Don't believe in the Bible but you still believe in God.. ..Does that make you any less of a believer? I had this debate with a Priest, and I was wondering if I could have some outside opinions. Thanx. well with all due respect to Christians, from my point of view, if God created the universe and everything in it, and all the stars and galaxies, then one single book however spiritually profound shouldn't be such a big deal, though that said, the story of Jesus tells me a LOT more about Love then I've read anywhere else, but the problem with accepting words as totally right no matter what...well you can't with the bible, as it contradicts itself, the New Testament is completely different to the Old One, the only thing that's the same is that we still sacrifice sheep to make an offering to God...that is, an offering to Life itself, by eating the sheep (lamb) to sustain our life.

The Buzzard Circles the tracks of a sleigh ride carved on a scarred arm a step from suicide escalates with each personal harm does anyone really care have they read your written word parents, friends are never there they consider you absurd how much more will you take before making that final slice a rash decision you make oozing life's richest spice the comfort you find as the pain is released it'll blow their mind once you're deceased the life you had wanted to live trickles through the embalmers streams you've no more soul to give for all your hopes and dreams twas so easy for you to leave without a fight parents, friends bid you adieu you've proved them right..... Dedicated to all who inflict self pain, my heart goes out to you, and may you one day realize that you are worthy and no one is worth hurting yourself over, be thankful for today, for tomorrow may be worse, and yesterday is just a memory...God Bless ** there seems to be a growing trend of children known as cutters, they cut themselves and bleed thinking it to be away of releasing pain, most just end up with loads of scars and begin feeling even worse, teen suicides are also at an all time high, what the f have we done to the children of the world................ I guess to answer your question, I think there is too much information out there....the Information Age has turned into a juggernaut. Bombardment of images, words telling people just how to live, how cool they are, what they need want desire hate lovefeeljfkdkjfdl......see?? I think it's too much for some kids, they can't find their 'center', that core of who they are and what they want to be, Confusion reigns. Toss into that parents who don't care, who abuse in all forms, or who pushpushpush their kids to be the best at any cost, friends that don't listen or don't care and it all comes crashing in,there is a need to 'release' the pain and confusion via pain. Sorry for the rant...just wanted to share |

You might suffocate on All the reasons why you might run away from who you really are ^very reflective....I so enjoy soul searching poems and as the above said, been there done that...it's good to be reminded from whence one has come....very well done

blend them in a stinking, slimy black bag make sure you get a chance for some "hands-on" experience.... And really, why wouldn't you want to? why wouldn't you want to feel Filthy, from time to time?? You might finally get to understand yourself You might even pull yourself off that shelf.... but, then again, it might cause you to go a little mad You might suffocate on All the reasons why you might run away from who you really are you gonna stay up there on that shelf?? Yes, Run away run farther than you've ever dreamed run farther from what you really are and when you finally, finally, finally get there, Try and tear off that clinging black sac: "Did it chase after me???" is what a stupid person realizes "There must be more, everywhere" the para-schizo says "I dind't get it all off the first time!!!!" screams the prude "Person X or Simian Y...they did this to me" dreams Insecurity --This goes on down the line, every demi-urge with their arch-types in tow, every conceivable facet above and below.... idk.. maybe I'm looking for an answer that noone really has. Something to make me say, 'Dayum, didn't think of that.' But it's all the same arguement.. "Don't believe the bible ur not a believer." Type deals.. mixed with.. "Bible was written by Man, not God." Who ya gonna trust issues.. Then got those who are like: "If you believe, nothing else matters." I think I'm just searching for an answer.. I can't possibly expect to find in this life...
Maybe the whole point is that you ARE searching for questions and answers.......isn't that what Life is really about???
