Welcome Misty,
You'll find quite a few good folks here. I've only been here a couple of weeks myself and have loved every minute of it :) Don't go shooting down the age thing though, There seems to be quite a range here from the profiles I've looked at, my big problem has been distance. I didn't think a city as big as Greeley Colorado could be so far from EVERYONE! :( |

Dang! It makes it sound like I should be SOMEBODY !! LOL
DONALD Gender: Masculine Usage: Scottish, English Pronounced: DAHN-awld From the Gaelic name Domhnall which means "ruler of the world", composed of the Old Celtic elements dumno "world" and val "rule". Two kings of Scotland have borne this name. EUGENE Gender: Masculine Usage: English Pronounced: YOO-jeen [key] From the Greek name Ευγενιος (Eugenios) which was derived from the Greek word ευγενης (eugenes) meaning "well born", composed of the elements ευ "good, well" and γενης (genes) "born". This was the name of several saints and four popes. Other famous bearers include Eugene of Savoy, an 18th-century general who served the Austrian Empire, and the American playwright Eugene O'Neill. |

Welcome Sushi
Just treat this place like real life, engage those who interest you and ignore those who do or those who seem to just want to be a-holes (both genders) There's quite a few gooduns here and you'll make some good friends. Like my Granny used to say..... "Don't let the assholes in life pester your nose too much, it'll only give you wrinkles and the wind shifts often!" |

Scorp I'm with you for the most part but not completely. There really
are ladies here but like Tx said, check to see if they've ever posted. This site gets spammers just like any of them and let me tell you I get soooooo many messages from 20 somethings in EBFE who it's obvious aren't real or interested it isn't funny. Enjoy the site, post, make friends and who knows what'll happen but learn to recognize which messages are spammers/scammers and which aren't. Remember that not all "real" contacts aren't going to develop into that one relationship we're all looking for and that goes for face to face meetings too. As for the women out there who prefer the "bad boy"? I can't really answer that because like all of us I face it on a daily basis too. It hurts and gets a person low feelin but you have to have hope that someday you'll meet one who's real and really wants what she says. |

What's your middle name and how do you feel about it? I've always hated
mine (Eugene) because I just never liked the sound of it. It wasn't until a few years ago that someone said something that got me to thinking why that was and I came to the conclusion it was probably because the only time I ever heard it that it meant I was in deep shit! When parents use your middle name it's generally not because they want to congratulate you for something you did! LOL AND....... if they broke out the entire name INCLUDING the "Jr" it usually meant you were in for a good beating. |

Been collecting recipes and cookbooks since I was 8. My Granny got me
started and now my cookbooks fill about 5 six foot bookcases. Along with that came collecting cookware and kitchen gadgets. I have more cookware than most restaurants (over 50 different frying pans LOL) I love to cook for other people and even though I live alone I have service for 20 in case I want to throw a BIG party. I've entered several cooking competitions such as chili cookoffs and lasagna bakeoffs more for the experience than the prize (usually I have WAY more invested in the food than top prize is) and generally have taken first place so I must be doing ok LOL. |
