Tokyo seemed like everyone was too busy going places, like New York is here, so I would not say they were overly polite there. Away from the city, I usually had friends around that knew the area so I was not asking for directions to have that happen. But I am not sure I would have noticed it as being weird either because if I have time and it is not too far out of the way then I will do that also. I did that the last time I was at the grocery store, an elderly couple asked me where the noodles were. I told them that they were about 3 aisles down, then I was like "I need to get some also if you want to just follow me." Help others if you can type of thing I guess...lol

I did not notice their English, but I am not the best at English myself so I try not to judge too much...lol But I might have just thought that English was not their first language and let it go at that. There are a lot of people who also speak French in Canada so maybe it is a French thing? Or it may be like the southern US here where the education is so poor that you just get use to no one speaking correctly...lol

I visited Japan a couple of times when I lived in Korea, but of course I did not get to see enough of it...lol i did visit one of the tourist trap villages that were set up like it was old times and it was pretty cool. The thing that impressed me the most though was that they would build a fire under the stone floor buildings to keep warm.

I started watching "99 to Beat", US and UK versions which is a fun show doing silly games to win it.

No, not anime. I never watch that. Not my cup of tea.
Real actors.
I had the title wrong, it's "Last Samurai Standing".
Which tells the tale of what it's about.
I guess a great way to get rid of the entire Samurai class by having them kill each other, hihi.
Nevertheless, trailer is promising.
A series based on a novel.

When I googled it, anime did not come up but a comic book did so that is close...lol I seen the trailer and it looks rather dark for me. But if you get into it then it looks like it is suppose to follow the history of Japan so you might learn a little there, a teaching action drama show...lol

The first season of them looking for crystals were low buck hunters mostly, the people who were walking along and finding them. A few were going in abandoned mines to look. I think just one guy was seriously digging. But that is what lost me with season 2, most of the people were doing serious digging.

I remember the 2003 movie of Last Samurai, but I did not see a series like what you are talking about. Is it one of those amine cartoons?

A lot of people travel and are with their families over the holidays here so I would think that they would not have the time to be on here. Now maybe they do come on here after their family give them a guilt trip to find someone...lol

There seems to be plenty of cop drama shows, but limited on the wilderness reality shows. I am watching Outback Crystal Hunters right now. The first season was interesting but season two has seemed to lost something, different people and all.

When I googled Canada EV show copyrights it looked like it was only 50 years. Either way it is longer than I would want to wait...

For me, the distance filter works but now the Hopped Country does not...lol So if you click on the Hopped Country then it only shows that country and not your own.

I think it's one of these shows that was absolutely brill, and that can't and won't ever be brought back to our screens again.

I hope you are wrong on that. Or maybe they are waiting for the copyright laws to run out. They seem to be bringing back some of the old 70's shows now...

I have always wondered if Caucasian men like company of well educated Indian women?

As the others here have said, it would probably not be the well-educated or the Indian part that guys are not liking...

Two meters is kind of low for a light. I would go with around 3 meters at least.

Survivorman and Ray Mears Survival seem to boyscoutish if you know what I mean. Yeah they know there stuff, but I like the out side the box ideas also.

If they remade ManTracker here in the state, they could keep it a cowboy type or spin it a little and go with a Native American. They were said to be some of the best trackers in the world and then they could slip in some Native American history through out the show. Some with Australia, the Aborigines are suppose to be the best trackers there. I am sure they could change things up just enough to make the lawyers happy, or work it out to use the name again.

I watched the first season of the UK Hunted, I agree it was just too much. Especially when they start breaking and entering other peoples homes. I really did not like the idea of the end (I will not say anything else in case you have not seen it).

So after that season I thought I would check out the American version, which turns out to be the same set up basically. The funny part is when I started to watch it, I remembered that I had already watched this show and was not impressed then either...lol

So I was hoping that the 1990's Wanted show would be better without all the camera tracking and social media...but I am not sure about it either. Here is the start of it if you want to check it out.

Cats and squirrels are usually too small to set of the motion lights, depending on what sensitivity level they are set on. The one I have on my front porch is set very sensitive and most of the time my basset hound dog can not set it off but my goat can since he is a little bigger.

The 'Naked and Afraid' shows are American, but they are all censored and blurred out from showing anything. One lady made a duct tape bra and they still blurred it out...lol But the 'Naked Attraction' and 'Dating Naked UK' shows are in the UK so you should be able to find them over there. I have not seen the Dating Naked shows, but the Naked Attraction is an interesting show.

The Hunted show seems more like a scare tactic show than anything. It is showing you more of how you can not hide from the state no matter what you try to do.

If just one person was naked then it might now be good, but if everyone is naked then it is even ground. I am sure there is a screening process to cut down on the lustful ones...lol

The 60's was before my time, but it seem to be about women's movement and taking back the power. The Star Trek shows were made on the idea of the perfect world with no politics or religion. A world full of peace, we were just exploring the galaxy. Maybe that is why so many people liked it, to get away from their world that is not so nice.

I watched a couple of the Hunted, it is not bad but it looks to be a whole season of tracking the same people. Mantracker had new people each episode so if you missed one episode it was not a big deal, you could watch them out of order or what ever.

Motion detector lights are nice to know if there is movement outside. It might be just a stray dog but it will at least tell you something is moving outside while you are in the house.

If someone is going to rob a house during a blackout, I would think they would go to the house with all the lights out so they figure there is no power going there which means no cameras. If your house has a light on then they might wonder if you have power to any cameras also.
