Life is but a whisper
An open grave in ground
We hover one foot over
And hope never to fall down.

We rarely see it comming
Like a sudden spark at night
All at once there's clarity
Then we stumble in our might.

The moments that we live
Are just pictures in a frame,
Looking back we realize
What for we are blamed.

We climb the steepest mountains
And brave the frozen wastes
Yet we find we're nothing
When it comes to being great.

Mourning Silence

Her voice like rain
And tortured in raspy sigh.
She pushed you away
But she never...
Made you cry.

Your heart never felt heavy
For you knew it would end.
The dance lost it's song
And your wings lost their wind.

The symphony of dreams
You held for so long,
Wither to dust,
So much has gone wrong.

Your moonlight gave you darkness
Now that her whispers are tears,
Bringing to life

The deepest of pains
Found in the chasm so dry
Once filled with tears
You thought that you'd cry.

Your tender heart hardens
As it's rings show your age,
Each one bears a death
Marked with love's stain.

A mansion alone,
A fortress in night,
Perpetual darkness,
Standing in time.

No tears can be found
No wails to be heard
Tortured in silence
Yet a death is endured.

It's funny how life goes,
When there's rain,
Sometimes it snows.

When the freezing sets in
A heart turns to glass
And often it's shattered
From words that were cast.

The clear, starry skies
Seen like the sun
Becoming so cloudy
When all feels undone.

When the moment arrives
Where one takes no more
The spirit light dims
And pain begs for more.

Tell me
Please what would you do,
If everything unraveled
And I came unglued?

If I cried
Would you wipe away my tears,
And if I fell behind
Would you fight back my fears?

Could you tell me you love me
And hold me so tight?
Would you be guiding my spirit
Back to your light?

Could you give me
What none other could do,
And fill up my life
With love
Unconditional from you?

Death of a Soul

As the leaves fall in autumn
My heart sinks just like the sun
The seasons change
And life is yet undone.

The rain falling,
Burns the visions
Of what has been thus far
And seeps through this darkened soul
That feels every pain and mar.

The heart's afraid of dying,
Afraid of lost memories past.
Now alone and weeping
And dying much too fast.

The spirit fades without much help
As drained as life could be,
The spirit knows what's comming
As this life shall cease to be.

The fruits have all gone soured
And aged are they with time
Lost their subtile sweetness
As life has lost it's rhyme.

Perhaps the whispers ring what's true
Love will never last
Upon this faded, curs-e-d soul
He's never free at last.

Destroyed and Reborn

Whispers in the darkness
With tauntings of a heart,
Playful like a nymph,
Dormant from the start.

Subtile visions blurred
Within this simple mind,
Something now is stirred
And forced me out of line.

Like an angel giving blessings
Or the gentle kiss of wind....
Something grabs my heart
And causes me to spin.

Emotions running rampant,
Running wild just like a beast,
Attacking from the shadows;
Preparing for a feast.

I find that I am prey
And hunted silently.
Remade and torn apart
Reborn unviolently.

The haze floats from my vision;
My strength is found renewed!
My heart is now devoured
By an angel in my view.

The strange sensations pass,
My heart no longer seen
And yet it is replaced
By my Lover's soul in me.

Something So Rare

It's something that grows
As a seed in the soul,
Nurtured by care
And feelings we know.

It's fed from the heart
And grows stronger with faith,
Led by a wisdom
Not garnered in haste.

In it's true form
It's never matured,
Forever it lives
Though it may fracture.

Hope plays a part
Or even lends hand
To this greatest of gifts
Though usually not planned.

It's stronger than steel,
Yet as weak as the mist,
Though sometimes it's planted
With just a mere kiss.

To grow it takes time
And often it's lost,
Once it has you
There's counted no cost.

Priceless in nature,
Almost precious as life,
True Love lives in shadows
Until it's struck by the light.

Dreams amongst dreams
And piles upon piles
Of dormant memories of emotion
Caught deep inside.
The chests that were locked away,
Hidden within,
Never again to see light
Within this fragile life.

Once had I wished to die
Intact with my pride
But to no avail
As these treasures
Now surface again.
Your heart has moved
Upon the ashes so deep
And your face had seen
What so few
Have ever known.

Please don't awaken the child
And play with his heart,
He's been once confused
And twice torn apart,
His slumber is well respected
You see.
But then again all that you see
Is me.
The faded spirit caught up in dream.

Creations Affected

In a place where skies are hid
A place where sunlight fades,
Where tears have formed their rivers deep,
The forest lost it's shade.

Where once I heard sweet music,
Now a thunder calls,
Something's lost and hid in stone
Behind the tearful falls.

The field I walk, no longer green
But cast in hues of brown,
Destroyed here was a beauty,
The flowers all cut down.

Don't let your eyes become so closed,
Creator show your face!
My friend you have the power
To heal this lovely place.

Through pain you are afflicted
But through hope you draw the sun,
By friends you are uplifted
And through faith, my friend, you've won.
