A person has got to ask themseves if was right why do I feel bad about it? Maybe its a conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Maybe my definition of Christianity is a bit liberal by comparison to another's.. But, that is my right. As I understand it, very simply put...Primarily we are supposed to lead our lives as 'Christ like' as humanly possible. It does not say that we have to be Jesus. Just do our best to be as close to that mark as we can get while still being human. That does leave much room for error, failure, falling from grace, mistakes...etc... In that, forgiveness and understanding of self can be a pretty good practice too. Reading the Bible, listening to the Church leaders too literally can be full of pitfalls as well. I feel that believing in the word of the Bible and believing that the Bible is inerrant or taking another humans definition /translation as Gospel... Are two completely different things. So... I'd suggest (for what it is worth) maybe relaxing some. You know what your truth is. Give yourself some room to live within it. I am not saying that people including myself have nevr done it (masterbation) but we have Jesus for forgiveness I just feel that we have to at least try not to. Actually in the bible it talks of a man "spilling his seed" and he was put to death. And Jesus says if we look upon another as to have sex we have committed adultery in our minds. God is pure and we are suppose to try and be like Jesus.

I glad to hear the good news about your Mother and that she is ok ....but more obvious proof that God has something to do with healing people would be to grow back the limbs of the amputee ...your Mother may unknowningly possess the power to healed herself at an excelerated rate or to lessen the chance of argument believed that she has been healed by God ..but the undisputed fact still remains that God or Jesus never grows limbs back I feel that God works through people and the thing about limbs is God inspired Drs. to invent prostetic limbs. Just think that a person who looses a leg can actually walk again with ease. Here in Canada a fellow named Terry Fox inspired many with his cross countery run useing a articial limb. Unfortunatly his cancer returned and took his life before he finished. So what I am trying to say is the glory of God is all around us all we have to do is look for it. |
