Hope, faith that one day humanity will wake the hell up and realize that we are systematically self destructing. The plight of the children in our society today, they have all but been abandonded and neglected because we have gotten too caught up in this materialistic world, if I can but make a different in one life on a positive level that is enough to keep me going until the next struggle.....other than that, nothing really, cept maybe the motorcycle......Happy New Year

^absolutely....corruption and politics within the same sentence, it fits, should be listed in the dictionary as Corrupt politics, one word or politically corrupt however you want to look at it.....Granted the politicians start out as your run of the mill idealists, but after being in office for a minute they either submit to the corruption to stay there or quickly end up on the outside looking in.....

One is never responsible for an action towards them, but they are responsible for their reaction.

The word friend, like love is the most oft misrepresented word in our society today, many use it, yet few really know what it entails. I have many associates, and can count my true friends on half a hand, if I said I had anymore I'd be lying to myself. When you love someone or befriend someone you give them a piece of you that can never be replaced, you may even end up hating their actions, but it's impossible to hate them without hating yourself if you did it genuinely.......

Being a friend makes you the most vulnerable you'll ever be, and yet it's worth the risk if you can just find one genuine and true.....

Is there any love stronger than that of a mother for her children when done correctly. She favors her mother, beautiful, if she has the heart as well then that's a reflection on you....Hopefully the two of you will have many many more pleasant journeys throughout life.

not surprising the similarities, the key is in the word of the Rekigion itself....Islam....which translated, means peace and isn't that what most people truly desire, from others and within. and yet the fanatics or lunatics whichever you prefer seem to make most of the decisions on both sides.

thanks for sharing, but believe it or not there are many americans who already knew this and have been saying the same things for years, long before Iraq and afganistan, they are just the latest....are government is full of it, but mostly of themselves.

if a child doesn't know how to behave properly by the time he/she is in the twelth grade, then somebody didn't do their job correctly, teachers have enough to worry about, I love the no-tolerance policies adopted by some schools, if you come to disrupt send their as.s.es to reform school, no if ands or butts, why should the other students be made to suffer because someone didn't get the clue that school was for education and not a jesters gradification.

The direction things are swinging,, I think all natures of sexual interests will be untouchable by law someday. It will be a whatever feels good to the individual society. I think age of consent laws will drop as well as laws forbidding intermarriage within families. The argument that consentual adults sex lives are noones business will apply to all consentual relationships. ...should be interesting

^sad that we have come to that point in our society but I must agree with you, however in the inner cities it already seems to be prevalant, little 13-14 year old girls getting pregnant by 32 year old men, and people think that sh-t is cute, it's rape mentally and statutorily anyway you look at it, yet in some societies it's ok....The key issue in this thread is consenting adults, and I feel the same about drug use, give it to a child you should be locked up, however if an adult wants to ruin their life consuming it, the hell with them, let'em....
