at the moment of conception a NEW living organism is formed, what is a living organism....living being the key word.....

round and round we go, what came first the chicken or the egg, does an unborn fetus have a soul, when is a baby a baby, was God a man or a woman, or Bi....wth

thing is, if you terminate something that is living, what have you done........Killed, murdered...hmmm

thanks for the link that was even better than I remembered him, man him and bird used to really go at it, talking trash to each other throughout the whole game, but they had an infinite respect for one another. most guys feared playing against Jordan, not sugar he relished the moment.....

do you think Tim Duncan is really a forward rather than a center....and speaking of forwards, what seven footer do you know of that can dribble like Dirk, Jesus.

You do understand she's talking about the English system

^really, well duh...she lives in England, but in this case it can be easily compared with the U. S., the public system anyways.

but the plan's language does not include illegal aliens for coverage

only some parts of it exclude them, the language is broad and very vague

scottie pippin was the most overrated superstar I ever saw, Jordan made him, but when Jordan left he couldn't carry a water bucket let alone the bulls....

the greatest team I ever saw play was the lakers, Elgin Baylor, West, Wilt, happy hairston and either pat eiley or some other smuck, but they couldn't beat the celts, unreal.....Did you see Kobe's game winner last night, what's that 3 already this year....Phenom....Kobe, Lebron, Wade, and Carmello are worth the ticket, and yes dirk as well.....yes the NBA is in good shape.....

can't believe you'd choose Garnett over McHale, the man had more moves then ex-lax, and I thought he was far more important to boston than anyone other than bird. Lebron at point, I don't think his dribble is good enough, hell clyde Frazier would pick his pocket with such a high dribble.....I do like him at a swing position.

Ive heard of Michael Ray Richardson

Even Michael Jordan himself said he was the best player he ever played against, he was awesome and played great d-fense, but got kicked out of the league for coke, couldn't leave it alone, you'd think they'd learn after what happened to Lenny Bias

um just off the top of my head, the dems swear that national health care won't cover illegals, which anyone who works in the hospitals know it's impossible to exclude anyone from healthcare that ends up on your door with serious issues, so that's one lie...that can't be refuted.

Dominique Wilkins as far as leaping ability and power when he dunked is really the only player I can think of that is comparable to Lebron, but thats just from the dunking aspect of the NBA.

^um, don't forget Dr J....oh it's easy to forget him, has he come down yet from the last time he took off...lmao, actually Lebron reminds me of Connie Hawkins and sugar ray richardson in the same body, but still all in all, when the game is on the line, I want the ball in Kobe's hands, and so does Kobe.....Many kids love Iverson, to me he was the last person I'd ever choose in the NBA for my team, he's a cancer to any team, it's all about him, I thought maybe he'd learn to include his teammates somewhere down the line, but he failed to grasp that part of the game, he could take lessons from Jordan, because it took Mike 5 years to learn it as well, and when he did, walla title after title, but you're right, Lebron came in the league knowing the aspects of team ball and not "I" ball.....He's one of the best players in the game now, but certainly not in a class by himself on the court, maybe he is by himself with the "class" he has shown on and off the court, but I just can't hand over the reins of him being the best, but he's in the top no doubt.......and will be for quite sometime.

My greatest team ever
Point guard....John Stockton or Mo Cheeks, maybe maravich
Shooting Guard...Jerry West, Jordan
Center.....Wilt, Bill Russell
Forwards....Dr. J., Magic (seriously, he wasn't a guard) and believe it or not, Rodman

I am seriously thinking of getting out of the education sector after numerous reports similar to this one.............."It was claimed that teachers were being driven out of the profession by excessive Government red tape and a rise in bad behaviour among pupils.

^all the good teachers end up being recruited by the private schools here in Phila, and they leave in droves, why? because of the lack of support they receive from the administative part of the educational system. The lack of proper teaching tools, (most schools don't even have books, it's true) and the number 1 reason is because of the behavior of the children and or their parents and guardians, it's a cesspool and any kid that goes to highschool here in the inner city can gruduate with a B average if they have good attendance and aren't a behavioral problem. That's pathetic, because some of them try to go to college and over 80% drop out because they can't handle the curriculum, sounds like you have the same problems over there....

well the easiest thing in the world would be to walk away, however the right thing to do would be to organize "all" the teachers and put your foot down and tell the dipshi.t bureaucratic wheels of education, what it will take for you all to turn it around, problem with that is, teachers like every where else, can't work together as a team anymore, they are far too caught up in their personal lives and accomplishments to see the overall goal that could be accomplished if they were united....Plus I honestly feel that taking religion and discipline out of the schools hands created the monsters we now have patrolling the halls.....

a terrific player no doubt, but an even better human being, I love the way he carries himself on and off the court, Iverson should have taken notes on how to do it, his unselfish play many think is his downfall, personally I think it add to his greatness. Course give me Kobe anyday on the court, and King James in life...either way you get a winner....Nice post, but The Big "o" averaged a triple double...hmmmmm

Oh God, Another Year (an oldie, but the beat goes on)

last year broke my heart
as george w. got reelected
over 100,000 have died of aids
and more keep getting infected

this year was even worse
as disasters hit every day
killing so many people
making war seem like a play

I almost got a job
but didn't like mexico
seems the country is for sale
to the highest bidder we go

took a gun away from a kid
who was barely ten years old
"I got it from my daddy"
is the story that he told

the 12 year old girl
who lives across the street
is pregnant to a man
who is a known dead beat

there's crack on every corner
sold by the vial
no sense in arresting them
they're out without a trial

the kids don't go to school
and the parents could care less
what ever happened to dreams
in the pursuit of happiness

everyone's living for the moment
not worrying about tomorrow
and as another year approaches
I shake my head in sorrow.........

Make a difference, instead of making a resolution, make a committment to caring for mankind......Peace

I love their fries, toast and kisses

why does anyone hate anyone, regardless of ethnic background, because their own lives are miserable, if they weren't there wouldn't be enough time to hate others, they'd be having too much fun enjoying life.

Good point, I'd love to send money to Biafra, but won't because you never know where that money ends up, so instead I make sure I help out in my own community first and foremost, maybe if everyone did that, the world could start to heal one community at a time...It always amazes me when I see others go to another country to adopt a child when there is one in their own neighborhood that's homeless...go figure...red tape I guess.

The unfair advantage is women not getting to try in the first place and prove naysayers wrong

^you need to study up on your sports. The top female B-Ball player tried out for the NBA, and got cut from the practice squad, didn't a woman attempt to play in the masters, but realized there was no way she could compete....Christie the female heavyweight champion boxer tried sparring with males to tougher her up, their jabs were hurting her...It just isn't realistic...Now when girls are 13-14, they dominate the boys, but then it's a wrap, they just can't match the speed, the strength and the over all athletism. Although I think womens college basketball is a much cleaner game and played like it's supposed to be played then the mens NCAA games....here's one sport where I think a woman can compete with a man, Volley ball, but even then the men spike much harder, but the women set better.....other than that, there is no major league sport that a woman can play equally with a man, it just isn't going to happen, sorry....hope all you want, but nada, no way, no how....

rarely feel guilty and I don't have any regrets.

^It sounds if you are not perceptive to your surroundings?

^on the contrary, if a person has done all they could do to the best of their ability, why have guilt, as I stated earlier, guilt is equivalent to nothing less than emotional insecurity, cut and dry...If you feel you haven't done enough, then you probably haven't.....

as to failed marriages, hmmm. you aren't responsible for the others actions, only your reaction.....we love guilt, it helps us keep beating ourselves up even more then we initially intended.....read the book I'm ok you're ok, by Dick Gregory, you'll feel less guilt, I promise you....

no corporate sponsor in their right mind will try to sell a bad image, well maybe anyone who endorses Iverson or Tyson, but mark my word, Tiger will end up making even more money for the gold digger to spend in the aftermath of all this......Hell Clinton did...

Charlie Sheen didn't make a billion dollars selling a " squeaky clean " image

actually neither did tiger, we are the only ones not privy to his immediate circle, you can't tell me those corp execs didn't hook him up with babes and a buick as part of the deal. Ever see the movie Blue chips that shaq played in, don't be naive enough to think everyone around him and in business with him was in the dark as much as his wife was. He's personable, the worlds greatest golfer and has a very unique story as to how he got to where he is...were you just as shocked about Kobe Bryant, or Magic Johnson....it's a known fact that sport figures while appearing squeaky clean, soil the sheets in almost every city...how many did Wilt say he slept with, 50,000...probably a low estimate.
