Topic: What film most defines what love is? | |
---|---|
I am coming out swinging hard with this one:
Moulon Rouge... Brilliant acting Dazzling visuals Awsome Story The Music.... ...HOLY COW!!! This movie just stood out. I am NOT into romance movies or musicals at all and yet I own this one on DVD. Then again I own Cannibal the Musical by Troma Films. That is one WARPED movie but not what this thread is about. |

Its got to be "Love Actually" the message in the titles at the start...all the way through the Film...Love at many different levels for different reasons.

Hellraiser
A Nightmare on Elm Street Holloween Just when you think you're in love, some deranged serial axe murderer sneaks up on you and hacks you one in the back. If that ain't a truer representation of what love is, nothing is. |

Folk, Cannibal the Musical is for real. It was done by the same guys that made South Park. It is obscure but if you look for it on Amazon you will find it. It is about the only man convicted of Cannibalism in American History until recently with people like John Wayne Gacy and Ed Geil. Boy does it give you a taste of Old West Colorado. The Trapper Song is absolutely hilarious. One thing about the main character, he sure DID love his horse until she leaves him for another man...
...Watch it... |

Not that I am a huge Adam Sandler fan... but 50 First Dates... having someone go to all of that trouble to sink their memory into one's conscience finally... everyday for the rest of one's life... that is true love and dedication from a soul mate. I know it was a bit comedic, but so is real life at times also. Very endearing... for these times...
