How my heart
delved..... ....tried to give of itself Down through memories, back through to the 7's and 9's eagerly my heart held out and hurled all those "Here" and "Here" and "Here's" But then I didn't have any follow through when they took and took Didn't know what else They wanted My eager heart tried to keep things going a beat "Here" do it till it makes you Puke on all your stars, looked at long by all those everday eager hearts. How I still Delve and delve even after all I'd seen amounted to Nothing left to Give. |

We are grouped together here in Atheist/Agnostic mostly by a lack of belief; and for those of us that are here based on 'disbelief', well its a fairly narrow (and some would say unimportant) topic of disbelief - its just the question of 'deity'. Now I'm not suggesting that 'we all must believe in something, so if you don't believe in a diety, what do you believe in - in place of a diety' ... But I would like to get to know people here according to their beliefs, not just our lack of belief. So what do you believe? What do you believe in? I believe in Science, that all questions will eventually be answered by the drive, ambition and desires of those who realy want to know our place in the universe and how it came about. I dont believe that we have to wait like starving dogs, whining and begging for "scraps" from the masters' table. If you want to change your life, DO IT YOURSELF, don't surrender everything you are to the machinations of what has kept the human race from real progress for thousands of years. There, that should do it |

I liked this,,,but the truth about it to me is,,we all just need to be who we are, and to TRY and make a good difference to whatever we touch, in mind body and thoughts,wink.. If peace is easy to find within you, then peace can rain from you,wink.. Morals taste really good, if you baked them in your heart, wink. If THEY get SHOVED into it,,their bitter and cold. Hey thanks, I get your message It is kinda hard to bake morals in a cold heart Just playing |

It's oh, so hard to find what one's duty is
Oh, so hard to see what my "moral obligations" are I hear you should take an extra serving if going to a bar Hell!, take an extra serving wherever you are! (Oh, this isn't a trite pep-talk kids.....) Such obligations, like clean up this sty Do try and think ahead while living through the by and by And don't ever stop thanking that CONROLER in the sky (Oh, don't think it's a "bait and switch" of an old atheist) They're examplified by some verbal command dripping with gold They say do it well or your "I'm not sure what this is" will be sold There's no reason why, but they'll say you've already beeen told Their plight is such: I wanna shelter my IDEALS so I'll be the mold!! (Oh, don't think it's about getting lost, read on for the fix: ) Such obligations are dropped on your shoulders the second you're born You already feel their tiresome weight before the cord is shorn Such a mess it makes, such a good reason for the abundance of scorn (Oh, I think it's a bit confused, did we already try the mix?) Who's stuck with housework & trickled out economics are involved Who's been eating everything, all day till the next dawn Who wants to be here, though that feeling pervades:I Don't Belong Who needs slapped so hard, enough to pull them away from "The Throng" (Oh, that went well...so if you wanna build a fire, use these sticks) Grab your gun, you know who they are, kill any you see Go totally wild in such a different way, it's the only way to be Appendages are retrieved, cuz they're the things you wanna keep They clasp you in chains, lock you away in some filthy light to sleep (Oh, tell them why you've done it, tell it for some kicks....) "I had a moral obligation to put that thing under!!" We had moral obligations, now it's falling, ripped asunder "I felt a moral obligation to do anything I wanted to!!" We felt moral obligations, now it's falling, stinking of puke "I use a moral obligation to excuse everything I do!!" We used moral obligations while falling, it's the reasons why we lose |

Nothing made me an atheist faster than being called a "sodomite" and "abomination" and that there was no hope for a filthy fa***t.......that's the kind of love I'm used to hey, I know how you feel. I've always been an atheist and I'm not gay. However, I've had those same "loving" exclamations hurled at me. Among others.... Ya gotta love the outright stupidity of most religionists. |
