It's always cute when irrelevant ethnic minorities use ridiculous rhetoric to create problems, and in the same breath, create idealistic solutions to those problems. Its a day dream than LOL..only blondes can live in a daydream..like Paris Hilton..and you're not blonde! I beg to differ! I was sent to the principle office alot for day dreaming and nodding off in class. Then again its the kentucky education system...nothing exciting lol LOL..oh so you accidentally got bleach on your head..happens to all of us in school!

Hawaii gets a lot of financial support from the mainland. They would suffer greatly if this idiotic plan succeeds. Thankfully, it will not. And hwere do you get this information??? The property tax dollars ALONE the United States makes from the Hawaiian islands is 100X more than the US government has put into it. The United States MAKES A PROFIT from Hawaii. proberty tax is a state tax not a federal tax

Hmmmm. please define "doing very well" Fanta. the native Hawaiians are treated basically like the "native Americans" (Indians to some). They are herded into small portions of land, and basically left to rot. Just what / where are these pockets? There are no Reservations in Hawaii, except for a hotel room. No Trail of Tears there either. They seek recognition as a tribe, there are several actually.

It's true, its not going to happen. It's all about money for the United States. Always has been and always will be. But the good news is, the United States is in chaos and about to collapse. Even the experts in America say its the fault of its own people. So if the collapse is devistating enough, then that would be the only possible avenue to change the situation in Hawaii. Will be interesting to see what kind of shanty government will replace the current one in the United States. I have a feeling its going to be even worse and more corrupt.

It's true, its not going to happen. It's all about money for the United States. Always has been and always will be. But the good news is, the United States is in chaos and about to collapse. Even the experts in America say its the fault of its own people. So if the collapse is devistating enough, then that would be the only possible avenue to change the situation in Hawaii. Will be interesting to see what kind of shanty government will replace the current one in the United States. I have a feeling its going to be even worse and more corrupt. I'd like to run in to you on the street talking that ****!

Did China not just bail out the US housing market and owns a TON of US property now? The "war" in Iraq isn't sacraficing American lives for OIL? The service men and women that died years ago died for somethig valuable. honor, dignity, pride were some of those things. Now, America sacrafices American lives for oil. where is the honor, dignity and pride in that? Personally, its a huge tragedy. And what I meant by America being "selfish", is the people. they are mostly self centered and self serving. Even the experts in America are saying this and that it is the American people who have made this situation what it is by not standing up to the government and taking thier rightful control of thier own destiny (as it was setup in the beginning). So no hostility here, just stating what is clearly already out there. What happens to America really won't effect me. I am an American, but I seen this one coming and prepared for it. tried to warn everyone, but as you see here, they just look at you and say "what?". So I did my part and now will just watch.

I understand that my position may not be "politically correct," but ethnic Hawaiians are irrelevant in today's world, just about as much eskimos, Apache, and the Yakutsk of the Far East. None of them who are alive have any claim to the lands that were "stolen" from them because none of them were even alive when it happened. This argument is about as bogus as blacks who preach reparations for slavery.
