I agree. I've seen New Order multiple times...got a lot of their CD's.etc... Still , not the same, at all. Ian had the IT factor, ya' know? I miss him soooo much! It's a shame...suicide. So much talent....gone.

Awesome band! Heart and Soul is one of my favorite all time songs, but pretty much the whole of Closer is good stuff.

The song Interzone from the Unknown Pleasures LP was based on the book of the same name by William Burroughs. Interzone was Tangiers Morocco cuz' it was a designated international zone where out-laws could hide-out and not risk deportation.

I definitely liked Joy Division and losing Ian Curtis before his time was just wrong. However, I've got to say that I'm a bigger New Order fan myself.

Really? That's cool. Normally it's the opposite. I know a lot of Joy Division fans that despise New Order. Personally, I like New Order. I find myself trying to separate myself from what they were. No band had a more difficult birth than New Order, ya' know?
