I would highly recommend Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and any of her writings on the philosophy of Objectivism. She has a unique and refreshing take on the whole concept of selfishness as an integral part of life.

great book, Lex Have you read her first one, "We the Living"? Written in 1931, I believe. Some of the elements of "Atlas" are already there, albeit in embryonic form. Just amazing stuff. I'm reading her "Romantic Manifesto" now -- it's about the role of art in society. |
