Bedside Manner

The attends were neatly stacked
on the night table next to the bed
Rails raised, preventing another fall
that previously damaged her head

She never looked forward to tomorrow
but was excited about today
Her lovely son was going on vacation
and stopping in on the way

It has been a year since she last saw him
but he now has a life of his own
Still she wonders if this is the day
when she'll die all alone

Faint memories flash by
recalling the day he was born
How long and painful the ordeal
that left her ragged and torn

Tilting her head to glance at the clock
she realized that he was late
It was at that moment her heart stopped
and dying alone was her fate..................

Never forget who brought you here

I "hestitated" in reading this, you always make people think too much, but ala's it's good for what little brain I have left.....ah etched pain, our souls are etch-a sketches and we always seemed to be doodlers.....nicely etched....don't hestitate so long to post another.

give that woman a new lexus you finally get the point, wow, I'm impressed that you understand SIN IS MAN MADE, most think it's some sort of divinity falling from the clouds, or at the very least the apple tree, although I still wonder why women bleed once a month, that's the first question I'm going to ask when I go beyond, if there be such a place.....being facetious, have a good day.

sin is a manmade word, much like religion, used to control those who can't think for themselves.

^my definition

sin is the subconscious telling the conscious it screwed up

^the worlds definition

sin is what your God says if you don't bow down to him

^His definition

sin is raising hell and hoping that you enjoy it

^the devils definition

I do them all the time, there are many old houses in Phila, it's what I do...windows are a pain because of the settling, usually you have to order them a tad smaller, but sometimes you get lucky if they have the false frame that holds the metal weights in them for opening and closing the window, just remove it and then you'll have plenty of room to work with.. Leveling is another issue, sometimes you have to create a mirage with the capping.....

Children are always
gentle flowers growing wild
nurture them softly

Remember Me....(Bittersweet)

I am your oppressor
the stick upon your open wounds
the salt within the gaping flesh
a chaotic storm upon your soul

I am the one who swore
you'd never amount to anything
the rope that held you in place
a dagger plunged within your heart

I am the ultimate tranquilizer
that keeps you in a stupor
as a world of happiness flies by
the thorazine laced with blues

I am your past, present and future
the coffin that nestles pleasant dreams
and turns them to nightmares
an abyss of all your childhood fantasies

Remember me
I am Love
that taste of honey
you'll never know............

substance my dear substance, it involves a weeding out process, much like anyone you would meet in person except this is easier, all you have to do is click. There are a lot of good people on here, you just have to seek them out and think with your mind and not your heart, eventually and hopefully you'll find someone to your liking, it's inevitable...Good luck, patience and diligence take time, how long do you have?

ok i am confused? can some one tell me why parents turn there kids against the other parent?

^simple they are more worried about their own vanity then the welfare of the child, to any parents that do this here's a polite message, Grow the hell up before your child learns and understands that you are full of it.

Loved this but don't want to be too condescending, you might fake an orgasm if I show too much bliss...Lmao

man this read like the inside of the jumbled mine of an adolescent about to cross over into adulthood when he realizes the more he learns about himself the more f.u.ck.e.d. in the head he really is....Love the answer you gave in reference to how man questions his masculinity when dealing with women. How can one ever be perfect in bed...go to sleep:)....awesome stuff young man, please do more free verse

yes I appreciate the fine observation, doesn't sit well with me either, one of these days I hope to have time to redo a lot of the stuff I've written. I definitely appreciate the positive feedback and the honesty.....Thanks much

for the most part I feel what you are saying, but as one who has worked hand in hand with inner city youths and how they are blatantly disrespected by the police it falls on deaf ears. Cops used to be community oriented and did their jobs without much fanfare, now they are just part of a society that has been caught up in the system and for the most part they've bought into it lock stock and barrel and have become part of the problem instead of the solution. Yes there are some good cops, just like there are some good crooks, I mean politicians. It's a thankless job, but no more than our public school teachers who in todays society probably risk their lives almost as much as a cop....I'm a rebel by nature, but also smart enough to know that we need cops or else there would be utter and complete chaos, yet we don't need most of the ones we have now, because as I said, they are part of the problem,.

Some truly want to help and serve a purpose in the community - others enjoy abusing the authority they are given.

^yes like politicians some have a great view and vision when joining the force, but over time their attitudes usually suffer and they become just like the other a.s.s.holes in their fraternity....

Do you know what job has the most women abusers in it......ask a cop, I'm sure he'll be delighted to answer it....hmmmm

only thing a cop can do for me is write my ticket, that is if he can catch me....other than that, I'd much rather talk to a crackhead

If children are the spice of life, what are parents.
