I do believe in God as well...I am sorry you got hurt or angered...I have been both as well...but God is not to blame... Anyone who is hurt or angered by God eventually goes back to the fold... for it is impossible to have feelings for/about someone or something that you don't believe is there. imF No one is EVER hurt by god. Only by their own perception that god is to blame... God loves us. All of us. Upon the earth and in the heavens. Perceptions of the spritual realms are sometimes tainted by those same rituals... shed them for but the time of a prayer... and walk with all that is for a moment. then decide

The church is within you - Jesus What it seems like you are confused about what is religion and what isn't. You think religion is what you see in the TV or hear in the news. You think, religion means you gotta dress up in a specific way and perform specific ceremonies in a specific place and you gotta read a specific book. My best suggestion is to educate yourself more.  There is shame in nakedness. If you think about it, if we all walked around naked, we'd be so preoccupied with sex that we would break the very laws and morals that we stand to preserve. It would literally be Sodom and Gomorrah and Ancient Rome all over again. And at the present time we are not far from it.  Shame? So how do they blend in a community that is very intolerant( i.e death for not conforming)? Have your own party in your home during the same time but celebrate the death of Christ. to be honest there are 3 good reasons that i went form pentecostal to agnostic. 1 i refuse to accept teh one world voice/one world choice of teh end times 2 i will never respect anyone who thinks george w bush was a decent president and tells me he did gods work. 3 churchs feed you there own man made dogma of endless crap and doctrine, in other words their way of tricking you outta every dime you get for some quick to dispose of ministy purpose. God didn't do any of that, man did all of that against God. Not all people or churches are like that. Do you have proof of this church doing such thing or is this all just propaganda. There is a difference between people and organizations that claim to be and those that truly are. |

In fact, they rather prefer it, I'd say. It is only after they are taught that being naked around others is not proper do they start wearing clothes by choice. And they best way to teach them that is via shame. Consider it the first mental scar bestowed by parents to child. |

But it is faith when you are ill, or when a loved one needs hope, it is faith when death creeps bye! Believe or not believe is not even the choice it is the Will one mankind has that gives us joy, laughter and contentment in are lives.. if we lived with, Hate then everyone would be dead that is why the earth was flooded the first time for 40days and nights we hated each other so much we were destroying one another with greed, sex and drink, with abuse and vindictiveness, we were selfish.. but hen God came to say.. Hay.... I made a mistake.. lets do thiS again.. and in the end... WE STILL AS A HUMAN RACES CHOSE DISGRACE! only a 1/3rd of the world wants peace... United States v The world! The Greatest thing of all is YOU don't Have to BELIEVE, FOR WE PRAY FOR EVERYONE... in the world.... so even if you do not believe or you chose to not care about faith.... I've studied many of the world's religions recently, from Ancient Egypt, Christianity, Kabbalah, (Need to study that one a bit longer as 40 years of study just scratches the surface.) Islam, Hindu, Shinto, I Ching, Taoism, Ancient Greek and Roman pantheons, and multiple translations of the Bible, and many other sacred texts. As far as this topic, everyone and everything that is, is proof of God. You just need to step back, and take in the whole picture in order to hope to comprehend something as vast, far away, and close as God. You are right to believe in yourself though, as each human has within them the spark of divinity. Indeed we not only have a link to God within each of us, but we also through him, have a link to everything.
