Why would a God that created us waste all those veins. If you look at our bodies the veins go all over the place kinda crazy. If God had made us he would have used the ol Straight line idea. I assume he would know the shortest distance to these things.

My only point in saying that way was to show you how it is for me. I just go around talking about my beliefs and for some reason people find that condescending. I also wish that everyone would find thier own personal happiness. However you want to worship is fine with me. If you find peace by going off in a corner somewhere and praying to Christ I am happy for you and support you.

Actually it is more like your sin nature miraculously appears. Things that Christians call a sin, working on the sabbath, lust,loving someone of the same sex, they are not sins to non-believers. You do not need to walk around with the fruit eaters sin over your head.

So my god Asclepius is just making sure I will have an after life and then the God of all says that he must return back to him.

I tell the truth about Christianity and it feels like persecution to you. I guess the question to ask is why you would have to go with name calling as opposed to just discussing the merits of the religion that is supposed to be so obvious to all.

I gave up free will, feeling good, self respect, good judgment, kindness to others....


These are just few of the things I gave up to be a Christian. The list could really go on.

Ok Rabbit...there are MANY MANY MANY so called "christians" out there in the world, who have an abiding LOVE for the bible... and have a LOVE for christianity... and were even RAISED UP in a family of church going christians....but are not christians atall.

Rabbit... just because you were RAISED up in a christian environment , or even loved christianity at one time, does NOT make you a christian!!

The ONLY way you can become a christian ..is when you ask Jesus into your heart and MEAN it in yuor HEART!!!

In other words...becoming BORN AGAIN ..is what makes you a real christian.

Gotta MEAN those words, when you ask Jesus in....gotta mean it in your HEART, not just in your head!

There is a BIG difference between having HEART knowledge , versus HEAD knowledge of Jesus.

Once again...a child of God who IS TRULY BORN into the Kingdom of God, CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT BECOME UNBORN!!

Look at Franklin Graham, for instance....his father is the famous evangelist Billy Graham.

Now....Franklin was raised around the gospel message being preached all his life, but he rebelled against God for awhile in his life.

In other words, being around a christian family that loved God, all his life.....did NOT automatically make Frankin a christian .

Frankin Graham STILL Had to make that personal decison for Jesus Christ, HIMSELF..Amen?
Which he did..and is being used by God mightily today.

I was an atheist. I didn't wake up until I was 32. It won't happen for everyone. God knew your soul before you were born and he knew what your life would be. Ever hear of a "radical conversion"? It isn't a common occurrence but I am proof that it does happen. What I am trying to say is that I was rabbit, abra, and others, full of hatred for ANY faith, so all you can and should do is keep setting an example. Ignore the hate and live the love.

Now if we could separate Church and Hate.

Like I say Morning song, It looks like you get to make quite a few decisions on who is in or out. Unfortunately you were not around to give the ok when I was a child.

Separation of Church and State is America's greatest accomplishment.

This is always the last stand for Christians. To say that anyone that walks away from Christianity was never really a "Christian". It's like some kind of purity test to make sure the religion was never tainted with the unholy. To bad for you I was a great and involved Christian raised from infancy in a religious home and I am still surrounded by a religious family that is shocked by my conversion and the obvious light I give off now by living the real truth.
I can tell by the posting of some others, Abra for sure, that many have taken a similar path. We all had a love for that religion and for truth. Still have a hope for the way that it teaches tolerance, peace, love your brother as yourself, do not judge. I still think in terms that many people in here that claim to be Christian do not act Christ Like. So I am not as far from the religion I was raised in as you may think.
If you get to make the judgment on who was and was not a Christian I guess you have more power then I thought.

I was under that same sin guilt when I was a Christian. The day that I realized all this "sin" that was dumped on me only came from the Bible and the Church. I just naturally wasn't going to kill anyone, and I wasn't going to steal, the only sins that were left were things like lust, and I know realize that is a biological effect not a sin, nothing to feel shame over. Not keeping the sabbath holy, also only important if you believe in the myth of the God that created the world that needed to be saved by sacrificing himself to himself.
The day you walk away from that Bible worship is the day you will feel real peace. The day you can really look at truth and not have to make it fit some false idea.
