Exactly, glad you pointed this out. Jesus never said he was God. Jesus always said he was OUR God. If he would have claimed to be God in general, that would have ment he was claiming to be over all and have authority over all even including his father. Thus is the reason he said he was OUR God, and he cried out to his father saying HIS God. Cowboy...claiming to be God or claiming to be our God would be the same as claiming to be God ..would it not? No because it was Prophecy. "The Lord GOD of Men shall come before thee in the Flesh." God told them HE would come. Sin_and_Sorrow....Cowboy claim that Jesus is God ...which mean that you are the one wrong

lol funches, listen please. Jesus isn't God in general. Jesus is OUR God, he is not where the buck stops. He is where the buck stops with US, but not in general. Thus he did his father's will as we are to do Jesus' will. Cowboy...I asked you if Jesus ever claim to be God ...yes or no because Sin_and_Sorrow...is saying that Jesus isn't God and never claimed to be God you both can not be right ..... Yes Jesus claimed to be OUR God and is OUR God.

Jesus is not the authority over EVERYTHING. Jesus is OUR God. I believe this is what Sin was referring to. Jesus isn't his father. Normally people think of God the father, and Jesus the son. When one thinks of "God" they are speaking of Jesus' father, not Jesus.

Jesus is OUR God, not "God". When referring to Jesus' father, we have moreorless given him the name "God" for we do not know his name.
