The Four Letter Word

Finally comming home to noone in the dark,
Only now to realize the past was just a spark.
Unrelenting memories crowd my bothered heart,
Realizing all too late, I let a fake love start.

Letting one's self down is never easy at it's best.
Ending what might be, would stop this tired little quest.
Tending to my wounds as I worry about her pain,
Treading where I shouldn't, Yes I'll take all the blame.
Ever feeling weary, will be my one dark curse,
Returning infatuation will be my write in verse.

Wherever I may wonder
Or wherever I may go,
Redemption may elude me
Despite the path I go.

Love should be the binding
That shall weave the caring souls.
One to one together
Creating the forever that we know.

Aww now LAMom, I know it's hard when ya lose. Heck I'm even guilty of losing too. Even if we're down and don't wanna listen, our hearts always has a word of encouragement even if we don't want to listen. Don't be sorry for ranting with me cause GOD knows you put up enough with me....lol.

Struggle Within

How do you hold someone that loves you no more
And how can you speak of peace,
While they're pushing you out the door?
Can't you hear the winds of change
Blowing through the now,
Tearing you up inside,
Leaving your feelings
Nowhere to hide?

Why can't you ignore the beating of your heart?
Why can't you just walk away and know you have lost?

There's no reason in wodering why,
Many don't understand love,
Creating suffering and strife.
Some of the many are not seeking a love
They don't see what could be so much.

Just remember that love never dies.
It's never ashamed and it never hides.
Love carries a hope and a life of it's own,
Even for those who've left you and gone.

Listen to your heart
For your heart is what knows.
