we're talking about one of the most hideous crimes that is perpetrated every two minutes in this country and you need statistical proof, ok, I aim to please
http://www.paralumun.com/issuesrapestats.htm that's just one of the studies done, many law enforcement angencies and even colleges themselves do their own, but many of them won't publish them for obvious reasons |

Color struck

love is an array of colors, too bad we have to segregate it to our own fancy.....
funny thing is, if you trace your family tree all the way back you'll discover that we are all related somewhere down the line so therefore the only color that should matter should be on the inside.....people are idiots, life is easy, it's us who complicate it with our false political correctness |

|
|
it happens, there are over 25,000 college girls raped every year and they have no idea who, or how it happened....the drug should be banned and its use should carry a heavy sentence.

The Pittsburgh Police

this type of thing goes on in the inner cities almost weekly and then the cops wonder why so many of them are getting shot at. The sad thing is these cops will be slapped on the wrist and will return to work with even more venom in their hearts, but if a regular citizen beat someone like that they'd spend 5 to 10 in prison.....I have a kid in my youth program that has been cuffed and stuffed in the back of a police car at least ten times waiting to be identified by someone who claims they got robbed, no why he is always picked up....only because he wears a white tee shirt....The child has never committed a crime in his life. cops for the most part in the inner cities are ignorant a.s.sholes and they continue to run amuck with their shoot first ask questions later and unfortunately they'll keep having the police commisioners attend policeman's funerals.....and the beat goes on....

Sitting back to do nothing is just not an option for many people who care
^nobody said anything about sitting back, but to handle your own communities first, it should start there and work its way out....yes it's easy to say be charitableto all, but just not realistic, and thus our frustration grows to where we end up giving where it is least helpful....Did you know that an average of 7 cents out of every dollar sent abroad actually goes towards the intended charity......where's the other 93 cents go. |

something I ran across that I found interesting....
Found this...no author - We've already donated "emergency" money to Haiti. It's called the U.S. income tax. "The tale of U.S. foreign aid to Haiti is maddening, as well-meaning Americans dump more and more money to alleviate suffering, only to see little or no actual improvement in the living conditions on the ground. Since 1973, the United States has been the worlds largest foreign aid donor to Haiti, which ranks among the worlds poorest countries. From 1990 to 2005, the U.S. sent $1.46 billion to Haiti in aid from development assistance and children's health, through the Economic Support Fund, the U.S. food program, Peace Corps, and foreign military training (although that was only $4.6 million, with $3 million coming in 1995.) More recently, "In May 2008, the Bush administration announced that it would send an additional $25 million in emergency food aid to Haiti, bringing its total emergency contribution to $45 million... Congress provided $100 million for hurricane relief and reconstruction assistance for Haiti and other Caribbean countries in the FY 2009 continuing appropriations resolution, signed September 2008. Haiti received an estimated $287 million in regular appropriations for FY 2009."" (NRO) So why hasn't all this aid done any good? Perhaps because Haiti is rated the 3rd most corrupt country in the world. If past is any precedent, a lot of this $100 million will end up in the Swiss bank accounts of corrupt Haitian politicians. And Haiti will ask us for even more. ^my own thoughts about all this is that we can raise a billion dollars in a week, feed another country for 6 months and adopt their children, yet we have in our own communities homeless children who have nothing to eat and no parents, we have elderly citizens who paved the way for our nation that can't afford their medicine and food at the same time. I feel for haiti I really do, but I'd much rather donate to my own community first and foremost, at least there I can see where the money is going, because I do it personally. |

could you imagine if ruth took steroids, oh wait, how many hotdogs did he eat before a game...Lmao
I agree that doping was and still is rampant in baseball, they are always going to find ways to cheat, nasal spray or some other undetectable antihistamine. and you're absolutely right, there's no way to tell who did and who didn't in the past 15 or so years. If Bonds makes it into the Hall of fame (shame), then pete rose should be a lock, hell after all rose broke cobbs record and cobb was a wife abuser and a known racist.....the sporting world on a whole has gotten way out of control and it seems to be getting worse every year with players toting guns and getting involved in sexual triangles. Seems like you have to learn how to talk s.h.i.t., dance and act a fool before you even learn the fundamentals of the game anymore.....sad, but hey it makes for good reality T.v....go get'em tiger |

Greg Maddux....almost laughable, hell did he ever throw a strike, Steve Carlton was far better and don't forget Bob Feller, Sandy Koufax, and the greatest most intimidating pitcher of all time.....Bob Gibson.
and BTW Griffey is scared to death of drugs, so I doubt your claim has any validity. |

I knew it, but liked him because he was an advocate for abused children and donates much of his money and time to them, yes he used steroids when he got injured, but not to cheat like bonds did....anyhow, it sends a very bad message to the kids following in their footsteps, you have to take drugs to perform on a major level...Thank God for Ken Griffrey Jr. Can you imagine how many homers he would have hit.....his 600 is far more valuable to me than bonds record.
If Jr plays into his mid 40's like many expect him to, a non steriod user may again hold the HR record ^as much as I'd love to see it, I seriously doubt it, maybe if he went back to seattle....but his hard playing has taken a toll on his body, he has maybe 2-3 years left at best. |

It doesn't surprise me one bit that you seem to be advocating his cause, ah why not weed is harmless right, wrong.....the weed today is so far removed from the weed of the sixties it isn't even funny, they cut it with a variety of things, it makes people more violent, and those who come across the "wet" have been known to do some really off the wall stuff, you never know what you're getting or reselling these days, but that isn't even the gist of my problem with any of this, what example are you setting for you son and his sons and each generation after that.....all I can say is WOW, and we wonder why each generation seems to be getting worse and worse. Oh well to each their own I guess.
