I said "god" is a title of authority. I did not say "God" is a title of authority. God is a name, it is in reference to a specific being/entity. It is the name we have given Jesus' father for we know not what it is. Jesus only refers to his father as "his father". god is a title of authority. so Jesus is god but not God John 10:30 30I and my Father are one. but you claim that the father and Jesus were two seperate entites ....now you're contradicting yourself with a bible passage No contradiction. A family is one, but yet multiple people. Same with Jesus and his father, they are one. which means that Jesus are God were two seperate entity and not one God....dude stop playing games Again, "god" is not an entity. God never COMMANDED us to Obey Him !!!.\ so The Ten Commandments is not God commanding people to obey him? God already KNEW man would fail miserably at keeping his commandments..that is why God sent us His Son. God just wants us to receive His Son into our hearts FIRST...so we ARE ABLE NOW to follow and obey God now...and keep His Commandments....but on GOD'S STRENGTH IN us now...HELPING us now to Obey.  if God knew that man would not obey his commandments and therefore kill...that mean that he sent Jesus to be kill No, not necassarily. Regardless if Jesus was crucified or not, Jesus was sent to fulfill the old covenant and give us a new. Jesus was sent to do just that in which he accomplished. the fact that Jesus cried my god why hath thou forsaken me only shows that he didn't have a clue what was going on Doesn't mean he didn't have a clue what was going one. Did he ask what was going on? Did he make any statement/question that directly shows he didn't know what was going on? No. He just felt as God the father had forsaken him. |

Depending on what you describe and define "God" as, you cannot know if there is only one. How could you?
It is obvious that many Gods have been worshiped throughout the history of mankind. Then along came some group who decided that they were united under one God and to them, this was the only God. That's just their idea, and it became popular with many other religions. They each decided that their God was the ONLY ONE true God. Then the wars began. |

Morningsong, the truth is the truth. If Jesus was God why would he pretend not to be? If he was not God why would he pretend to be or let someone believe him to be? What you are saying is that the things Jesus said and did, depended on who he was talking to. He was a diplomat or con man or politician of some kind. He was not being called "good." He was being called "good teacher." So was he a "good teacher" or not? Was he using false humility? Was he saying that he, Jesus, was NOT GOOD? Why would he say that? |

Your intrepretation of a simple phrase (18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. ) is a bit overblown. No matter the condition of the mans 'heart' or mind... Jesus would not have LIED to him.
