How does true love stand the test of time?

the greatest test of genuine love is when one has a thought the other finishes it....

or

I have noticed throughtout my short life that older couples that had been married for years, when one died no matter how healthy the other one was, they died a short time later, that always cemented the thought to me that they truly loved each other and couldn't or didn't want to live without the other....just a thought

an easy question, the one being apologized to should be able to sense or feel the sincerity of such, as long as they consider the apology with their mind instead of their emotion......the question should be is an apology really necessary if both have a complete understanding of one another and can truly grasp what the offense was and communicate that said offense shouldn't happen again...

I'm sorry if this didn't answer your question:)

women are easy to understand if one takes the time to look into their eyes past the reflection, it's a gift bestowed upon men, problem is we can't think past our other little brains long enough to realize it. That's what complicates them, our own stupidity.

I suffer occasionally from depression because of this, and am definitely not looking forwards to another holiday season alone and staring at the four walls again.

^Just occasionally, man that has to be tough and weigh on the emotions every minute of the day.....sadly I think fate has done you a huge disfavor, medically speaking has basically cost you the life you had, but alas' all is not over, you need to start anew, get out more, seek out GENUINE people as obviously your ex wasn't. The thing with the kids will probably remain the same until they wise up and realize you were the same man who not only brought them into this world, but changed their s.h.i.t.t.y diapers as well. It's a me me me world today and kids are caught up in the "who has the most money syndrome or who can provide the most for them materially. You sound like a good guy, hopefully you'll find someone to appreciate you for you, instead of what you can give them......Sad that your kids are missing out on a loving dad and common sense...oh well, tis the world

a beautiful dedication from mother to offspring, what is sad about the title is that many GIVE life yet fail to sustain the quality or enhance it further, I.e, dead beat dads, neglecting mothers what have you. People often wonder what is wrong with the children of today, when they are but a reflection of their parents.....question answered.

life itself provides the best education, but there is no education greater than that of self.....thanks for the comments.

wouldn't we all, it's something many of us crave, yearn, burn for, but it can be very dangerous when consumed by it because you might end up settling, think with the mind as well as with your emotions, it will work out a lot better for you. The roads we travel in life are never gold paved or halo'ed by rainbows, however there is bliss with patience, understanding ones self and communicating those needs to another. The best advice I could ever give anyone is "never accept anything less then what you yourself are willing to give".....Have a happy holiday season, and who knows, santa may bring you what you want or he may get stuck in your chimney and you'll have to settle...lol

****I'm not sorry nor do I regret my past, it has molded me into who I am.
