I always felt, if you want to believe in a God creator then do so by
reading about ethics and then adopting the best active morals which will support your ethical beliefs. Determining that we (humans) are only one part of the whole picture, that we are no less and no greater than anything that exists in the universe, and finally realizing that our happiness, our continuance as a species can never be fulfilled until we accept the responsibility of our actions. That means considering the repercussions of our actions upon everything that exists.

We are only one infantesimal part of the emergent qualities of the universe and like all actions, our own serve as an evolutionary tool though which tomorrow will emerge anew.

Abide by moral standards that extend respect for all of nature and in any God's eyes you cannot be wrong.

I believe i can be of some help here.

I know it can be hard to keep faith in God when adversity hits your life, But remember when it does its just God trying to get you closer to Him. When your haveing difficulty's in life God wants you to turn to Him for needs. He is there for you I know it and always will be. Have faith brother and take the next step knowing that God has a greater plan for you ahead. Just make sure when you take that step that you take it with His Guidence. I'll put you in my prayers.

No the point he was tryiing to make is that God dont cause these problems we do. For example if someone has sex ( not a tacky word ) and gets a desease then its their fault not Gods. Yes He could of stoped it if He wanted but that is the conquences of the sin. I have been through things in my life that at the time i didnt understand.I try to be a good Christian, so why was I having to go through these things then later down the road someone else was going through something simlar and they could get strenght from me and I will get strength from them. See my church family comes in a very close second to my blood family and they are there for me always. i have never had them go "NOPE, not my problem". it has always been what can i do to help. I've said it before if you havent believed then there is no way you can understand. But the thing is it dont matter whether u believe or not because its true. How do i know because i was there the night Jesus saved me and made me a new person. I can do anything i want to do but the thing is i dont want to do the things i used to do they dont interest me anymore. This may not have helped one bit but i hope it does. Have a great day.

i know many of you will snarl at the very thought of me posting here, but i did indeed abandon god, and i feel i was justified even if he did cry like a girl, and spread nasty rumours about my mum, now the reason was, he kept peeing on the toilet seat, now thats fine if you wipe away any evidensce, but he did not even atempt this simple curtiosy. and i got sick of going for a dump in the night, and sitting in god pee, thats just not acceptable no matter how holy he thinks his water is.
