I couldn't speak my heart
For the words I could not say.
My lips had seemed so frozen
But I wanted you to stay.

Even in your anger
I saw an angel in my view.
I couldn't help but cry,
What was I to do?

You tore away the man
And left and empty shell.
You saw right through the darkness
And made me face my hell.

More than once I've lost you,
I knew it in my heart.
Each time that I enraged you,
A searing pain would start.

I never knew forgiveness,
The kind that gives a life.
I thought you'd be a name
Written in my book of strife.

I never thought you cared,
Though you I could never read.
You brought me back from darkness
And made me so believe.

I've never had the honor
To join an angel's heart
But here you are my darling
To make a brand new start.

A Life From Death

Somewhere in the shallows,
Within the mist surrounding life,
A heart has been laid silently
And covered with it's strife.

Somewhere roams a spirit,
Devoid of life's own binds,
Searching for a heart
And caring not for time.

Somewhere there's a body,
Left within a limbo's care,
Daring not to live
Nor living for a dare.

Here and there a piece of human,
Left within this life to die,
It's hands no longer function
It's eyes no longer cry.

Where crow has fled and ravens call,
The death still incomplete,
Something whispers life from death,
A call left not replete.

Raise the heart from strickened ground
And call the body nigh.
Bid the human live again
And set the spirit right.

Gather up the human strands
And bind them all as one,
Wisdom wraps the package well
As death has been undone.

A human lives where death will dwell
Unscarred by the unknown,
A choice to live yet once again
Was his to make alone.

Have you ever loved
And made a bond so strong,
Your life was but a shadow
Then everything went wrong?

Have you ever listened
With the ears of heart,
As the golden glow of whispers
Had faded into dark?

Have you seen the eyes
That lit up like the sun,
Only then to realize
It was just in fun?

Have you ever loved
With every fiber of your soul,
And lost the one you loved
Though they didn't know?

Have you ever felt
The stinging of the tears,
Searing streams of loss
Ignored by darkest fears?

Have you felt the torture
Endured each day by day,
Living in a limbo
When your penance comes to play?

Each thing in life is counted
Whether be it good or bad
A test that some have failed
Making many others sad.

Though losses come in rain
And pain may come in scores,
Listen to my heart
A wisdom the world ignores.

In Dream

There she waits
With silver streaks upon her head,
And translucent trails upon her cheeks.
Waiting for an angel to come.

With stares aloft
To skyward bound
And heavy heart
She feels to drown,
Within her visions so wondrous fair.

An adventure lived
which she awaits
With thoughts of fate
That lead her homeward bound.

Waiting for the angel she seeks
Or knight to whisk
Her from light feet.
She knows he's only a breath away.

So much to do,
So much to learn,
Yet still she pines
With urge to burn,
And still she sits in wait.

Dear child you are
And shall ever be
The dearest one perceived.

With closed eyes,
She dares to dream
Of thoughts and life,
Of sweet release.

She yearns to see
This angel
She's dreamt to be.

Wow, thank you all for your replies. Just to update y'all a bit, I'm still working weird hours and hoping they'll end soon so I can get back to writing more and being around my friends here.
