“Happiness is Within”

There comes a time in life.
Even beyond all the strife.
That one must sit down and realize.
That no matter how much we fantasize.

Life does not happen the way we want.
At times it will come back to haunt.
No matter what we look for.
We never know what is in store.

We try so very hard.
And at times put up our guard.
You see we think if we build a wall.
Then there is no way we will fall.

But no matter what we do.
Or how hard we try we wonder if it is true.
Is there really a sweet end to it all?
In the end will we stand tall?

Will we realize that happiness is within?
And in this life we all can win.
Learn to stand up and shout.
And never let this world make you doubt.

Where it is you actually want to be.
Let the entire world see.
That yes it is true.
You are happy being you.
