Just tell it to him straight (if you'll forgive the pun).

I might have the utmost respect for a gay friend (I don't really have a gay friend). But if he starts openly making passes at me, to me, that is an indication of disrespect and a breach of trust.

In short, if he cannot show respect for your orientation (and it doesn't matter if he's lonely or what) then how can he expect you to tiptoe around his feelings?

If I was in this situation, I would say something like, "Dude, you're gay; I've already told you I'm not. This behavior will cease." Or something to that effect.

When I was a kid, I used to put up with all kinds of ****. My reasoning was that it is normal to be treated in this manner, so I just tolerated it.

When I dropped out of school, I began to lash out, while still keeping most of it locked away inside. I wasn't aware of it at the time, but in hindsight, I was displaying symptoms of post traumatic stress syndrome.

Around the turn of the century, I became very bitter about what people had done to me, and VERY hostile if I perceived the slightest insult from a person.

Then it came to a head, and a choice dispute and the feeling of utter betrayal led me to have a complete breakdown and snap. I got into a very serious fight that would have landed me in jail, except that I had no history of violence and no criminal record.

Everyone looked at me strangely after that. Many admitted they were shocked at my actions...Shocked...I was always insulted by the ignorance. Stupid people can't comprehend that when a pattern of abuse has been established that it might have a deliterious effect on the mind of the abused. This is why there are so many serial killers in society, not because of TV, video games or wrestling (as I've been told time and again).mad rant

I probably still carry a lot of that anger around inside of me today, but I don't unload it on those that don't deserve it. Most people today would still describe me as pretty mild-mannered. I am most of the time, because people know to show me respect now.

But no one will walk all over me like that again. Nobody.

list some of the scariest movies ever. and remember, there are a lot scarier things than torture porn (saw, hills have eyes, etc)

for me

poltergeist, IT, exorcism of emily rose, the "new" omen, and the thing is a classic (scarred the POOP outa me when i was younger)

IT scared me at the time...I'll remember it as the defining horror of my early life...for years afterward, clotheslines and sinkholes made me nervous.scared

We even invented a game around it called Pennywise tag (unimaginatively enough, it was the same idea as freeze tag).

Not scary at all anymore, but still a classic.

As far as true scary, take any Japanese horror that has been adapted into an Americanized version. The Ring, The Grudge, Shutter and The Eye are the four scariest movies I have ever seen.

Have you seen my report card?surprised

If you're serious about quitting and would label yourself a non smoker, then I guess technically that makes you a non smoker.

Good luck.

Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. My fav show as a kid.

I'd laugh because he would get so pissed that his plans were foiled by an idiot, classic!

laugh I remember during those early episodes he had thin toothpick arms and in later eps he was ripped and muscular like he'd been pumping iron.laugh

In fact animals are actually superior to humans in that way, at least some are, because certain animals stay with one mate through their whole lives...

Of course, most animals live only a fraction of the time as humans, but I digress...

what Is promiscuity wrong or the way we were meant to be?

Please share and explain your thoughts.

I would be lying if I said promiscuity didn't disturb me. This incessant need for people to sleep with everyone...we're supposed to be so much more highly evolved than animals, built with bigger brains and all that crap, but in the end, most people are no different than animals.

have you ever asked someone to marry you and she replies the time just isnt right< perhaps not getting along so well, too soon, or something in the way that one wants to take care of first> would you ever ask them to marry you again? or is it just over with? perhaps the feeling of rejection overwhelmed you?

I would completely understand.

Have you ever Hated anyone?pitchfork
If so, why?

Yes. I still hate a person who bullied me. He was in my class after I failed seventh grade. He knew Tae Kwon Do, and he liked to intimidate me with his apparent skills.

The locust lives in Calgary now (I did some checking up). He's the one person I would probably headbutt if I saw today.

Does time as we know it truly exist?

Time does not exist.

It is our perception of time, as the periods that lead one event to another, that gives time meaning.

Brittney Spears... people need to get off her case. im not a fan but good lord if people where following me around all the damn time, camping out in front of my house to take pictures of me going to 7Eleven id freak the hell out too.

as for the worst movie ever!

The Village. by M. Night Shyamalan
oh my god!!! so bad

and

Manderlay!! it is the sequal to a good movie called Dogville.
If you can watch Manderlay without wanting to slit your wrist you are super human.

p.s. Howard the Duck rocks!!

How can you think the Village is bad, but like...HOWARD THE DUCK???

All I remember from that movie is that stupid fight scene when Howard beat up a bunch of thugs...a giant duck going all yoda on people...Lame...ill

300 was really disappointing...

Don't get me wrong, it's far from the worst of all-time. The visuals and effects are amazing. But the plotline sucks...the whole plot just involves the Spartans randomly killing things.

"Oh, these guys are dead...what have we here...more people to kill! And look, there's a Persian army coming over that hill...Why don't we fight them too?"
