They did that to my first husband. They gave him some sort of hallucinogenic drug for some experiment in the heat of the Viet Nam War. (Excuse me, police action.) They really messed a lot of our soldiers up.

My second husband was also screwed up by the military. (Uncle Sam sends home damaged goods and expects them to live normal lives.) I decided I can't fix them, and the marriages would not work.

When I was a child Isaac Newton was my hero. I was very much interested in math and science.

However, I was never told of Isaac Newton's study into the Bible. Now there's a man who did read the Bible in great detail. In fact, I once hear that he own over 200 copies of the Bible! I don't know if there is truth to that or not, but most scholars do tend to agree that Isaac Netwon actually invested more time studying the Bible than he did in his studies of physics and math!

His conclusion was that Jesus was not divine!

I had no clue of this until much later in my life, only after I had already come to the very same conclusion on my own.

I'm am relieved to hear that such a great and brilliant man came to the very same conclusion.

And Isaac Newton didn't start out as as a skeptic to disprove the religion. On the contrary, he started out just like me with a desire to KNOW God!

So I'm not alone in my history with the Bible. I'm in great company.

And I'll never understand why people are so bent on defending the Biblical picture based on pure faith.

Why is it that they are so hungry to believe that they have fallen from grace from their creator to the point where he had to have his son butchered on a pole to save their butts?

I would never choose to believe such a gruesome story on faith alone, must less defend it purely on that basis.

I'm truly beginning to believe that the Jews are the ones who crucified Jesus (probably for blaspheme) since he denied so many things that had been established in the Old Testament.

Then later these stories were written to point the finger at the Romans, and then use the crucifixion to bolster their original Old Testament.

This I believe.

We've all been had by unscrupulous manipulators, who used not only us, but Jesus as well!

Genesis 3

1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"

2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

"Cursed are you above all the livestock
and all the wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly

"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,

through painful toil you will eat of it
all the days of your life.

18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,

until you return to the ground,
