delved.....
....tried to give of itself
Down through
memories,
back through
to the 7's and 9's
eagerly my heart
held out
and hurled all
those "Here" and "Here" and "Here's"

But then I
didn't have
any follow through
when they
took and took
Didn't know
what else
They wanted

My eager heart
tried to keep
things going
a beat "Here"
do it till it makes you

Puke
on all your stars,
looked at long
by all those
everday eager hearts.

How I still
Delve and delve
even after
all I'd seen
amounted to
Nothing left to Give.
