50 y/o's starting to look younger? what Maybe it's cause I am growing older so I am getting closer to their age groups? Well, then that means they are getting younger! lol

You're not anywhere near that age group, physically. I say
"physically", because it's mostly "a state of mind". I think
a lot of what happens is there's a realization with the
maturity with "older folks'. Not sure if that makes sense.

You'd be surprised with how "young" older people can
come across and actually are, despite their true age.

DrRob asked for assistance ... yet I'm confused.

DrRob's last post was 5 days ago.

"Queene123" last post /reply was the 14th.

Not sure what I can contribute at this moment, since
it doesn't appear anyone is having any more issues.

If my last paragraph answers "yes", then "yes", it's
very easily done. What type of machine are you running?
Laptop? Desktop? Can you give us more info on it?

Nicotine by itself is not bad for you it is the "stuff" you get from smoking.
[snipped]

40–60 mg can be a lethal dosage for adult humans. High
concentrations of nicotine can paralyze the breathing and
heart muscles.

Granted, all the other chemicals found in a cigarette are
quite harmful, but to say nicotine "is not bad for you"
is a very naive statement.

You are right I did not indicate the lethal dose haha. The meaning was that inhaling small doses of nicotine per vaporiser versus smoking regular cigs is most likely better for you. Pure nicotine in very small doses in not harmful, you can do the research.

I've done the research years ago. Oddly enough, nicotine
is used in other medical research in treating certain
"diseases", such as schizophrenia.

But the fact remains, any dosage of nicotine is bad for you,
in the long run.

Anyone attempting to write their first book, and if so, will you publish it anytime soon?

I'm writing my first book e-book..it's hard workohwell

I've found if you don't "force it", it comes easy. Of course, each person
has their own method for motivation. I've written three books (technical)
and never had "problems" getting through the process.

In these more modern times, I think it's probably a bit easier. In the
more traditional methods, where you're up against the publisher's
time-constraints, it's more difficult (my experience).

What was the most difficult process for me? Writing the first sentence
of a chapter. It could take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days to "perfect"
that first sentence. But when I completed it, it provided the outpouring
of thoughts required for the balance of the chapter. It was actually easier
to write the rest of the chapter than it was for that first sentence.

I use Firefox.
It's easy to turn of the pop-up blockers if need be.

I had Google Chrome.
It crashed my computer constantly.
I got rid of it.

I don't use IE, for some reason it won't work on my PC.

Firefox is the best browser, in my opinion, and should be used
by all PC users ... the ability to customize is seemingly endless.

If I used Windows, I would never use IE. Heck, even Safari is
a much better browser than IE ... faster and more compliant.

Although I think Firefox is top-notch, I use Chrome on my machines
(MacBook Pros and Linux desktops). Chrome offers many advantages
over other browsers ... and once the extensions start to appear, you
will find it a "better browser experience" than the others.

So, do you dance?

I've pretty much done it all ... two-steppin' at Gilley's (Pasadena),
ballroom dancing, disco, alternative/new wave, and so on.

My strangest dancing experience? On the way home from a dance club
with a good friend (late 80's?), a song came on the radio and my friend
commented how much she loved dancing to the song and suggested we
pull over and dance. So at about 1am, we pull over on the freeway's
shoulder lane (US 59 in Houston), turn up the radio, get out, and dance.

i have been to many sites and every time i think i found that special person they end up a total waste of my time.. does this site work or is this another waste of time??

It's not whether a "dating website" itself works - the website
is merely a vehicle for establishing contact with other folks.

It's how your interactions with other people will determine
"if it works".

A better question should be, "what are *you* doing at a Goth-Dating website"? :)

What worked for you?

I was at a night club, walked in the restroom with a cigarette
in my mouth, looked at myself in the mirror, and thought,
"that looks pretty stupid" ... I took the pack of cigarettes out
of my pocket and threw them in the trash.

That was about 20 years ago (I smoked close to 15 years).

The health risk(s) and the repugnant odor should be enough
incentive to make anyone quit.
