the information given is hardly enough for one to even have any clue as to what the problem may be, but all in all I think this may be one of the worst places to ask the question, especially in regards to your son, seek professional health. I have worked in the mental health field and have stayed at a holiday inn, but surely unless one has access to a case report or has a clue as to what the child is going through then one can only make assumpions and that's dangerously asinine......Besides Psych's get paid to get to the bottom of such things, either that or take him to a therapist. and please do it before he destroys his life. Good Luck

10 questions women want to know

1. What does it mean when a guy constantly flirts with you but never asks you out.......

A. It means he wants you to try out for the pole vault in his olympics only to never walk down the aisle to get the medal

2. Why do men crave beautiful "model type" women and yet fear them?

A. Men don't fear them, men are smart, we know that if she looks that good she probably skipped home economics and can't cook worth a damn.

3. Why are men afraid of committment?

A. One day a man awoke missing a rib, the next, he was enticed into eating the fruit, the world has been screwed up ever since, and you ask why?

4. Can a man ever be loyal to just one woman?

A. Yes, unfortunately only his mother

5. Is it really a man's world

A. No, we think we run things, but actually the women do, they just let us think we're in control.

6. Why do men wear black at their wedding

A. because we are actually dressed for our funeral, for we are doomed. It should be called the bride and the doomed, instead of the bride and the groom.

7. What's the one thing that turns most men on?

A. The remote on Sunday afternoon

8. How can you tell if you have a good man?

A. If he respects you, treats you as an equal, and puts up with your parents, what more could you ask for.

9. Why do some men treat women so bad

A. Because they let them

10. Are all men really dogs?

A. no, because if that were true we could do what dogs do and there would be no need for a woman....ha ha ha

The Questions and answers do not reflect this individuals opinion of such matters, ok, a few of them do......ahahahahahahahaha

sadly I'm not into family oriented holidays, usually ride the bike through the mountainside or sleep all day. I do however enjoy Christmas eve seeing the anticipation on the neighborhood children's faces, but christmas day I like being alone with my dogs. When one grows up in an alcoholic family environment, the holidays lose their effect, and they become a built in time of depression, so yeah, you're not alone, there are many people who actually dread the holidays, and lately it has gotten worse as the family units throughout society become more and more divided.

Betrayal

such a very dark word
throughout the history of man
an action, swirling in deceit
running amuck with deception
there's no protection
for those vulnerable to such

the world is an abyss
a pit hiding rattlers
when we descend
we are bitten
and then express shock

buzzards circle
to witness the death
of unbreakable bondings
you'd think even they would learn
from the stench of bitterness
yet they feast upon the decay

only the bones remain
piled, like a memorial for scars
DNA for further transgressions
the science of hurt and pain
and one day we shall learn
mirrors make the best microscopes......

(the summer of 64
finally an invite
to the "big game")

a massive chestnut tree stood watch
as we proudly displayed our marbles
the circle was drawn, my left hand twitched
wondering if the beady eyes noticed

being the youngest, I had to go first
the shot was sure and true
center of the circle, my "cat eye" never failed
concern bordered competitive faces

Freddie stepped up pulling his "steely"
a hideous marble, that matched his smile
but his shot was perfect
sending my beloved cat eye beyond

the game went on for over two hours
each player had at least one in the middle
but none could match freddie's perfection
the steely proved too intimidating

down to my eleventh and final shot
I saved the "sulfer" teddy bear
a special marble that I cherished
it smiled and on that day, I think it even winked

nervously I stepped to the line
aiming for the glaring steely
my shot was way off to the right
slowly rolling toward nothing

just then a chestnut fell from the tree
hitting the teddy, altering its course
the marble rolled into the steely
replacing its position perfectly

there was a huge debate
but I was declared the winner
quickly I bagged my winnings
not forgetting to include the chestnut

I never played again
for fear of losing such treasure
but lost all my marbles
in the 72' Agnes flood

now I realize I never lost them
they've just been replaced
by the people in my life..........

again, the Noble Peace prize committee gets my nomination...and of course the six deviant idiots who snatched a young lady out of a chinese store and drug her to an apartment where they all took turns raping her. They all got caught in the act and hopefully will be Bubba's turkey while in prison.....

will also have to nominate Chris Brown, such a man is he that he had to brutally beat his woman to get his point across, tsk tsk, you'd think these macho men would learn, too bad he's a big time celebrity, he too should have spoent a few years with Bubba....

Hut in all seriousness my nomination continues to go to all those who neglect their children and all those who have loved ones in nursing homes that they no longer visit, shame on you.

Nuttah

Echoes deep within her heart
have spoken unto mine
teach me she asks
what makes love divine

I must remain speechless
for tongues tell lies
the answer she seeks
reflects in my eyes

Love is everlasting
if generated from the soul
caress and cherish it
as you would a foal

nourish it, allow it to grow
yet smother it with affection
hold it to your bosom tenderly
bask in its reflection

in order to get, you must give
in order to breathe, you must live.....

**Nuttah is Native American for "MY heart"

Beyond the scope

ah love
unimaginable
tangled emotions
a lifelong quest

unconditional bliss
silken petals
smooth ribbons
comfort thy heart

raging waters
occasional storms
cease to exist
with compassionate words

lilies sprout
o'er majestic fields
intoxicating scent
drunken stupor

tearfully caressed
upon a bossom
drowning in hope
beyond the scope.

Brought back a lot of memories and made me miss my home town, we still have the "gatherings there, because it's so far out in the woods they have to pump sunlight so all they can do is gather and chit chat, though it, the town itself has changed drastically, the people no longer genuinely care about one another, the kids are no longer the focus of the community, love thy neighbor or at least uplift them is no longer important.....Most of my education came from the gatherings, where the older people would tell stories and share their life experiences, now it seems they are just waiting for the sun to consume them, and the ball parks that were once fields of dreams cluttered with kids learning life and discipline remain empty, a sad reminder of where our society hath gone....Thanks for sharing this, we need to get back to the basics...

want to know what happened to society, ask a writer.

Jimz, you are so talented and such a joy to read, I admire your work, but count the word "The" in this....almost enough for two more lines, anyhow, it was so good I could even forgive the blahs, I mean the "the's"

conciousness
of each other.
Didn't you know
I am
your mirror?

what we love and hate in ourselves we see in others, quite deep and thought provoking, I so enjoy reflective writes...very nice

I'm not coming back no more

Been here since the beginning of time
a desolate soul roaming the earth
my royalty clothed in torrid rain
since the moment of my birth

old souls collected along the way
begging for eternal release
to finally sleep uninterrupted
for heaven is a moment of peace

another day beckons the morning dew
tattered souls cry out in repressed sorrow
"the Raven" has once again returned
to feast upon the decay awaiting tomorrow.......

Have you ever felt that you've been here forever, and you've just realized you're tired....Don't worry, it's times like these I fight the hardest to maintain what little sanity I have left..........This poem was Inspired by my favorite Song Deja vu', by Teena Marie
