sounds to me like you got sunburned!!!
i got my first sunburn a couple of weeks ago from working in the garden all day......spent nearly three hours ini the sun pulling all kinds of stuff (it useed to be a burning pit) and i forgot to put sunscreen on.....the proactiv solution my face three times more sensitive to sunlight

im reading the threads-and as much as i soo can relate-i am at a loss for words other than i'm sorry for the hardships,good luck,and admire the strength.

The flare ups have finally stopped where I could get some sleep. My dad was right when he said so many years ago that it sure feels better when it quits hurting. I worked the twelve hour shift last night after getting no sleep, yesterday and this morning when I got off I went to breakfast and just passed out. Came to just a little bit ago. Feel a lot better now.

I'm really going to need help being positive and maintaining a survivor and cheerful view.

I was just diagnosed with breast cancer.

God help me, I'm going to need all the support I can get.

I am so sorry you were diagnosed with the cancer.
Try to keep a positive attitude. I know several people
who have beat the disease. Remember they have more and
more treatments now and new drugs all the time. It is
more curable all the time.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
If you want to talk, send me an e-mail, I am swamped with
work right now so haven't been on much, but I do check my
mail. I promise I will respond if you write.
Check into support groups too, they have helped my friends alot.

Just a quick check-in.
I have been swamped so haven't been on much.
I have been working a part-time 2nd job and then
2 clinics I back up when their typists go on vacation
both approached me to cover for these two weeks and I
was a fool and said yes. Think I need my head examined,
good grief. I really need the money though as I am
trying to recoup some of the $850 I put into the car
in the past month or so, paid my friend's husband, "a
certified mechanic" $300 (including parts) to fix it
and he screwed it up really bad, had to take it to a shop
and pay them $556 to fix "some" of the damage he did. He
even ruined my air conditioner and then said "oh well you
don't need air conditioning around here." I could strangle
him. Now my heater fan isn't working either. Last week
it was in the 20s in the morning, so could have used the
fan.

Sorry, I am ranting, so the extra work is good, I am just
swamped and tired. Meant to check-in but too tired by the
time I get done with the typing. Will be done this weekend
and back to my more "normal" schedule.

Glad you checked in, Marie. I know what you mean about being swamped. I just had my days off changed from Fridays and Saturdays night to Wednesday and Thursday night. Only I am already scheduled for the first Thursday. Many of our aides that show up for work have all had to have their schedules change so one aide can have an one week vacation. The new NSA took the old NSA's name off the door and she goes by CNA supervisor. She came out of retirement to take the job. She asked me if the change in days off would bother me and since I just about work them all I said that I probably wouldn't notice the difference. I couldn't get the van to go last night so I hopped into the car to make it to work with the voltage and temperature light on. The car barely made it to the mechanic's yard and I was glad the mechanic's wife gave me a ride to the restaurant after my car was smoking in her yard. Her and her brother gave me a ride home. She said she would get her husband to work on it. He couldn't work on it today because now we got him as a cook at the nursing home. Kind of reminds me of that song with the lyrics of, "If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all."

had a pretty goood day today...verey emotioal.....my brother picked Momma and me up around quarter to 8 and we did a little shopping and went to see granny's and papa's graves......the emotions hit both of us at the same time....first time i've ever seen my brother cry.....first time i saw him hug Momma like that, too......like i used to when i was little......Momma's really happy that the two children she had (my other brother is my dad's kid from his first marriage....and the brother that is here is mom's from her first relatioinship) are here....it's doing her heart good.

Had a good morning. My friend, Lisa gave me a ride home. She is the one who gave me the seventeen chickens that my dogs ate. She is a junk collector and I gave her some junk. It was nice to get rid of the extra monitors, the old headboard, the chicken feeders and some old Christmas stuff.

awww, roy, i needed a headboard (queen, that is).....having a good day.....I MISS MY BABY!!!!!!!! haven't seen him in nearly three weeks now, and it's driving me CRAZY

You know for being without a car I have been getting around pretty good. It is nice to have more than just one friend. I am kind of liking this. Hopefully, I will have my car back soon, though. I have friends who are going to work on it, tomorrow they say. And then I can get the van fixed. That will be nice, too.

finally got to see ken yesterday..........and he met my brother......

went to my first dbt class today, and it's pretty cool.....what we're going over now is kind of a review for me, because my OPT had been going over some of the skills with me.....my brother took tons of pics yesterday and he's gonna email 'em to me, so hopefully i'll be able to put a more recent pic

I finally heard from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission today. It looks like the company has agreed to mediate; they are asking for my availability for April and May. Hopefully that means that it will be all be over with in a few more months and I won't have to move.
